judiciary committee. the process lasted one year, 10 months and six days. the letter was sent to lindsey graham, senator dianne feinstein, representative jerry nadler and the house judiciary chairman and representative doug collins. the letter from the attorney general says i remain committed to as much transparentr parent i as d as much -- as much transparency as possible. attorney general william barr says he wants to make as much public as possible. it's up to his discretion what will be public and will not. the attorney general could update members of the house and senate judiciary committee as early as this weekend as to his principle conclusions. who he believes should be prows cuted if any out of this report.

we are told the report is comprehensive. senator mark warner from virginia saying congress and the american people deserve to judge the facts for themselves. the special counsel's report must be provided to congress immediately and the attorney general should swiftly prepare a declassified version of the report for the public. there will be enormous pressure for republicans and democrats to make this report public. liz: the real action to watch is the southern district of new york in continuing its own probes. we don't know what if anything will be leaked. the house judiciary and democrat-led committees are looking for impeachable

offenses. depending on what robert mueller finds, that's what they will be looking for. >> that could pose the most legal jeopardy for the president. those are state charges looking at his finances. democrats on the house judiciary committee seem to be shifted their focus of investigation trying to get more of the president's finances. it seems they realize there was no conclusion -- no collusion with the russians. so it seems that focus is starting to shift to look and search if there is something in the president's finances. we are seeing that with the 81 letters sent out from the judiciary committee, sort of a fishing net to see if they can find anything. the democrats will try investigation after investigation it seems. liz: some of this information will be protected because it's grand jury information.

>> exactly. some of it cannot be made public. some of it related to the pending cases. 36 indictments that are sealed. information in the report could be related to those indictments and they are not unsealed yet. some of the report cannot be made public. attorney general barr made a pint to say he wants the public to see as much as they can. that the public deserves to know what they were paying for in this report. liz: 34 people had criminal charges, conviction of five. a dozen russian intelligence officers, 13 russian individuals. three russian companies. the price tag for this probe, $25 million. this story will be on the radar screen throughout the weekend. there is action over the weekend on this, right, edward?

>> that's right. the attorney general sources are telling us as early as this weekend they can tell house and judiciary committee members information related to this. i don't think we'll see leaks over the weekend on this report. the department of justice had it this afternoon and we didn't hear about it until just before 5:00 when the letters went out. it's a very tight group, just judiciary committee who will get it. but in the next month or so we'll hear some details out of this report. liz: we'll stay on any breaking news out of the mueller report. the mueller report dropping late this afternoon. the white house slapped more sanctions on iran. iran's hardliners, we are hearing reports they are frantic because iran's economy is

natural disaster in our state's history is really the nuts and bolts of what is going on. there is a lot of scrambling and a lot of people stepping up. we had a lot of people come forward. there are a lot of folks who wanted to donate time, food, money, feed and hay. now the logistics to figure out how to get all those things to the people who need it. liz: this is america's farm table, this affects america's kitchen table. the flooding killed at least three people and caused billions in damage so far. what do you guys need? >> we are getting a decent network put together, organizations providing services, and doing outreach to those are governmental. some of those are non-profits.

so we have the nebraska farm bureau is doing one set of services that have to do more with individual farmers which is needed and appreciated in the nebraska cattlemen also have a foundation set up, and they are dealing mostly with hay and feed and emergency feed assistance. and a lot of us like our nebraska farmers union foundation and others are gathering resources to help support the work of the folks in the field. liz: 28 levees have been breached or damaged. do you need more help strengthening levees? >> i think the bulk of the head is down. so as far as right now, probably not. the infrastructure issue we are

short about 15 bridges that have to be repaired or replaced. we have 200 miles of road that needs to be fixed. we have 79 out of 93 counties have asked for a disaster declaration. what people might miss about this thing is we didn't have one river that was really having a bad flood event and set new records for all-time levels of flood stage, but we had five. plus a bunch of tributaries. in our lifetime we have never seen anything so broad-based and so severe, and so -- the struggle is on to plus territory resources to get it out to the folks who need it. a lot of times the small towns and rural folks don't get quite as much attention as the larger cities do when it comes time for some of these response efforts.

>> they can, but this is defense counseling 101. the best thing to do is refuse to voluntarily turnover any documents or information without some sort of a court order, at-this-point, i think that is the legal strategy of the white house. liz: the letter from white house to the committees, says they are sweeping requests, they include even ra trap tran scribed sit d. >> i would agree. i think that the white house taking a hard-line position to say they will not turnover anything in this regard. but i think they have the supreme court case law on their side at-this-point. perhaps they could try to work out some to be more in the middle of who they turnover.

but right now it seems they will not cooperate, that is a very common and perhaps prudence defense strategy. liz: your take on, all these committees, with the ways and means, are coordinating regularly between themselves over their probes to trump white house, and house judiciary is reportedly turning information over to mueller and u.s. tapper attorney in new york southern district, we know that mueller report will be made public when delivered to congress. what is your take in that? >> as for as the congressional investigations, this is going to point of is there going to be enough information to impeach. i think that is really where this is all leading. to extent they look into different avenues, that might get them there, that is what it seems like to me, in case mueller report does not deliver on a recommendation for an
