are you better off than you were four years ago? 2020 democrats are in panic mode over the economic boom. joe biden with wildly inaccurate attacks on the trump economy. >> did you get any benefit from the tax cuts? have your wages really gone up? do your employers treat you with any more respect and dignity than they did before? what is the story? ask the folks. ask the folks in this state. i know the state pretty well. the fact of the matter is that they are not getting their fair share. elizabeth: the fact of the matter is the majority of americans did get tax rate cuts. and wages did go up. the point of order, the median household income dropped under obama and joe biden. now the media also for months, wrongly predicting a trumpers session. today they just said 20 and 75,000 jobs created in april. far higher than estimates. 100 straight month of job creation. journeymanfrom -- joining me

now, congressman from georgia. >> anyone that does not recognize the economy is booming, new jobs in the private sector and unemploymen , the record lows that we are seeing.as you mentioned, 3.2 percent gdp this week. thousands of jobs being added. 5 million people coming off food stamps in the last two years. these are not the type of things that you see in a recession. these are the type of thing that you see in a booming, thriving economy. it is the policies of the president. >> i think is a game of who do you believe? me or your lying eyes? the u.s. is doing better than any other industrial nation in the world. we've got an expansion that is expected to last through july which would make it the longest on record. we record high readings of confidence from an millennials. new data coming in. a number of states, pennsylvania, colorado, minnesota, when -- wisconsin.

incomes are going up. >> i would add atlanta to that list. i have rural counties, for the first time ever, there have been major industries come to their counties. this is something that, joe biden is either massively disengaged from reality or he is deliberately trying to mislead the american people. the american people know that the economy is booming.they have more money in their pocket. elizabeth: i think the democrats are nervous. you have to ask yourself, what is joe biden's economic plan? we have union workers seeing pensions going up. many on 401(k)s and iras. -- the dow just had the best start since 1999. the nasdaq since 1991. the s&p 500 since 1987. >> and those are the type of things that are going to carry

the president through to the massive victory coming up in a couple of years because reality is reality and people are keeping more money in their pocket. it is the policies of the president. he has been masterfully cutting regulations which has enabled businesses to boom.and the tax cut bill coming along a side of that, it has created an incredible environment in which the free enterprise, the strongest economic engine in the world has been able to explode far beyond any expectations that the democrats -- elizabeth: republicans just need a health plan.they need that. we will have you back on to talk about that, congressman, jody hice. thank you for coming in. coming up, democrat critics up in arms over the presidents plan to ask congress for another 4 and a half billion dollars to solve the open border crisis. much of it going to monetary -- to humanitarian aid.

march. the numbers are bigger than they have ever been. we've been worried about that it is going to get worse and it has. liz: the white house asking congress for 4 1/2 billion dollars in money to help with the border crisis, three quarters of that is humanitarian. he's getting heavily criticized for that. >> which is amazing to me. this is humanitarian relief. not even for border security. a small percentage of it is for border security -- percentage of it is for border security. i don't know why anyone would oppose that. it is designed to take care of people. liz: we're always tracking the polls and what voters are thinking about this issue. washington post abc poll, more than a third of americans say that illegal immigration at the border is at a crisis, level. that's up 11 percentage points since january. and then percentage of democrats who agree with that, it jumps 7 percentage points to now a quarter of democrats say it is a crisis. >> yeah, i think slowly but surely people outside of the border states are realizing that this is a crisis and that if we

do not address it, it will only get worse, as it relates to, you know, human trafficking and smuggling and crime and just all the issues related to security. liz: 2020 democrats bernie sanders, kamala harris, cory booker all say it is a crisis. we had officials from the border with us talking about how for every state, it's a border crisis because this is happening -- it comes -- and the influx comes into their states including a lot of crime. that's what this official is saying. do you agree with that? >> that's absolutely true. transportation obviously allows for people to move. once they come into our state, they are not all going to stay in texas. they are going to move to other states. they will move drugs to other states and human trafficking to other states and some of the crime to the other states. this is a consequence in reality for the entire country. liz: ken paxton, attorney general, thank you very much for joining us, sir. we appreciate it. thank you very much for having us in your homes and thank you for watching. it's been a jam-packed show. we have more news for you tomorrow night. lou dobbs is next right here on the fox business network.
