>> great to be here. liz: do you think we will get a deal tomorrow? >> i do not think we will get a deal tomorrow. i don't know the chinese were thinking. they spent six months negotiating peer donald trump ready pushed back raising the tariffs. they were supposed to go into effect to repay the negotiate six months. they think they have a deal everything is written out and ready to go. then they come in and completely got it. it's amazing for the present will implement 25 percent tariffs. i think it will probably happen friday. liz: j.p. morgan they say 80 percent of the deal. we will see 24 percent leaving on tens of worth of consumer goods. do you think this is a down payment, a correct move by the president to do it right now? >> absolutely i think it's the right move. let's look at the map pretty starting $200 billion of products. 25 percent tariffs.

you are a job creator. >> liz, you know i've been called a lot of things but being a bad guy for being a job creator is not the right title for me. it is really unfortunate, i think this president, he brought together some policies and trade reform, tax reform. and this regulatory relief and he's doing amazing things for the economy particularly manufacturing. truly, if the president brought about world peace and solve world hunger single-handedly they still would not give him credit. it is an extension of never trump. liz: think tanks are picking up what we been catching. we sort of mainstream to the left, the brookings institute site rapid job growth, they've nearly doubled 2.6 percent last year from the year prior. and do you know what is interesting? democrat job creation not so state-of-the-art, manufacturing jobs now generational high. up four times under donald trump versus less 20 for much ofpresident obama was 's time

jobs, obama white house spent either more taxpayer money on a federal study that figured out what happened and it belly flops. outright failures. here is what the hell found. the study found the programs ineffective, did not raise earnings, offer no services for jobseekers or employers. that is what was going on inside the obama white house in terms of trying to create jobs. your take? >> yeah well, you can train but if there is no demand for the jobs what are you training for? i think that was the problem. the obama ministration missed the point of, you need to have the manpower and supply chains coming back here. we are a small manufacturer refuted big local supply chains. we watched for decades of supply chains went to asia. i think that is what joe biden and obama and many presidents before them missed.they were drinking the free-trade kool-aid and it was poison. we were watching the wealth creation and our growth and jobs go over to asia.

you can train people but train them for what when there is no demand for those jobs. so again, i think you know, mr. joe biden and missing the point when he says these things. and i think quite rightly, he's demonstrated he's pretty much been asleep at the wheel. he's claimed that china is not even a competitor of ours. it would be a tragedy to see him back in office. china wants to dominate the key industries in the world and not only of their increasing military spending, annexing territory in the south china seas. they are very much a competitor. liz: what's really interesting, you know the federal government puts a lot on the 41 states including increased medicaid spending under obama care. they got demolished under the obama policy. those with studies routinely show. but now they have recovered from the great recession. by the way, that recession ended five months after obama took office. again, the 41 states announcing record intake of income tax revenues. your take on that?

liz: iran human rights abuses. the u.s. now says they will not be held by the regime nuclear blackmail. there are reports of their threatening u.s. troops and if they threatened to pull out of the deal, was a reaction to all of what i just asked about? >> iran is no match. i think certainly to u.s. capability by the way, they were no match to israeli capabilities in syria. they have suffered heavily, not only in terms of material loss and they are terrorists and their soldiers but also in terms of i would say, reputation and in the middle east that have been rendered almost like a paper tiger.i do not think they will be moving head-on against the u.s. or not even israel. this is why they are using proxies. and they have been very good at using proxies.

let's go to venezuela. venezuelans are so desperate to flee the communist collapse they are they are making an illegal and dangerous tractor the desert. they are dealing with the rapid influx of tens of thousands of venezuelans. ellison barber has more. reporter: the un says this region has one of the highest concentrations per capita of venezuelan refugees and migrants.

this is a park where many venezuelan migrants are forced to sleep on the ground. often with their young children. you can see some of the kids behind me. but if you look up in the trio see cardboard and mattresses. all of this we are told by the people are essentially betting that they're keeping here so they can come back and sleep during the night. if we go a little more this week and see some people are sleeping and staying. we met one woman who was pregnant the says she's been sleeping out here with her other child. the people here said have no choice but to sleep here. they want to go back to venezuela. but they do not have workwear options there. migrants have been so far pretty pleased to see us and happy to talk. they want the us, the world to know their stories. the venezuelan police not so much. at a bridge earlier this week we saw police standing guard. they stand there every day. anytime we were within eyesight they pulled out a cell phone and filmed us. we of course film them.

it is so overwhelming and let me tell you something, this is not a manufactured crisis. i've been saying this and many of us on the republican side have been saying this for months and months. the president has been saying this but even some of the democrat colleagues can see this. it is proof, i can say that three of my democrat border representatives in congress have introduced a bill to mandate processing of asylum-seekers in their own countries. down in honduras and guatemala. because they know that if they come in, they get a free pass and an indefinite stay in the country. and it overwhelms these border counties. then they go on in and in my district, i am up in east texas, it takes in 1000 new students per year. most of which are the children of illegal immigrants.and so, we continue to medicate and educate and incarcerate these

democracy and to the constitution. elizabeth: joining me now is a member of the judiciary and oversight committees, congressman greg tube by. sir, great to see you. what's your take on those comments about not getting president trump reelected? >> well, the entire committee today was all about political grandstanding and political theater. we're not talking about securing our border or helping americans or helping floridians get better jobs or create jobs. all we're talking about is setting up the stage to impeach the president or try to make the president look bad or to now try to find a.g. barr in contempt of congress. it's all political theater aimed at the 2020 election. elizabeth: we're now over is 100 days into this congress, 16 laws enacted. that's half the rate of the previous congress. do they want to go into 2020 with that track record? >> not only that, they haven't produced a budget. the republican study committee
