application to get that warrant from the fisa court did not discloses who was funding that research. so no mention of any kind of bias. and we know it was bias, right because it was opposition research bought and paid for by the hillary clinton campaign. the fbi used that, never bothered to verify it, presented it to a judge as though it was their own research and got that warrant to spy an a on an ameri. i don't care what party you're in or which way you lean. i don't care how much you hate donald trump and love hillary clinton or vice versa. this is malpractice at best. malpractice on behalf of our very own fbi. i mean, think about it. we know that the fbi used unverified opposition research to get a fisa warrant. they never verified it, never authenticated it. they never even tried to.

mistake, it wasn't just incompetence or poor practice. it was part of a plot. it was part of a plot by the national security bureaucracy, the deep state under obama to prevent what they saw as the catastrophe of a donald trump prespresidency. once that happened, to actually try to undermine it. think about the utterly flimsy basis on which the whole russian collusion thing got going. and as a result of that we've had endless investigations, fbi investigations, congressional investigations and of course the massive weight of the mueller investigation. whereas on the other side, where there's far more suspicion, far more grounds for suspicion that there really was something bad going on. there's been nothing. i think half of the country who sees this going on will never think justice has been done until you have the equivalent investigation going on into all of the deep state actors. trish: they have to do it. it is the right thing to do for

trade war, another thing to win a trade war and we're on our way to winning. the relative performance of the u.s. stock market versus the chinese stock market says we're winning the trade war. and if our tariffs weren't a threat to them, they wouldn't come negotiator. we're holding a gun to their head and those guns are called tariffs. trish: he told me they're a kind of weapon and he loves them. i think that was the quote. he loves them. look. it's great to have economic weapons. i've always said we'd much rather lose dollars than lives. but in this case we're not losinlosing the dollars. don't forget, we're their number winumberone customer. we buy $500 billion plus every year. they buy less than 200 billion from us.

yeah, we take a $200 billion hit or less but who is in charge when they're the number one customer? >> let me explain. this is a little bit of econ geek stuff. i'm going to try. there's a theory in economics and that is when one country puts a tariff against the goods of another country, the currency of the other country goes down. and when the currency of another country goes down, that makes all of their goods and services look cheap to us. the reality is we have put on tariffs so far against china that koithat come out to a ratey year. it has been worth 44 billion to us. when trump says that china is paying the tariffs, i don't know if mexico is going to pay for the wall but china is paying these tariffs. trish: what you said is important because it also counters the argument from the left that oh any goodness, this is going to be a disaster because all of the americans that love to buy cheap stuff at walmart are not going to be able to do it anymore.

i went and i know where this restaurant is. it's in a nice area. the kind of place i would go. i looked at the restaurant, it looks delicious. why would they insult them? they just want a delicious meal and they don't need politics on the menu. what kind of craziness is this? >> it seems to be okay, right? it seems to be totally, people get a free pass. fair pickens if you dare support donald trump or have voted for him. if you dare to think maybe we should open our on top and welcome every tom, and harry from ramallah and ecuador and mexico into this country, i don't want to be here legally, somehow you are a really bad person and you deserve to be picked on and you deserve to be harassed? >> business has every right to make these calls and marketing decisions, the fact is that it's not a very savvy business situation to alienate half of your potential customers.
