great to see you. how far will lawmakers go? critics say these guys had it coming for some time. >> the politicians have to face the rule of law in this country. i think a lot of this is political grandstanding. there is a difference in anti-trust law between competitiveness and dominance. there is nothing against dominance. to of these companies dominate the market because they are better than their competitors. but others come into the market and start taking market share. they don't have a case for anti-trust. i don't think they do. we also have to -- i think it's political grandstanding. of course, no one likes the fact that google seems to have complete dominance over the

director and chief communications officer for fox corporation -- [inaudible] and former chief of staff to ex-white house counsel don mcgahn do not cooperate with congressional subpoenas. this comes one day after house majority leader, democrat steny hoyer, says democrats will vote next week on when to hold attorney general william barr and former white house counsel don mcgahn in contempt of congress. let's bring in republican congressman and member of the house judiciary committee, congressman ken buck. great to have you, sir. >> great to be with you. elizabeth: is there really going to be a contempt movement against don mcgahn and, you know, even wilbur ross and mr. barr? >> i think the democrats need to do something that their base is calling for. it's not justified, it's not the proper thing to do. the attorney general has reached out recently and talked about providing documents under

certain circumstances, but the democrats have to walk away from this contempt idea that they have and, hopefully, they will. elizabeth: where does this fight lead to? remember eric holder, obama's attorney general, was charged with contempt. it didn't go anywhere. is this not going to go anywhere? >> well, to put this in context, eric holder -- after 270 days -- was held in contempt for not turning over documents. the attorney general contempt proceeding was brought before the house judiciary committee after 10 days. significantly different, but i think it's very difficult to hold someone in contempt when you have to go through the court process. elizabeth: democrats keep going back and forth about impeachment, now they're talking about censoring president trump. your take on that. >> they want to embarrass him before the elections, but we have the mueller report, we have -- after almost two years'

investigation -- 20 prosecutors, 40 fbi agents, there was no collusion. and there is no chargeable, prosecutable obstruction of justice. elizabeth: congressman, where is the investigation into what was the clinton machine doing here? places like the hill publication saying hillary owes answers. the clinton machine, were they pressuring departments to go after the trump administration, any hearings on that? >> the democrats aren't planning any hearings, i hope that the attorney general's effort bears feud. fruit. i was part of a group that produced documents and triplets, and you're absolutely right, hillary clinton acted in a way and there were people at the highest levels of the fbi that

helped her in acting in a way that i believe violated the law. elizabeth: violated the law how? in what way? >> well, inappropriate -- [inaudible] improper and illegal for her to have classified material on her personal server. elizabeth: okay. >> and that e-mail issue, i think, is at the heart of what secretary clinton did wrong. elizabeth: quickly, i want to get your reaction to this exchange between chris matthews and pete buttigieg. >> mayor, i've got a follow-up. if you were voting in congress right now on impeachment, you would impeach? >> yes, i would. >> okay.
