what actually happened? >> we spoke to to of the agent in that facility. they are saying ocasio-cortez walked into that facility ready to wage war against border a parole agents. she was being abusive, threatening and disrespectful. she was being abusive. there is footage border patrol has in their possession to show the american people the abusive behavior. verbally abusive. she was getting into agents' face. she thought some of our agents were laughing at her and smirking and she went after them. our border patrol agents treat everybody with respect. as far as her claim thatting they tell them to drink out of the throw it? we give air yens bottled water.

use your words abusive to the agents themselves. have you heard this directly from some agents? >> of course. before i did an earlier show, that's exactly what they said. what's interesting i our border patrol agents have very high standards. we'll get in trouble if we do things we aren't supposed to. every allegation made against our agents is investigated by investigative agencies. trish: you smell blood here and you get jerry nadler calling for the heads of border patrol agencies to be criminally prosecuted for child abuse. and cory booker is vowing to end quote inhumane detention centers on day one if he's elected. let's just call a spade a spade here. these detention centers have been in existence since before

those three countries were working together in concert with each other to enter into financial deals with the iranians that did not include the dollar-driven financial system. and also establishing a monitoring system. it's been going on for months and they were til working on it as of just a couple weeks ago. trish: you talk about europe, are they company-figure? >> the the united kingdom, germany and france are the three culprits. and it has not worked so far. the other thing happening here is the iranians obviously disrupted the oil artery in the persian gulf, but they got caught at it. we have indisputable evidence that they and talked those ships. they shot down our drone and they got caught at it, the fact it was in international waters.

presidential reelection campaign blowing back the all-time record. a combined haul of $125 million in the second quarter of 2019. it has overtaken hillary clinton and barack obama by 10%. sanders and buttigieg have revealed their numbers and they pale in comparison to president trump. how do you explain this? why is he so far ahead in terms of fundraising? >> he's the incumbent, he's got air force one. there are a lot of reasons why.

but it's a little deceptive. i wouldn't be too cocky by the. 2016, jeb bush had the money going in but didn't get the nomination. hillary clinton had the money going into the general and didn't win the general. 1980, john connelly former governor of texas went into the cycle way ahead of everybody and got beat by ronald reagan. having the most of money doesn't guarantee you will necessarily win. trish: money is not everything, especially in places where i am from, little new hampshire, live free or die. there is a brand of retail politics that sells quite well there and is expected. the same kind of thing in iowa. money doesn't necessarily translate into success in places like that. but you combine the money with

the personality with the stadium, with the air time that makes it increasingly hard. this was his recipe for success. he didn't need to buy commercial time. >> you bring up a good point. in 2016 hillary clinton did outspend donald trump for most of of that election cycle and donald trump outworked hillary clinton by showing up all over the place. this isn't necessarily about money, but it's an impressive number. you mentioned both pete buttigieg and bernie sanders. they raised $25 million apiece. that's $50 million combined. there are 24 democrats running in the primary, only one president of the united states. so you could probably ascertain that the democratic donor base is getting sliced and diced all

up and down. one person is going to get that money. trish: when you look at the field. i point out, and i said this before the debates, that kamala harris had a certain charisma i thought translated from being purely -- this is the tv producer in me -- that translates to the cam are and translates to the american people. it's going to be tough to beat president trump because he has a charisma and a winning economy. can a bernie sanders or kamala harris or pete buttigieg win? who do you think is the most of in terms of personal giving the president a run for his money? >> i personally think kamala harris will win the nomination.

trish: isis ramping up threats against fourth of july hotpots like washington, d.c. while there are no known terror plots specifically, domestic terrorism has become more dangerous. but everyone should remain and stay alert, be vigilant throughout all festivities. joining me now, kt macfarland. i know it's almost routine unfortunately. we hear about these types of threats from isis around the holidays. but what's interesting is we are not just talking about isis possibly. but domestic terrorism.

walk me through what that might be and why we are concerned about that. >> in the first category, to a certain extent we are victims of our own success because we have been victorious over the islamic state. we have defeated isis in a lot of parts of the middle east. so the bad guys instead of staying in the middle east, they are encouraging people to come to the united states, go back to the countries they were originally from and encourage terrorist action. but the second kind is the domestic terrorist that could be any variety. usually it's people who have mental illnesses. the lone shooters in the schools, the parking lots and the malls and the offices. trish: wouldn't it be nice to enjoy these celebrations? i was at a local prayed recently

for memorial day. one of the things that truck me was this was a small town, and basically what you had was so many police out there there were bomb-sniffing dogs. that didn't exist when i was a kid. i used to go to our local memorial day parade and fourth of july parade. and i twirled the baton once in one of those parades. that was, you know, there wasser in any police for those concern. you weren't worried about terrorism domestic or isis or any other kind. what happened to our society? >> i think we ought to take a minute to reflect on what's right about all this. i'm the first person to criticize law enforcement or the military or intelligence community when they miss terrorist attacks and miss the

lone shooter and the boston bombers. but i think we ought to understand how far we have come since the able of terror began. the treasury department. we found where the money is going. we shut down large-scale complicated attacks by is program i can extremist terrorists. we increased the way we gather dirge tall intelligence. we have come to understand a whole new technology in intelligence because of our intelligence community. finally, law enforcement and the military, they learned to fight a new kind of war. it's not the world war ii version of war. this is a transnational and sub national threat. and they adapt and evolved. trish: i hear you. and we evolved along with these threats.

let me quickly ask you about one specific threat and that's iran. i know we have launched cyber attacks. the cyber attacks were quit significant. the first administration to unleash that ability of which we have much, much capability and much ability within that sphere. and he said we are unleashing that in a way that is very strategic combined with all the economic sanctions. at some point one would hope would bring iran to the bargaining table. but they have been so darn stubborn, kt. is it going to change? >> you have been good about reporting this and an liesing this. i don't think iran can go upon forever. their gdp has contracted. eventually the iranians are going to have to settle. and trump hold all the high

card. their economy is in real trouble. we don't need to protect the straits of hormuz to get our energy supplies. maybe our ally should step up and do more to contribute to that. but at the end of the day they won't be able to wait trump out. the iranians will have to settle in some form. the iranians, their thesis is he's not going to get another four years, so why should we do anything now? >> things have changed in the last couple weeks. even donald trump's cite you can say he has a good chance of being re-elected. at the end of the day, trump is going to negotiate with the iranians. so they will have to eventually come to a deal. >> i think you are right. by the way, democrats are not going to go back on that.
