and more accurate information. whatever it is. trish: how do you know? i know there are estimate saying 11 million here illegally. but how do we really know. the census isn't perfect either. what can you do that will get at that issue with a number that you say is correct. >> we know we'll get skewed inaccurate information from the kren suls itself. what we also know is we have tons of information from educational record, medical records, social security records, on and on and on. now all these federal agencies and departments giving those records for the purpose of discovering who is not only here

in our country, but who is here legally and who is here illegally. we'll get much more information and much more accurate information than could have been obtained from a mere census question. trish: do you think it's more than 11 million? >> we'll find out. i have my suspicions it will exceed that number. but we are going to find out. trish: the house judiciary committee is issuing subpoenas for people tied to mueller's report. congressman, your democratic colleagues seem to be grasping at straws. what are they possibly hoping, do you think, to find? >> i don't know for sure. but there is no question, the entire democratic party is in absolute disarray. they have been for the longest time looking for every haystack

he has no interest in a war with iran. trish: you know what iran wants. the president said the deal was lousy for the u.s. it was an all-around terrible deal, but it was a deal that had been made. but if you are iran, you say how will we know the next president of the united states won't tear up what we negotiated with president trump? >> iran is the number one state sponsor of terror. there was knowing in that deal that made them stop doing that. they have their rough can guards and special forces all the way in iraq on the jordanian border in syria, pressing up against israel. there has been no change in their behavior. trish: now we said deal is over.

but the president has been pretty generous in offering them an opportunity to sit down and spree negotiate something, and they continue to just thumb their noses. somewhat we have to understand is our duty is to protect the commerce coming through, the persian gulf and the strait there. the u.k. is right there. and iran seize an opportunity to create a wedge in nato or the e.u. this iranian deal is all about commerce for the european union. they were opening up huge markets in persia to sewer mean countries. it's an economic deal. trish: our companies couldn't invest. i have spoken to people who ran pretty big companies at the time, and they said they had to

>> it's not exactly a news headline that a democrat is a hypocrite because they do on so many issues all the time. this is a guy who presents himself as a regular blue collar guy. he hasn't been there for 40 years or so. he has been a fully paid up member of the swamp for decade. but there is a serious policy point. he along with all the other democrats attack president trump's tax cuts and republican tax cuts all the time. saying people should pay more tax. but what they reveal, just like most of other people, they want to keep more of what they earn. republicans understand that instinct. and the democrats by their actions so they understand it. but when it comes to policy it's all out the window. >> it's like they are trying to
