we hope you will join us. follow me on twitter @loudobbs and facebook and instagram @loudobbstonight. president trump: i hear it from other frankly presidents and prime ministers and kings and queens. they all say they want to come back to the united states. we are the hottest economy in the world, we are the hottest place in the world. trish: aren't we. americans feel confident about our booming economy. find out who they give the credit to. meanwhile, despite fantastic economic numbers, the left seems fixated on taking down president trump with impeachment. kevin mccarthy is blasting the

resist movement. >> why would you bring up impeachment after yesterday's hearing? that should be put to bed. that's over. we watched it. we heard it. we read it. what more can you make up? >> far left fresh heman congresswoman ilhan omar calling president trump a racist, a threat to democracy and a demagogue. this coming from a woman who has said some pretty anti-semitic things herself. former miss michigan is here with her story later this hour. "trish regan primetime" begins next. tonight democrats are looking at a very divided party and a divided house because many want to impeach this president.
8:02 pm
speaker pelosi is looking to block the party from a mission that will fail. but democrats are pushing ahead even after learning nothing from the mueller hearing. some say the hearings strengthened their case. >> the responsibility of the congress of the united states of america when a president breaks the law is to bring impeachment charges. there are 10 clear accept a rat don't of obstruction of justice. >> i think they are impeachable offenses and the president should be charged for them. >> the president did everything i could to obstruct the mueller investigation. the house should begin impeachment proceedings against the president. >> this cannot go on. it's up to congress to safeguard
8:03 pm
the constitution and we'll do it. trish: what about safe guarding the rights and privacy of americans. let's not forget why this mueller investigation actually happened. think about the politics involved when you have members of the fbi going to secret courts to get secret warrant to spy secretly on americans who just dare to work for the trump campaign. this is what the democrats want to focus on. impeachment. the democrats want to be known for that going into 2020 when the economy is stronger than ever and americans approve of everything the president is doing and the economy.

economy. this is their strategy? how is that going to work. >> thank you for letting me come back on. what else can it be? they can't run on the economy. you have an historical low unemployment. there is more jobs out there that are available than there is people in unemployment lines. so what are they going to run on? they can't run on his policy. at the end of the day all they have is to go after this. it started with collusion. so now it's obstruction. the mueller report came out. it doesn't have a clear picture of obstruction. now they are dug in and the only thing they can do is try to impeach the president. what else do they have? trish: they have socialism. >> you can always go back to
8:05 pm
that. trish: i'll tell you something. you are talking to a red blood american capitalist. you know around the world and see how many places and how many times it failed. trish: one of the reasons bernie sanders was successful is he was preaching to a choir who wanted something different. they wanted something to vote for, not something to vote against. i don't buy socialism, i think it's the worst recipe for an economy you can encounter, but at least it's something policy-wise. >> i could compare this to the hoik. when we went into this mueller hearing everybody had their mind made un. i don't think the mueller report changed anybody's mind.
8:06 pm
the more we debate socialism, the more the people start realizing they don't like it which is why our new studies and reports are coming out saying the majority of the american people like donald trump's economy. it's been effective for them. there are jobs and the pay raises go with it. they are bringing home more money now. there is no place for them to run unless they dig in with socialism. how are you going to compare that or are you going to paint him as a criminal with no evidence to back it up. trish: you know what stuns me about yesterday's hearing. the lack of knowledge that robert mueller seemed to have about the everyday facts we go into a case. corey lewandowski who was the 206 campaign manager, mueller
