a moment ago, elizabeth warren talking about the el paso shooting and blaming donald trump for it. given that the man who shot up dayton, ohio was a fan of hers and repeatedly praised her is not something you think she would -- you think you have shame of whether to do it. but there is a bipartisan rush to do something, to have the government do something whenever something like this occurs. and so you've heard people call for universal background checks or red flag laws. universal background checks would not have changed anything about either the shootings. it's an interesting path that people are choosing but people who care about the right to self-defense protected in the second amendment, people are right to be worried that this might not go well for them because the president has himself not been very good on this issue. people accuse him of doing unconstitutional things all the time and they are wrong.but when he used a regulation to redefine the laws, to make it so that bump stock sort illegally was blatantly
