>> you never sleep. abby, good to see you. you can watch me every weeknight at 5:00 p.m. eastern, i promise i will not be sleeping, i will host my show "bulls & bears" on fox business. kennedy is right now. kennedy: i love "bulls & bears", goaso good to see you. the death toll from hurricane dorian, up to 20 as the storm continues to swirl up the southeastern coast of the united states. it is still a category 2 with winds at 110 miles per hour, forecasters say it's on a collision course with south carolina and north carolina and possibly even virginia. we are told the real worry is flooding, heavy rains in a massive storm surge with the low-lying areas. we will have a live report on the storm and moments post more on the devastation in the bahamas. first up, there are potentially explosive new developments in

the disgusting jeffrey epstein case, it is very much still ongoing. we learned the hundred other people could still be able gated this is according to lawyers with the dead child rapist, maxwell as he repeatedly killed himself in a manhattan jail so last month, his death is still a mystery and they have not stopped. while in legal troubles are now over, they may be just beginning for everybody else in his orbit, this morning at along with lawyers with one of his accusers, that is where we learned the hundreds of names are still sealed in thousands of pages of court documents. one person said john doe has been big and the judge not to release the names out of fear it will ruin his reputation. it also appears the judge may release those names anyway. that is when things are really going to get interesting. here is why, is entered the case

partner, mark hunter michael star hawkins and tyler grant, welcome everyone. let's talk a little bit about what happened today in court, there are very nervous people, did we realize that there could be hundreds of nervous people out there? >> is seems like there will be hundreds of nervous people and it seems like people are going to be able to recover whether or not justice and having their day in court, they will be able to recover a lot of money and damages. two days before he signed the will to push all his money into a trust and thankfully based upon the way the trust file works, look like victims will have access to their money. >> he also filed in the virgin islands which could complicate things. >> it might have people take a flight down there to get to the money but they will get to the money. >> there's worse places have to go.

kennedy: lawyers are always able to find the money. >> more important, we need to expose everybody involved. kennedy: i would ask you something particularly as a defense attorney, i was talking to a physician that said i used to treat jeffrey epstein, i did not know anything about this. how interesting, this could be somebody who is in his phone. many of the names could be people who were incidentally acquainted with him. should those people have their names and the reputations revealed? >> if you have nothing to hide, the best way to deal with this is transparency. kennedy: what if you did nothing wrong and on a list of people who did the worst things on the plane approveplanet. >> him after family, phone number even though you have nothing to hide because the immature internet sluice in your name is on the list. >> your doctor in a phone book, then you have nothing to really worry about.

but if you are some of the people who help transport the women, traffic them, poach some of them, absolutely, we need to find answers, who is doing it, careers should be ruined. kennedy: that's one of the most important things, a lot of the people involved in this and the people who were procuring the young vulnerable women were other women. and now they have been named as co-conspirators. >> and named as co-conspirators and we will not understand the level of complicit of that sort. like you exactly did what under what circumstances and what directions and what level of knowledge and what he was doing. the responsible he has to fall on the media, and that has to be a way to do this in the court that is fair to everybody involved. there will be people advocated, that's part of the process. the allegation in the scope of them is massive. kennedy: that is one of the reasons that this case is not going away. >> absolutely not.

it seems like the federal judges looking into the case, i think she laughed at allen's attorney when she said we will get this document out and discern what is important and what they need to see what they don't. yet understand, as clerk, she is other senses that will help her and go through the information and curate it and wait. all parties. we should not forget when they put all the information out there and reporters are trying to figure out what is going on, the news action push that and what this case is about versus what the prosecutors in high powerful people were tied to secure what was going on with epstein's. >> he took the plea deal and tried to spend time and prison still abusing young woman the entire time. the multiple failures on 70 different levels, there is so much to answer for. in the judge is also very frustrated. you have strange parties, the

lawyers for maxwell as well as one of the accusers and they said we need more time, no, i am not giving you more time, the public needs to know and the victims need judges. >> this case will not go away because he's dead, this is being charged as a conspiracy, they don't need him for the furtherance of the conspiracy by looking at maxwell and the other people. kennedy: if your max was attorney what do you do? >> your try to talk to the u.s. to kearny and put it on everybody else. >> that you think they did that the whole time and had a black male system or systems? -- is that what they're doing? >> i don't think it's an accident she is walking around while epstein was behind bars. i would expect there some participation.

kennedy: i think that explains of the public will be deeply skeptical and it will play out in fair to the victims. people that are powerful in this very case, and this very case for people who are powerful how privileged in the way that justice has been rendered. kennedy: you are right, not just epstein, the denials are running pretty thin. we will see the panel and just a little bit. first up, hurricane dorian turning off the coast of georgia blasting the southeast with high winds, heavy rain and huge waves, a potentially devastating form search as i told you earlier it is category 2 expected to maintain that strength when it makes landfall in the u.s., it is hard to say what exactly is going to happen then, it is looking more and more like charleston will get hit tomorrow and then will slide to north carolina and outer

banks and folks in that neck of the woods are hunkering down or evacuating inland and as always the wind is only half of it we are expecting dangerous flooding. back in the bahamas still getting new images of the heartbreaking destruction, entire town and vigilan villagey destroyed. 20 people confirmed dead but emergency responders say they expect that to rise dramatically. take a look at the before and after satellite images. it is unbelievable, the grand bahama island before the storm and there you go, on the right, you see much of the island underwater. here with the latest from atlantic beach florida, fox news correspondent jeff. reporter: you hit on the head, the storm is been so

unpredictable, at one point it was a category 5 and now to category 2, it doesn't diminish how dangerous the storm can be. here in florida the storm is pushing its way north towards georgia and the carolinas. we are still getting rain and every once in a while you'll get a really strong gust of wind and you can see it from some of the grass over here, near the waves, you can hear crashing against the beach, probably not the safest place to be, a few blocks from us there had to be a water rescue because people, now that the storm has passed are coming out to see exactly what it did to the beach, getting too close to the water without realizing that the waves are still very strong. if you talk to anyone in town they feel very fortunate that the storm stayed well out in the ocean and now pretty much move past florida. kennedy: we heard reports that people in that part of florida are not evacuating and they are kind of partying. reporter: you hear about the occasional hurricane party happening, some of the people boarded up businesses and a have anywhere else to go so they

stock up on a bunch of food, snacks and in some cases, beer and wine, and they hang out and ride out the storm in some of the people have been through countless storms, they were naming storms i do not know existed in some of the people we talked on the beach, that's what they do, they righted out, when you don't have work in your home is boarded up, you have to sit there and party it out. kennedy: when life gives you hurricane, make a hurricane. tell me about what is happening in the bahamas. these pictures are absolutely brutal. we are just getting them in today. reporter: this is the heart breaking part of the story, this is a category 5 when it came through here. and you listen to some of the people who live through this. they say, this had to be a category eight, that's what it felt like to them. if there could be a bigger than a category 5, that's what it felt like to them. at one point to hundred 20 mile-per-hour wind gusts, 185 miles per hour sustained

winds, and that storm sat on top of the bahamas, we are hearing about seven dead but emergency officials say that number will go up as research and recovery will continue. a lot of people taken the time to go over there and help these people, listen to how one man described the acts of generosity. >> incredible, the amount of outreach they have given us. so many people are trained to help, 20 - 30 people have offered so much, were all wearing the same close we escaped and so it's really good to get support in no you can rebuild. reporter: the people in the carolinas and georgia closely watching the storm to see what it does next.

it doesn't make much sense throughout. if you look what happened in the storm, dorian and what it did to the bahamas, and when you look at super storm sandy we have a problem on how we do a carbon emission and how we assure the country looks good for generations and generations to come. kennedy: if we had no carbon and we had net-zero emissions, would we no longer have hurricanes? >> the problem is the size of the hurricanes, how big they are, we never seen hurricane this big or devastating. sandy, we've never seen hurricane come all the way up to new york before. we're dealing with climate change happening all across the country. kennedy: we had several category 5 hurricanes in florida alone. >> we have not seen sandy in new york in almost any time in american history, beyond that, yet people who love on barrier islands. kennedy: storms are bad, i don't

doubt that. >> is a sealevel rise. kennedy: peter you want to take that? >> i grew up in court in the panhandle and i survived many, many hurricanes, either hitting my house or near me. also north carolina 300 miles inland, in the 1980s, it's been around for a while and it will continue regardless of what happens with the democrat climate change played here's the thing about the plans, there almost all fantasy plans, they will not happen. you look at kamala harris land, it is a typical plan and it's really endemic of what democrats want to do. it's $10 trillion. obamacare cost less then a trillion dollars because democrats, not republicans, democrats bulk at a 1 trillion-dollar price tag, these are so incredibly expensive that they have so little chance of getting through congress. kennedy: it's interesting, there is only one candidate who has a way to pay for her plan, that is elizabeth warren and hers is a

2 trillion-dollar plan and it's funny when $2 trillion seems like a low number. she is only one who had any independent economic testing of her proposal and also wants to increase the corporate tax by 7% in order to pay for, how does bernie sanders, how will he pay for the 16 trillion-dollar plan? >> the same way he will pay for the 32 trillion-dollar medicare for all plan, will figure it out later, it went it didn't work, that's what they did in vermont and they failed because of it. it's telling that democrats seem to want, outbid each other on a lot of these plans. the actual point of the plans is not to produce something that will pass in congress. is to do something that will get them -- >> let's take the money out and talk about the realities that every global says they are

globawarming and real impact. kennedy: the computer does not speak that. >> it is real, man-made, and we need to think about what to do about it -- >> elise democrats are proposing solutions at minimum slowing the rate. kennedy: there's no republican who proposed a solution? >> i have not seen one from this president. kennedy: matt gaetz? >> if you talk to donald trump he says it's not real it's fake news. >> president trump is wrong about that, but would, but harris is out there proposing a 10 trillion-dollar plan. >> you disagree with all these plans give me a solution that works for you. >> fracking is an economic boom and probably going to end up being part of the solution. that is really what we need to

three months of violent protest involving over 1 million people, hong kong's leader announcing she is canceling the extradition bill with china that originally sparked operating. she said she is doing it for public concern. protesters care more about the extradition bill now, they are pushing for universal voting rights in a real democracy. this comes as the chinese government filter and a military invasion. what is next for hong kong and what are america's options if beijing plays hardball. joining me with the latest, at the heritage foundation in the asians study center, welcome back. >> thank you so much for having me back. kennedy: the extradition law has been scrapped. but the protesters say that is not enough. what else do they want?

>> i think protesters should see the withdrawal of the extradition bill as a huge victory. this was brought many millions of people to the streets and why we had protest for such a long time, this is a huge victory and one that should be favored. there is legitimate demands that continue to be on the table one of which to investigate into the police brutality that has taken place in the midst of the protest. i think it'll be interesting to see whether or not these protests do end up dying down, they may not be necessary for protest to continue in order to get an investigation like that. either way this is an incredibly positive step where hong kong authorities are demonstrating they will be responsive when the people come out and say we demand freedom and we need

freedom now. hopefully this represents a positive turn. kennedy: it could represent a positive turn for mainland china, i don't know if i'm naïve to think that will happen, that certainly would be nice. carrie lam who is the executive director in hong kong, she is trying to have it both ways, what do you think her future hold? >> protesters have certainly and calling for her to step down, she has said she is not willing to step down at this point and allegedly she said she served two masters, the hong kong authority and beijing, she's an unenviable position, it took her far too long to withdraw this bill. imagine if this bill had withdrawn three months ago. we would not have seen the ongoing protest and seen the violence that unfortunately has taken place. in fairness, protest have been largely peaceful and i think
