how many people are running businesses from their mobile phones. how many people are in the gig economy. it gets harder and harder to define economic activity. what is gdp in the world like that when things like wikipedia are free. how do you count the labor of the people to contribute to wikipedia. liz: you made the point that when you have the jobless rate down so low and wages continuing to go up. >> let's not just even use the r word. we saw today an increase in average hourly earnings at a high level we haven't seen for a year. that's the kind of pricing power for labor that's consistent with a booming economy. in a recession first thing that happens is you get your wages cut, then the next thing that happens is you lose your job. you know what's happening about what's going on with china.
