vindicated the president. driven by hate and lust for power, the left seems to be declaring they will hold a fast-paced impeachment hearing of the president. the only crimes are those of the radical dimms and the deep state, it appears. that also is the case in their so-called inquiry. what crime do they claim the president committed? not a single citation of a law broken, a statute violated. only their breathless praying of fantastical reasons they cite to remove the president. as lawmakers leave washington for a two-week recess in the midst of high dram al and dunn -- high drama schiff says

he will stay behind. schiff already joining with the heads of foreign affairs and oversight committees to subpoena secretary of state mike pompeo seeking documents related to ukraine. all this as president trump tears into the party of hate defending his call with the ukrainian president, demanding at the same time the resignation of adam schiff. president trump released a new campaign ad targeting the corruption of the former vice president joe biden. >> promised ukraine a billion dollars if they fired the prosecutor investigating his son's company. >> if the prosecutor isn't fired, you are not getting the money. on of a [bleep] he got fired. >> the democrats want to impeach the president and their media lap dogs fall in line. they lost the election. now they want to steal this one.

radical left's latest attempt to undermine the president's of donald trump. "washington post" running this headline that reads as you see here. new poll shows limited support for removing trump from office. actually it's quite misleading. that's the results of the poll. 37% with limited support. it should have been overwhelming support for the president against impeachment. they claimed there would be 8 mentions of bind in the telephone call between president trump and you krainl president zelensky. and there were only three. by the way there were no threats and the testimony of the

president of ukraine saying there were none. the media claimed there was a quid pro quo. a theory debunked by the transcript of that call. the radical dimms parroted the hear it in tough into an impeachment inquiry. but without taking a voaflt any kind and without having seen the most of basic facts, i.e., the transcript of that call between zelensky and president trump. house speaker pelosi quoted this latest conspiracy theory. >> two wrongs do not make a right. the president will have to answer that. they know how wrong it is. we know as we saw with the russia interference. i think russia has a hand in this, by the way. lou: it's impressive.

about a two-year investigation of collusion with russia. a report by the special counsel vindicating the president, and she wants to add to one fiction, that there was anything improper with the call with zelensky, but somehow there was influence of the russians. the dimms clearly aren't over russia. despite the special counsel finding of no collusion. they are peddling the so-called whistleblower's cover up as fact but there was no crime. since when does a cia officer planted in the white house become a which the blower. and why are there no whistleblowers involved in democrat scandals. isn't that odd? benghazi. the email scandal, fast and furious. the list goes on. all of these questions need to

that happened so mysteriously just before that complaint was filed. >> that's right. what we learned from this today's reporting from a couple different sources, the form used to require as recently as a month ago and last year. the complaint be first-hand knowledge, in a number of other obligations. it can't be differences of policy. it has to be specific criteria. it doesn't cover the president, it only covers with happens in the intelligence community. the new form which is published on the website of the dni for whistleblowers. it's marked august 2019. it has eliminated that first-hand knowledge requirement. and you see that reflected in the current complaint. it's full of second-hand, press

meeting is they want to shove a lot of money into china's markets. that will undercut president trump's attempts on the tariffs and the so-called trade war to protect u.s. intellectual property. these are the same people who in the middle of the mid-term elections. they go to beijing at beijing's demand and beijing is trying to undermine the president in the elections. lou: we talk about russian meddling in our elections. but china was having a far more effective effort at it and in fact arguably succeeding. there is also news today on capital flows. the president ordered a review on how to cut down capital flows to china from the united states. how significant in your judgment

would that be? >> this is critical. china right now with a crumbling economy with a lot of debt-burdened companies needs money. the goal is to prevent the chinese from getting that cash which they will use to strengthen their military which they can then use to fight the united states. if there is no cash there is no communism. one of the things about this, a lot of those chinese companies listed on u.s. exchanges are in the providing information to u.s. investors. lou: the president very busy this week at the united nations. this the president of the united states on china. president trump: not on has china refused to adopt reforms, it embraced an economic model dependent object massive market barriers, heavy state subsidies, currency manipulation, product

dumping, forced technology transfers and the theft of intellectual property. lou: we have corporate america and wall street firms, the largest commercial banks lining up against the president on using tariffs to stop the deficits and stop forced transfers. the theft our technology to the tune of half a trillion dollars a year. how can we -- how can we tolerate that kind of anti-u.s. interest behavior on the part of the wealthiest corporations in the country. >> the important thing is our country is under sustained attack by a malicious and militant state. you have a lot of americans, by china, by the communist super state -- now you have guys in beijing undermining our efforts. they are going after our intellectual property which is

the core of the american economy. if we don't have this innovation economy, we are lost. lou: the fact is we can't afford -- i heard a number of people say, you know, it's just the way chinese are. it's their culture. they steal. and act like it's a way to save face to allow them to steal a half trillion dollars a year. then they come back from china, these executives to sustain the interest of china, not the united states and its policies. they are regularring this president to -- they are begging this president to put forward controls on capital flows and stop them to china. >> i talked to dr. michael pillsbury today. he pointed out something i didn't realize. that is the overwhelming difficult members of capital in

the gdp of china. as i recall, we are talking about maybe 4% of their economy in exports. we are talking about half the economy when we tart talking about stopping the flows of capital or their access to u.s. markets. it will be quite a different stage in the trade war if that comes to pass. >> this is more than just a trade war. this is an economic war and china is trying to use our own money against us. chambers of commerce. and it was important for the president to call this out on the stage in front of the u.n. general assembly saying china's economic model is not only predatory, but criminal. >> it hooks like it will be a -- it looks like it will be a difficult and long battle. because battle it is.

prospect is like adding matches to several buckets of gasoline. joining us, the pastor of the first baptist church of dallas. let's start with prayer, about we may, before and after football games. freedom from religion. is that the way the first amendment reads? >> there is nothing about a freedom from religion but there is everybody about the freedom of religious expression. for the first 150 years of our nation's history, prayer in public, bible reading in school, all these things were encouraged by the courts. but starting in 1962 there was a rabid move to remove prayer and bible reading and faith display from the public schools and the public square. did the constitution change and nobody tell us? no, what changed is we allowed

liberal judges to pervert the constitution and first amendment into something the founders never intended. the establishment clause says you can't establish a state church. it says nothing about prayers before football games. this is why what president trump is doing is important. he appointed 150 federal judges who will interpret the law by what the constitution actually says and not by what liberals wish it says. lou: now we've have the pope bashing conservative christians. i don't understand what's going on here. i know christians are not a monolithic bunch. but someone should send an emissary to the vatican. >> what he said in this private meeting was if you don't subscribe to open borders and the climate change hysteria you are not a veal christian.

that is so foolish it's hardly worth even a discussion. lou: it's further divide between catholic church at least. and the rest of this country. let's turn to if you will, the politics right now in the country of impeachment, and i have to say, i don't hear a lot of reaction yet. it's early days. but how will christians and evangelicals in those churches react? >> lou, i heard lots of reaction. i have been traveling the country since i saw you monday night. i have spoken to thousands of christians. and i am going to tell you i have never seen christians as angry about anything as they are about the attempt to remove this president from office. they know the only impeachable

offense he committed was beating hillary clinton in 2016. that the unpardonable sin for which the democrats will never forgive him. i was speaking to thousands of christians at a convention center in tennessee. and i said i don't like what democrats are doing to my friend president trump. but i really don't like what is going to happen to this nation if the dems and rinos succeed in removing him from office. he's the most of pro judiciary president we have had in history. if he's removed, this country is finished. it's time for christians to stand up and say we are as mad as h-e-ll. and we are not going to stand this any longer.
