that doesn't bode well for the former vice president. >> sure, and his campaign is definitely reevaluating things making decisions in a lot of these early primary states that have to do with staffing and their ground game making sure her shoring up support among constituency to support joe biden but i do think that he has been able to make the case so far. just based on his polling in matchup polls that we've seen against president trump, one of which is the wisconsin poll that you just referenced earlier that he's the most elect public include candidate and that is going to resonate with a lot of voters who is may be right now are not registering in democratic primary polls. >> let's talk about that wisconsin poll a little bit more, trump barely won this state but he was first really to win wisconsin. since 1984 can he keep it is another question and we have trade talks going on in washington this week searching for a trade deal with beijing. the tariffs impact on folks in

wisconsin 47% say those tariffses are hurting their economy. how does president trump answer to those voterses in their concern? >> it is a valid question look if i was donald trump campaign manager right now and seeing numbers in wisconsin i would be alarm ad. because it is not just the president approval ratings in that state that is caused for concern. it is also as you mention the way that voters in the state view his policy. is they're not a big fan of the trade war, of course, because it is impacting rule part of wisconsin and a lot of farmers who are concentrated in that state. they're not a fan of what has been happening with the economy they're not a fan of what has been happening on trade . and so i do think that you need to look care flier about the poll and , of course, take into account there are always going to be sort of silent trump volters that won't show up in these polls. which mean that the margin there including that matchup between president trump and joe biden is probably slim per than what we're seeing. but at the same time, his support in wisconsin has
