and a quarter, nasdaq up 42 and-a-half. lauren: china is higher by half a percent today. cheryl: taking a look at europe, you never know what's going to happen in london. right now, it's good news. the ftse in london is up three quarters of a percent, the cac is higher, as is the dax in germany. lauren: a sea of green. we start with this, a stunning vellestunningdevelopment and mc, the company's ceo fired. shares are down 2% in premarket trading, they're on track to shave 28 28 points off the dow jones. cheryl: big story. let's get the story. >> reporter: mcdonald's corp. announced the immediate ousting of steve easter brook. this comes after officials say he violated company poll sigh by entering into -- policy by intreenteringinto a relationshin

employee. the board of directors conducted a review of the violation before voting on his removal. in a statement they say his decision of to conduct this relationship demonstrated poor judgment. easterbrook said, quote, given the values of the company, i agree with the board that it is time for me to move on. easterbrook served at ceo since 2015. corporate announcing the former president of mcdonald's usa, kim kemshinski will immediately take over as the ceo. mcdonald's saying, quote, chris takes the reigns of this great company at a time of this company at a time of strong performance. officials are set to release details of the separation package monday. the company recently reporting a 2% drop in net income for the third quarter, saying the change in leadership is not linked to

the company's financial standing. in new york, mike piazza, fox news. lauren: thank you very much. cheryl: underarmor under federal investigation this morning. the company says the securities and exchange commission and the justice department are looking into its accounting practices for the last two years. the inquiry focusing on whether they moved sales from one quarter to another to make its results look stronger. company is denying any wrong-doing. the ceo announced his resignation last month of. underarmor will report the latest results before the opening bell. earnings expected to fall 26s from a year ago. look at that stock in the premarket, folks. it's down over 16% right now. cheryl: wow. and more red ink is expected for uber when it profits earnings after the closing bell today. investors will be looking for comments on the uber eats department.

the company's ceo suggested the food delivery bubble has burst. we'll have the breaking news on the earnings report when the numbers cross later today. cheryl: green arrows for the dow now. you never know what will happen for the open. a fox business alert for you. he three people are in critical condition in hong kong as protests turned very violent on sunday. a knife-wielding assailant slashed several people that were protesting in a mall and bit part of a pro-democracy politician's ear. hospital officials say they were treating a total of 30 injuries related to the protests. it's been 145 days since large scale protests began and protesters are planning more demonstrations. they're demanding an independent inquiry into police behavior and universeal sufficien sufferage. lauren: progress is being made in the trade talks between the u.s. and china. president trump says the deal will be signed in the united

states. >> first, i want to get the deal. the meeting place to me is going to be pretty easy. but first we'll see if we get the deal. and if we get the deal, the meeting place will come very easily. it will be some place in the u.s. lauren: other countries in asia expressing a desire to transcend regional conflicts with china. they want a final deal by the end of the year between the 10 members of the association of southeast asian nations. cheryl: isn'.cheryl: secretars says the united states may not seek to impose tariffs after he delaying the decision last may. it would have affected cars and parts that are made in europe. ross cited recent negotiations with individual companies in the sector as the main reason. and let's stay with this. airlines are making plans to bring the boeing 737 max back into service. first, they need to shore up customer confidence. they want to reassure travelers

the planes are safe and they plan to conduct test flights with senior company officials to send the message out. boeing says they hope regulators will approve new pilot training plans in the next few weeks. the troubles for the boeing 737 max, lauren, continuing. lauren: absolutely. let's talk about the troubles for the white house. because several white house officials expected to skip this week's impeachment testimony as democrats prepare for the next phase of their inquiry. this, as the whistleblower who sparked the inquiry offers to answer house republican questions. cheryl: griff jenkins joins us live from washington. you're smiling now, griff. it's early, monday, how are you, sir? >> reporter: good morning. i'm smiling because it's going to be a busy week again on the impeachment front. nearly a dozen new witnesses are being summoned to the hill but the whistleblower who sparked the inquiry is not among them. an attorney for the whistleblower is offering to answer questions from democrats and republicans tweeting they would do so, quote, in writing

under oath in penalty of perjury. that may not be enough for gop leaders. jim jordan appears to be rejecting that offer. and devin nunes is not commenting. the president presiden wants the whistleblower to come forward. >> the whistleblower should be revealed because the whistleblower gave false stories. some people would call it a fraud. i won't go that far. but when i read it closely, i probably would. but the whistleblower should be revealed. >> reporter: this as the public is about to see more of what has transpired behind closed doors. democrat leaders say it's their intention to begin releasing transcripts very soon. >> you now we passed a resolution, says we're going to move to a public hearing where all the transcripts, all the depositions are going to be made

known to the president and to the members of congress. >> when do public hearings begin? >> i think relatively soon. >> reporter: you have 11 more closed door depositions schedule's this week, four are today, unclear who will show. most are not expected to come willingly. among them, john bolton, who said he will not come voluntarily. we'll see whether or not energy sector rick perry, the first cabinet member asked to testify, we'll see if he shows up or not. lauren, cheryl. cheryl: griff, thank you. it is going to be the biggest, maybe the hottest -- i say maybe the hottest ipo of the year, saudi aramco officially launched its initial public offering. lauren: the listing finally getting the go-ahead. tracee carrasco has the details. tracee: it's expected to be the world's largest ever stock sale, even as questions remain over the company's value. the oil company hopes to sell shares first on saudi arabia's

only pay for what you need. ♪ liberty. liberty. liberty. liberty. ♪ lauren: the dow industrials less than 12 points from a record close after the s&p 500 set three records last week and the nasdaq set a fresh closing high on friday. can the streak continue in november? we ask david nelson, chief strategist. november is historically a great month for the stock market. we're still going up, i guess. >> for the moment. look, you had a really monster jobs number on friday. it just points to the resilience of the economy. just about everybody that wants a job has one. that will play well going into next year. it's a big calling card for the president. i think he understands that where the market is a year from today is going to weigh very heavily on his re-election bid. lauren: absolutely. however, so you say that the endurance of the stock market continues, that does bode well for president trump.

>> absolutely. has to. lauren: however, if a democrat comes into office, goldman sachs is saying the likelihood that any of the top contenders they'd likely cancel the corporate tax cut of president trump and that goldman says is really going to destroy -- >> that's a 20, 25% hit on the stock market. lauren: and the economy. >> i'm not sure that the tax agenda for the democrats is going to really play well with the american public, when they really start to vet it and see what's behind it. like senator warren's medicare for all, it's based on assumptions that just won't hold. i think think tanks and analysts will tear this apart and she'll have a lot trouble on th the destage with this. lauren: it's not just bernie sanders and elizabeth warren, it's even canceling the corporate tax cut could harm the economy. >> it would put is back to where we were a you few years ago and companies were leaving the united states in droves. there will be four, five, six, seven, eight trillion dollars

is more important than finances. steve easterbrook brought in all-day breakfast for mcdonald's, delivery, things that really sent the stock soaring. >> this is a so consensual relationship. i find it tragic. this is the world we live in today. this is where corporations have gone, corporate culture has changed. a lot of boards have put in rules like this. steven easterbrook put out an e-mail to his employees, saying he made a mistake and he will exit the company. the stock will be down. the he knee jerk reaction is to sell the stock. it's not an operational issue. a veteran is stepping in and i'm sure he'll shepherd the company very well. cheryl: we've been talking about earnings and stocks and market and mc mcdonald's could e a drag on markets. right now, the dow is up 115, s&p is up 15, nasdaq is up 50. we've had record closes for the

app, tiktok that is owned by a chinese company. let's bring in brett larson from fox news headlines, 24/7. this is a very popular app among young kids. i was at a kids' birthday party yesterday and they were all using it. >> when you hear about a social media app, you think facebook probably owns this. this is one instance where facebook doesn't own the app. it's owned by a chinese company. there are concerns about this. because when things are owned by china, theitchinese government s overseeing everything that the company does. we know how the chinese government thinks, they're communist. the concern is are had they censoring content? and are they allowing different content in that maybe is a different ideology than we would have here in the states. parents should always be aware of what apps their kids are using, what information they're providing to these service providers and more importantly, what they are sharing on these

apps. are they giving away their home address, are they talking about their parents' names, are they giving identifiable information that would be something you don't want other people to have. cheryl: why is tiktok so popular with teenagers? i mean, it is. the videos are a little crazy that they do. i don't n want to get into it, but there's controversy about the videos. why do they love it so much? >> that is the billion dollar question, literally p. to me, look at these videos and it looks like a 64 box of yeah i don'crayons melted on the video camera. that what kids like, it's like a cartoon come to live. cheryl: it's artistic and fun. >> it's creative expression. remember the things we used the to draw on the caves, since we are all so old. cheryl: i had an atari and i loved it. >> here we are with -- always

why is that? >> i think this goes to show that joe biden nationally is still at the forefront of most democratic voters' minds. the concern for biden and his team will be that they've indicated they are kind of expecting or not betting on winning new hampshire and iowa, which will cause a whole entire news cycle. they're kind of focusing on a super tuesday strategy and winning states like south carolina and other states where there's a large african american and minority voting block, which biden tends to do very well with. so the risk there is that we haven't really had in a very long time somebody who has lost iowa and new hampshire and gone on to win the nomination and so it's a risky strategy for sure. cheryl: in the fox news poll, the latest, who is the democratic candidate that can beat president trump, 68% say it's joe biden. pretty interesting. let's move on to elizabeth

warren. she got the "saturday night live" treatment over the weekend. let's watch. >> we're talking trillions. you know, when the numbers are this bill, they're just pretend. it's a promise from a computer, you might as well say it costs thirthirty jilly. llion sur. cheryl: the numbers are contracconsistentcontradicting. i saw $52 trillion estimate on her plan. snl getting on the bandwagon. what is elizabeth warren running on then? >> i think that she came under attack for a long time about will it raise taxes on the middle class and she came up with this plan to change some numbers from a lot of very -- a lot of estimates, estimated it would cost about $32 trillion

over 10 years in new spending and she was saying it will cost about $20.5 trillion, based on how she adjusted things and so this is ripe for material for aattacks from her rivals, even bernie sanders is saying i don't think these numbers make sense and he's the person who is sort of the architect of medicare for all. and so this is -- she was coming under attack for a long time about not being honest about whether it would raise taxes on the middle class. i think those are not going to go away, based on the analysis we're seeing over these plans and also not being able to say okay, she's saying this is only going to be taxes on billionaires but there's some indications that middle class families will be affected because of the large taxes on employers. cheryl: before i let you go, emily, really quick, nancy pelosi is coming out and saying -- basically she's worried that 2020 is not on track and she's worried about the green new deal

discussion, she is worried about medicare for all. when is nancy pelosi going to come out a little stronger? >> i don't expect nancy pelosi to really come out against any specific candidate. i think she's going to endorse whoever the nominee is. but she is saying these things about -- these concerns about medicare for all, green new deal. she's always worried about her caucus and making sure that her more moderate democrats in the house are not in jeopardy when they go into election time in 2020. and so that's one of the reasons why it took her long to come out in support of impeachment. she waited until the moderate members had switched on that. while she may have her own policy ideas, i think her ideas for her -- and concern for her caucus are at the top of her mind as well. cheryl: there's a little impeachment inquiry kind of happening right now. she's busy with that. emily, thank you so much. >> thank you. lauren: well, new york city could soon allow voters to cast

voters for more than one candidate. the pros poseal for ranked choice -- proposal for ranked choice voting will be on the ballot tomorrow. they could ask who they would want to win if the top pick doesn't pick 50% of the vote. critics call it unconstitutional and confusing. if approved, the system will be used in primary and special elections in 2020. cheryl: 900 inmates in new york city jails could be let out before christmas according to the new york post. governor andrew cuomo will authorize this before a new bail reform law takes effect next year. bill de blasio will offer accused criminals free baseball tickets, movie passes and gift cards to encourage them to show up in court. i don't know what to say about that. as a new yorker, i think i'm speechless at this point about him. lauren: me too. let's take a look at futures this morning.

then they -- $2 million for the estate. they spent several million more to fix it up. the exterior was used in the film. lauren: this is how i feel in my house, like the money pit. starting today, texas cleaning up homeless camps in the capital city of austin. state agencies are moving in after the republican governor gave local leaders more than a month to come up with another solution. cheryl: aishah hasnie is live for us in austin, texas this morning with a firsthand look. aishah, good morning. >> reporter: good morning. and you know what? things are already underway, just moments ago about a half hour ago we saw texas d.o.t. crews out here escorted by state police, cleaning up the trash that is around the homeles homes encampment that you see behind me. they were trying to remove the first part of the process. the second part is when they'll come back and start to basically remove the tents and the

blankets and the clothing and put them in storage for these folks. and this is all happening as frustration is growing from residents in the city over how city leaders are handling this crisis. >> we drove into austin and under the underpass we saw a whole tent city and i was like why does that even exist. >> i've seen people urinating and defecating on the sidewalk right here. >> it's not a good look for austin. >> it's not, it's not. >> reporter: and just look at the numbers here. homelessness is groanin growingn austin, up 5% from last year. the governor warned city leaders to straighten things up. but now he's stepping in. s this morning, texas d.o.t. crews will clear away all the homeless encampment camps across town. the governor said he won't allow austin to turn into san francisco or the likes of almost a. one man said owes been living
