entire books that are fake. >> it's a disgusting sleazy cabal of many within the mainstream media with sneaky government officials. compare to what this so call anonymous official is doing to the former defense secretary. he obviously disagreed with some policies of the president of the united states. but when he left government and was asked over and over to belittle the president of the united states or belittle his policies, he refused to do so because he's a person that tbleefs this country and believes in the constitution. david: there are honorable people. the reason they are going after him and the reason they are using these underhanded tactics to get rid of him right from the beginning as we found out from the lawyer for the whistleblower. a couple weeks after the inauguration they talked about a

coup and impeachment. the people that controlled the levers of power inside the beltway, and not just inside the beltway. he's threatening all of those establishment figures, and they want to bring him down. >> not just democrats or liberals. but some republicans that were very comfortable drinking from the swamp, if you will. i know we are running out of time. but my business partner are going to send you and trish a couple of these hats for our new restaurant coming out in january 2020. then we want you to fly out and tape a segment from las vegas. david: coming up, don, jr.

david: hugs over bullets. that empty pledge by mexico's president for dealing with violence ringing hollow after the murder of nine americans, including six children gunned down by the drug cartel. many are comparing the brutality of the cartels to isis. does the u.s. need to be more forceful to get the mexican government to actually do something? joining me, u.s. army intel and special-ops * veteran, brett velicovich. hugs over bullets is an insult to the children. >> it's a total joke it was destined to fail from the beginning. if the option was for us to
1:38 am
sprinkle pixie dust instead of bombs we would do that. the drug cartels are well he equipped, heavily funded and the state of affairs in members coach shows that tack figure doesn't work. i think the president has been forceful about this issue since day one of his presidency. he has basically understood the serious northeast of the cartels since the beginning of his campaign. that's what the wall is all about. that's why he is trying to build the wall. instead we have the situation for our national security. we have democrats trying to put up these obstacles and be they turn this debate into a debate about children over the border. this crisis is spilling over our border. americans are dying.
1:39 am
>> specifically, bret, if mexicans won't provide justice in this matter, isn't there some way we can? i know we have had special-ops* programs in countries resistant in the past and we succeeded. another we succeeded in a number of situations. i think there is a situation where i'm not sure how much more resources we can put to it. we can add more funding. but these cartels are heavily funded. we can add special operations guys in there. but we won't put troops across the border. david: i'm talking about a specific targeted operation like the israelis did in taking out nazis. >> we are already doing that, david. we have our intelligence agencies and task forces made up of top members of our intelligence agencies he helping the mexican government hunt.
1:40 am
i think it's tough. in the ends the mexicans are in charge. but take it from somebody who hunted members of isis boulevard. i have seen the brutality of that group and i know the mexican cartels are just as brutal and in a lot of ways they are more heavily funded. we saw what happened when the raid was botched to get el chapo's son. they got him in custody but then had to release him because they were under a hail of gunfire. if you are a mexican citizen watching this, your own government doesn't have the ability to protect you. i don't know what type of resources we are able to give them that we aren't already doing. bernie sanders has a new plan to basically open up our borders, provide full amnesty to anybody who has been here illegally for
1:41 am
five years or more. also full well fair benefits and calls to break up sighs, border patrol, your thoughts on that. >> i mean, bernie sanders' plan with this proves how out of touch he is with the reality of the national security threat americans face. he's talking about abolishing i.c.e. removing one of our greatest assets to defend our own country. and it will only make the problem a lot more difficult than it already is. david: far left actress deb contract messing is fuming at the view for having donald trump, jr. on as a guestw

happened. david: it's called pandering. that was the president at a black voices for trump rally. one outspoken trump supporter, kanye west, is urging black voters to think twice before automatically filling out the d on the ballot. he says own your power. voting democrat for the rest of our lives is not the power. david harris joins me. is kanye going to have influence, particularly with young voters? >> absolutely, david. kanye has immense popularity with young voters. and with youngs people period. and i think with his recent absolute success of his new album that is all about god, there has been a transformation that happened in his life. and it's resonating in the
1:47 am
hearts and minds of young people. 6,000 were at his last event. over a thousand of them dedicated their lives to jesus. politically for him to come out and talk about the fact as black americans we shouldn't just blindly vote democrat which i believe 90% have blindly done it because that's what their parents have done, aunts, uncles. i think when he says own your power. he means the power as an individual, don't just blindly cast your vote for the democrats. david: you just focused on something that's so important. there is definitely need for a renaissance about to take place in the black community which had strong faith roots and it lost it. it's not just a black community. white, black, whatever has lost its faith. but particularly the black

community. the role of the preacher was so strong. you would think a remember sawrns is possible like that? >> i feel it. i have been praying for it. i think the church has been praying for a revival and awakening to hearts and minds back to their first love. so many blacks and americans period in this country once had a childlike faith in god and believed in him and trusted in him. i think there is an awakening that's coming. kanye is the tip of the spear for that. i just don't think most believers thought it would come through somebody like kanye. david: miracles do happen, and some of them happen in the least likely places. but on to the politics of all this. i wonder how black america can continue to vote for empty promises when a man donald trump fulfilled a lot of those
1:49 am
promises, particularly on jobs numbers which are better than they have been before for black america. to deliver, rather than just to pander. >> the democrats don't have anything to offer. donald trump started off with what the hell do you have to lose. and he followed up with prison reform, over 7,000 inmates, most of them black released. then reintegrated into society. the economy is booming. opportunity zones. because of the tax cuts is putting $100 billion into 87 communities. most of them minority communities. the hbcus'r, he merged $360 million, a 14% increase over anything in history. he's doing so much for the planning community in -- for the black community in this country which is good for all americans. but the liberal media don't want
1:50 am
to give him any attention. he's getting the job done for all of us, and especially the black community. david: debra messing is fuming at "the view" for what she says is their disappointing and i are responsible decision to interview donald trump, jr., that the trumps have quote assaulted our country but it's not the first time as we all remember, messing's aversion to free speech conflicted with the view. whoopi goldberg suggested messings view was representative of the mccarthy era where people ended up killing themselves. i would think people like mess having gone too far even for liberals. >> i think the liberals would have loved it. i think what they thought would
1:51 am
happen by the view having donald, jr. on there that they would filet them. the problem was, he was ready. he wrote the book "trigger." he dished it out to him and they connell handle it. so you have liberals with tds who want to blame donald trump and his family for everything that's gone wrong in the world since the beginning of time. it's liberal tds in action. david: the most important part of your interview was donald trump, jr., david needs a copy of your book. the reemergence of faith in the black community. it would be so important. >> we need it just like we need social media censorship.

facebook just unpublished my page today right after i finished going live sat donald trump's event. david: coming next. more political correctness run amok. a cafe replace gingerbreadman with a neutral gingerbread person. a viral video of a cat helping a dog get past a gate. (client's voice) remember that degree you got in taxation? (danny) of course you don't because you didn't! your job isn't doing hard work... ...it's making them do hard work... ...and getting paid for it. at finishyourdiploma.org david: welcome back. it's time for trending with trish. joining me, foxnation host kat timpf. a cafe in new zealand replaced gin der bread man -- gingerbread man with gingerbread person. this whole thing of gender neutral is just orwellian. it's like 1984. kat: it's a cookie that doesn't have a gender because it's flour and butter and sugar. none of those things are sexual. a lady fingers cookie is a female cookie.
1:57 am
this happened because a customer complained they were called gingerbread men. you would not be happy at my house. david: remember in the movie "shrek" that movie would be band under these berkeley users. many cell phone users say they have been receiving texts from old exs and even people who are dead. >> i have got some tough exs. i'm not even look at them. i am look at me for being with them. if i woke up to a text from any one of these men, i would not have started my day off on the right foot. i would sue for emotional damages. david: apparently there are third parties that handle your texts. not just the phone company.

how creepy would it be to get a valentine card from a dead loved one. kat: i don't care for it. david: the next one is my favorite. caught on camera. adorable moment when a cat opened a gate for the family dog who is scared of half open doors. you have got to see this. take a look. >> come on, dude. come on, rigg. say thank you, nova. david: who says animals can't reason. kat: my cat is kind of a jerk. he loves me, he's sweet to me. he would never do that for another animal. if we have guests with a dog he

is furious. he hisses, he's fundamentally askew. this cat, chinks. it's short for dr. pepper. david: a college student was offered a tuition free year in college if he made a half court shot. watch what happened. how cool is that. kat: that is amazing. i could never do that. thankfully i got good grades. that woulds the on way i could get help with school. i have trouble walking upstairs. david: he was talked into going by his buddies and as a result he got a tuition-free year.

kat: maybe i will start leaving the house more quickly myself. have a great >> a regular old dad... >> all he said was, "who's gonna buy something from bill wagner?" >> turned art scene heavyweight. >> he went from very clean-cut to start wearing brighter-colored shirts, and then his hair grew long. >> how important a name is he? >> there are no comparables. >> he leaves behind a puzzle. >> oh, the sun is shining. or it's an egg. are you sure these go together? >> it's always a mystery. >> this is all your dad's? >> it's a very small portion of the art that he produced. >> how do you handle an 8-ton inheritance? >> every single day, i've thought, "what am i going to do with it?"
