money? >> i think so, honestly. i think bernie did very well around last time around. but the dnc kinda rigged for hillary clinton. and then hillary, she lost. i think that money isn't the most important thing, the game is changing i think a lot of it has to do with personality, a lot of it has to do with getting attention, and those sorts of things. i think a lot of people voted for president trump because they kind of like the idea of the dishes breaking in the kitchen, and shaking things up. and i think bernie sanders also has some of that. i think that's more working in his favor than the money itself. because hillary had more money, jed bush had more money, what's he doing now? >> but you look at those two candidates they were the embodiment of party establishment. i'm bernie sanders and donald trump regardless how you feel about them they are very authentic. they very authentic and it's and humans. it wouldn't fun to see them

the dnc. they have not forgotten. they are richer and much more motivated. >> i think it is staggering the numbers he is pulling on fundraising. and i think it kind of shows that there is a war right now the democratic party. and the radical left is in control of the party right now you saw with elizabeth warren waiting, ever since she's gotten to the details of how she's get a pay for medicare for all, she kinda went down from there. so i think you're seeing bernie pick that up. but it think one of the most concerning things in these numbers is the profession of teachers were the biggest contributor to bernie sanders. and that tells me our children are getting inducted into socialist. that is dangerous here. [laughter] kennedy: we are all going to hell. but bernie sanders everybody can art him out because he had a heart attack. he was really sort of waffling with his poll numbers. he totally stagnated, but somehow he's got the big mo back.

is it because people don't like joe biden and they're scared to admit it and they are still kicking tires? and he is better than job biden he's more authentic. he is a united states senator, he is independent, he is all this things that nonaffiliated voters like. but he's also very old. >> he has also been very consistent throughout his career about the things he does and does not stand for. i also think that it sort of interesting that he has become so popular. we hear people argue all the time on the democratic side saying the democratic party is not socialist. it is so moderate. you look at the numbers he's bringing in donations, and you know the average donation is $18. that means that there is a lot of people, not just a couple rich people who wanted to win. kennedy: yes, but it's also a lot of people can go back in six months and re- donate. if and when he is a nominee. >> or talk about millions and minds of people here yes it

was 1.8 million. kennedy: just joe biden still have the upper hand because he has the higher numbers the national poll? >> in national polls don't count for much. right now they don't comment counted for debate stage performance. the key indicator for me is, joe biden is still on top in the recent polls of same. we had him leading ten points nationwide against the field, seven points against the president. but that was before thanksgiving and a lot has changed. >> i think that's because they believe him to be the most electable. and the truth is every day he makes a gap that erodes. >> i think it speaks of authenticity these gaffes carried. kennedy: if you're going for authenticity i think and you yang. the race if you are hesitant by joe biden which you are not a high hard-core left progressive, if you want something more moderate, klobuchar also gets yourself in the debate by finding a more moderate position with a little bit more finesse than john delaney and others who have maybe tried to go in that lane. i think that's why she's still hanging in there. kennedy: it's true. the lady try to have it always. he tried to say i'm a capitalist, i want to make more money, but i want universal healthcare. and it seems like pete buttigieg has had a better nuanced way of answering some of the tougher questions. and amy klobuchar is saying but yeah senator and you're only a mayor from a small town. if you are a lady would not be in this position. i don't know if that's true. >> that's why there are 70 fireworks between them at the last debate. he tried to pivot a little bit to the left of the beginning and saw how crowded that lane was, move back to sort of hay on the blue-collar guy from

's's how is he promoting drug use? >> they had a whole drug chute of buying the marijuana. i think it's unnecessarily think it's unnecessary to promote drug use. kennedy: i look at drug use, and i look at some of the things people put in their bodies, and i look at people who take nyquil to sleep, and people take muscle relaxants, and xanax, and i don't see that is being any different than someone going to a dispensary, in fact i think a politician is a total booze bag cabela's up to a bar could do much more harm to his or herself, and their liver, and potentially to society by killing people. >> that's a fairport.

[laughter] basically if you look at the surveys 14 years, and when you ask them why they are using, curiosity by far is the number one reason why they are using them. and flavors happen read way way down the totable. only about 23% of teens say that's any sort of consideration when they are choosing. kennedy: in if all they want is a flavor, they will go out and she is dumb dumb's,

because they come in blue cotton candy common root beer, and all kinds of delicious flavors. but this doesn't not get to the heart of the question. and i don't think the federal government, if we are going to be paying for healthcare, and i say we i say medicare for all or some big government program like that. do you want people smoking combustible cigarettes? i would rather see the current crop of people including adults, and i don't care what flavor they are using, much rather see them bait because the ultimate cost for society is much lower. >> obviously, and because vaping, smoking around among children adults and everyone is at the lowest of all time. we should be thanking the vapors for putting the products out there. now mean if the federal government is going to do something about vaping that is going to be effective, i think we could have that conversation. but what the federal government is doing at the moment, what they're proposing is only removing the flavors that are carcinogens. that could be annoying for a lot of people and might reduce
