8:00 pm
they don't want to act good because they are fundamentally bad. but if you get enough people pushing on them they will do the right thing. lou: thanks for joining us, good night from new york. [♪] trish: the president of the united states is speaking to a crowd of thousands in ohio and we are take you there in just minutes. first as democrats vote to restrict the president's war powers, the reality to talk about reality and stress what reality really is. the reality tonight is this. we have taken out a major terrorist responsible for hundreds of dead americans. and we have shaken iran's leadership enough for iran to have gotten the message that we are not going to allow. nor will america ever fund a reign of terror. the stock market knows this. but the seater we get, the
8:01 pm
ageyer the left becomes. d the angrier the left becomes. good evening. i'm trish regan. this is the partisanship we are looking at from the democrats on display today. >> president trump's incoherent strategy brought us to the brink of another disastrous war in the middle east. >> president trump committed an illegal and unconstitutional act of war. >> the president's dangerous provocation was unlawful and unconstitutional. >> the president's reckless and i are responsible actions towards iran hah endangered our service members. >> this reckless act by the president of the united states actually makes us less safe. trish: they are all mad. they are all mad. you know what? these are people that cannot stand success. when the country is successful, they think they are not. president trump has single
8:02 pm
handedly course corrected the mess we have had in the middle east. he demonstrated that we'll no longer appease terrorist regimes. markets are soaring. most importantly tonight, we are safe. but god forbid we are actually safe. i hate to say this. it's almost as though they want to prove a point. they want to prove a point that donald trump has launched us into some kind of world war iii. take a look at the leader of the squad, ilhan omar. she is perhaps one of the angriest right now. >> the president of the united states has been goading iran into war. the occupant of the white house has not done a single thing to save lives in the region. he has done everything to create more tension.
8:03 pm
trish: really? more tension? what do they want? they want to allow these terrorists to thrive until they come and get us? i'll tell you, this is how we know. this is how we know this is nothing but pure politics. here is how we know how totally insincere this congresswoman is. when she is not raging against president trump, i want you to see how she is joking around with members of her squad. can we actually zoom in on this. i want you to see her laughing. here she is ilhan omar, laughing, giggling, chatting, happily with hear squad mates as another democratic congresswoman talks about war and death of our soldiers. you want to talk about a total
8:04 pm
lack of respect for our military. her giggling up there. is this not proof she doesn't take any of this seriously? what on i want to know was so darn funny that she thought it was appropriate to be giggling on stage at at moment like this. ilhan omar thinks president trump is causing her to have ptsd. >> i feel ill a little bit because of everything taking place. every time i hear about -- i hear of conversations around war, i find myself being strip with ptsd. trish: ptsd is an emotional depressive disorder that so many members of our military really do struggle with.
8:05 pm
why are we talking about ilhan omar? she wants to sanction israel. but when israel sanctions or rather our sanctions where heading for iran, she somehow thinks it's economic warfare which makes you wonder. whose side is she on? whose side is the left on? i'll tell you, sometimes it feels like they are on iran's side. it would be helpful if everyone in washington, d.c. would stand for the united states of america right now. and be on america's side. that's tonight's intel. joining me, house armed services committee members indiana congressman jimming banks who took quite an issue with ilhan omar and her ptsd comment. your thoughts on the democrats
8:06 pm
behavior including this woman giggling on stage. >> it makes my blood boil when i hear the word come out of ilhan omar's mouth. her behavior at this press conference is disrespectful to our men and women around the globe that wear the uniform and serve to protect us. yet her juvenile behavior and pure hatred of president trump is disgraceful to me. that's why i tweeted last night that ilhan omar is disrespectful of our troops and she should apologize for this behavior. instead she lashed out even further and doubled down and played victim. instead of recognizing her behavior is disgraceful and unbecome of a member of congress. trish: isn't that par for the course? you see it or and over again on the left.
8:07 pm
they are always playing the victim card. this president has helped lift people's spirits up. he helped them realize america doesn't need to be the victim. we can chart our own future and destiny. you think what's happening with iran. us taking out one of the bad guys in the world that's responsible for so much heinous death, murdering. 600 americans. you know, it's somewhat empowering. i don't think it left understands. >> ilhan omar says she hates war. she say the as a child. she should be thanking president trump for keeping us out of war with iran. but her pure hatred led her and pelosi and others to pass a motion on the floor to tie this president's hands to keep
8:08 pm
america safe. especially in the threat of the iranian regime that last year killed an american contractor and harmed american troops. she wants to tie the president's hands from keeping our troops safe rather than thank him for what he has done to keep us out of war. trish: our president is speaking in ohio, and he has a lot of things to say on the economy. let's listen in. president trump: the increase for blue collar workers. think of this. 40 million american families are now benefiting from the republican child tax credit. each receiving an average of over $2,200 a year. now, america lost -- this is hard to believe, you think how
8:09 pm
could it possibly be true. but this ways happened. probably it's the number one reason i'm running. america lost 60,000 factories under the previous administration. 60,000. you wouldn't believe that's possible but you know it's true. i said it 50 times and the fakers back there never correct it. it's true. it's true. if i was slightly off. if it were -- if i was off by two factories. there would be a headline. donald trump gets to be a pinocchio again. think of it. 60,000 factories. plants and factories closed. closed. they went to mexico, they went to china. 60,000. take a look at a map and put 60,000 little dots. you wouldn't believe it could be that's. but it is.
8:10 pm
60,000 closed, gone. they are all coming back. they are all coming back. right now just in a very short period of time we added 12,000 brand-new factories and many more are coming in. [cheers and applause] and one of the reasons they are coming in is we eliminated a record number of job-killing regulations saving the average american house hold $3,000 a year and total income gains for median house holds will reach over -- ready? $10,000 a family. under the bush administration, the $10,000 that includes what we have done in terms of median income. i'm adding in the thanks cuts
8:11 pm
which are tremendous. $2,400. i'm adding regulation cuts. over $10,000. under president bush it was $450. under barack hussein obama it was $975. under president donald j. trump it's $10,000. a year. it's three years. don't forget. president bush. 8 years. $450. president obama, 8 years, $975. president trump three years, not even, but three years, $10,000. [cheers and applause] we ended the last
8:12 pm
administration's war on american energy and we ended the war on clean beautiful coal it's being shipped to vietnam and being shipped all over the world. while every democrat running for president wants to shut down our coal mines, we are putting our minors back to work. what they do with coal today is incredible. clean coal. with the help of energy workers right here in ohio, the united states is now the number one producer of oil and natural gas anywhere in the world by far. number one. we were number one. every top democrat candidate has pledged to eliminate american production of oil and natural gas. how does that work? there is a state known as texas.
8:13 pm
i won texas by a lot just like i won ohio by a lot. how would you like to go into texas and say we don't want your oil or natural gas anymore. how about beto. he said i was born to be president. anybody that says that, i said that's the end of his career. remember he had the cover of the magazine. sleaze bag magazine. he was born to be president, but after that he came tumbling down. he was from texas. he was against religion, oil and guns. abraham lincoln could not win in texas with that platform. but you have people that want to shut down the soil industry. if you do that, you will shut down half of your businesses. and the rest of them will not be able to pay because the cost of this energy would be so expensive. we have all terms of energy. and we are doing great.
8:14 pm
but they want to cripple your state's economy. but the voters of ohio will never let that happen. never going to let it happen. ask. our air, and our water wright now is cleaner than it's been in 40 years. and sadly i can't say historic because a couple hundred years ago there was nobody here. right? i assume 200-300 years ago was cleaner probably. but you never know. but our water and our air is cleaner than it's ever been. i took us out of that horrible paris accord. i said how are you doing with the paris accord. don't ask. saved trillions of dollars. that was put in there to hurt us in my opinion. we were paying money to india,
8:15 pm
we were paying money to china. china's didn't kick in until 2030. russia's kicked in before -- they were 996. that was -- 1996. that was a dirty period of air. we kick in now. we would have spent trillions of dollars. we would have had to close up i think at least 25% to 30% of our businesses. who the help would make a deal like that? how unfair. you look at russia. you look at china and india. they have mass idea breaks. we got no breaks and we are paying money. i say sometimes to france, how are the yellow vests working out? they don't like raising their taxes and sending the money to faraway places they never heard of.
8:16 pm
we are in good shape. it took a certain amount of courage to do that. i said i'll get killed on this one. i did the and i was applauded. because the people get it. the people know what we are doing. and they are tired of being ripped off by the rest of the world. they are tired of being ripped off by the rest of the world. for decade, career politicians promise i'd to defend the workers of ohio, then they went to washington and voted for the same globalist policies that devastated your communities and slipped away your jobs. you know that better than anybody. but the betwril ofio workers and u.s. workers ended the day i took the oath of office. and you see that because you set a record. i immediately canceled the obama administration's job-killing catastrophe which would have
8:17 pm
dealt a death blow to the united states auto industry, the trans-pacific partnership. it was going to be worse than nafta. nafta i always say the worst deal. i think it would have been worse. it would have taken the car industry. that was a setup for the united states to get pleased. the usmca will create over 100,000 new auto jobs. and our factories will not be closing and moving other faraway land. we'll keep them right here. [cheers and applause] and that's going to include because we take care of our great auto workers of toledo, the home of jeep. how good is jeep. and i have taken the toughest ever action against china's chronic trade abuses including
8:18 pm
tariffs on $370 billion worth of chinese-made goods, bringing billions and billions of dollars into our treasury. and i gave some of that money was they were targeted to our farmers. our farmers did just fine. now the deal is done and the farmers are doing very well. we love our farmers. and they never complain. they never complain. the fake news, they will go and talk to the farmers. what do you think of president trump. china is deciding not to buy anymore. the farmers would say we are going have to suffer for a while because china and these other nations have been ripping us off for years. the president is right, and we are with the president. how great are they? but our strong action paid off, and we'll sign that terrific and
8:19 pm
fully enforceable phase one trade deal with china. and we are keeping the tariffs on because we'll use that for another one. we are taking billions. remember what i said? we are not paying for it. china devalued their currency and they put a lot of money into the pot. we are not paying for it. now they are starting to say i guess he was right. and our trade deficit has come substantially down. it was just in the papers today. the trade deficit has come down. as a result of our options, steel mills across joe -- across ohio are roaring back to life. republic steel is reopening the lorraine mill they idled in 2016. charter steel is building a $150 million mill in cuyahoga heights. and $85 million is being
8:20 pm
invested at a facility in marion, ohio. the steel industry was dead. now it's vibrant. all told, american steel companies are currently making $13 billion worth of new investments across our nation. they weren't investing 10 cents. the industry was dead. now it's vibrant. we are finally rebuilding our nation. we are finally putting america first. [cheers and applause] but while we are creating jobs and killing terrorists, the washington democrats are wasting america's time with demented hoaxes and crazy witch hunts.
8:21 pm
from the day i came down that escalator it started. who the hell else could have taken this stuff. right? do you get some credit for that? most guys would have been in the corner with their thumb in their mouth saying mommy, mommy, take me home. these are bad people. the democrat politicians we are fighting today are the same ones who took a sledgehammer to ohio jobs and factories. they destroyed your factories and destroyed your jobs. but they are losing and we are winning and america's comeback continues full speed ahead. [cheers and applause] on no issue have democrat politicians more thoroughly betrayed the american people
8:22 pm
than the issue of illegal immigration. far left radical politicians deport deadly sanctuary cities, demonstrating their contempt, scorn and disdain for everyday americans and the american family. the jurisdictions release dangerous violent criminal aliens out of their jails and directly on to your streets where they are free to rob, attack and kill american citizens. but we stop it. they want open borders. can you believe it? and because of democrats' open border policies. they want open borders. they want people flowing. come on in. come on in. innocent americans are being cutallized and murdered by illegal -- are being brutalized
8:23 pm
by illegal alien criminals. in ohio an illegal alien went on a crime spree, attempting to relationship a 14-year-old girl, then relationshipping and murdering a 60-year-old woman, then raping a woman who took a shortcut through the park and was walking with her children. and finally the place came and they were able to apprehend this terrible criminal. thanks to democrat policies, ms-13 gang members were allowed to infiltrate the country. i called them animals. and nancy pelosi said they are not animals were they are human beings. her district is one of the most disgusting, dirtiest. it used to be one of the best in the country. now it's a disgrace what happened. drug needles all over the place. the homeless they are not taking care of. tents down major thoroughfares.
8:24 pm
what happened to san francisco in particular her district, and she lives in this beautiful house. but they terrorize our citizens including killing their victims with machetes. you know why? because it's more painful than using a gun. federal shorts recently discovered and rounded up more than 20 ms-13 gang members in central ohio. and they will be sent to jail and if they hold them, i don't know that they hold them. they will be sent the hell back home. [cheers and applause] last year alone i.c.e. officers who by the way are heroes. these are brave people. i don't want to do it, you don't want to do it. you could do it over there. most of you -- i have seen it. they have these people, they are
8:25 pm
like killers. and our guys are here. and they have nets. hot hell wants to do it. they are incredible. i.c.e. and they get scorned. and we take out thousands and thousands of ms-13 members every single year. they throw them into the back of the van and we get them the hell out of the our country. but i.c.e. officers work with ohio police to remove 1,200 dangerous criminal aliens from our streets. you see the difference now. do we have a problem over there? go ahead, take your time. good. thank you, great job. thank you. these people here, unlike you up there, these people have been waiting for three days.
8:26 pm
i don't know. you know what? if i had to wait three days, i think i like your seat better. but democrats stand for crime, corruption, and chaos. republicans stand for law, order, and justice. that's the way it is. we side with law enforcement, withdraw biding americans, not law-abiding criminal aliens. we are removing these illegal criminals and gang flebs our country by the thousands. we are sending them home and we'll not let them back in. a lot of things are happening. you will hear about it in two seconds thanks to our tireless efforts to secure the border. illegal crossing are down 75% since may. [cheers and applause] we ended catch and release.
8:27 pm
catch and release. you know what catch and release is? we catch them, we take down their name and release them. what kind of crap is that? these are the policies that we inherited. you catch somebody, you take their name, you say please come back in three years. and we release them into our country. if you don't do that everybody gets sued. can you believe this? we ended catch and release. how about the lottery. it's called visa lottery. they put their hand -- these people are going to america. i will not use names because i will be accused of something if i do. but from honduras, guatemala, el salvador -- only in ohio could that happen.
8:28 pm
who's the man who did that? so anyway, in honduras and guatemala they have a lottery. the people -- i have gone the to know the government officials. they are good. they agreed to take their people back. they wouldn't take them back. they would send them here. we would bring them back and them they would say we are not taking them back. we are not taking them back. take them hell out of them, we are not letting you land your plane. we have the government trielg trying to get bad people back. now they take them back. i said if you don't take them back we are going to put tariffs on everybody single thing you sell. now they say we would love to take them back. we'll take them back gladly, sir. they couldn't get them back. we take over these these absolute thugs, gang members and
8:29 pm
they wouldn't accept them. we couldn't land the plane. it comes through the border this way but not that way. now they take them back. they have been great, actually. we paid them a lot of money. we pay them $500 million a year. the three of them, el salvador included. i said we are not going to pay you any money anymore because you are not treating us right. [cheers and applause] and they have been great. they have been great. they take them back. how many would you like to us take? we'll take as many as you want. here is the big thing. you ready? you read it in the newspapers. in the fifth circuit court of appeals, we won the big, big beautiful lawsuit where they were suing us. the wall is being built. we built -- [cheers and applause] we built already a tremendous amount. but we are releasing $4 billion
8:30 pm
of military construction fund to build the biggest section of the wall. it's literally being signed now and it will be under construction very shortly in a couple of weeks. and we have already built over 1 oh 0 miles of wall. how about -- over 100 miles of wall. by the end of next we are we'll have a lot of the wall built. how about the democrats? walls don't work, we want technology. they want drones. when people are rushing the caravans. when people are rushing, having a drone flying around won't help you too much. five years ago the democrats wanted the wall. they just couldn't get it built. they didn't know how the hell to build it. but i do. we have a lot under contract. but we won our big case.
8:31 pm
we won our big case. they overturned the horrible decision from the lower court. you can now fund the rest of the wall. i said thank you very much. thank you. fifth circuit. coast appeal. but they want to have open borders. they want to have sanctuary cities. the radical democrats have never been more extreme than they are right now. they are stone cold crazy. you know, it's interesting, as i am saying this, they want crime, they want chaos. i am saying all this stuff. then i say i understand why they hate me. but it's true. their policies are a disaster. they are bad politicians and they have horrible policies. but they stick together and they are vicious. they are vicious, horrible people. i didn't used to say that.
8:32 pm
they are horrible people. what they do to people is a disgrace. but they stick together. the republicans thank you very much. the republicans, we were 196-0 in the house, and i have a feeling the senate will be great also. and we took in three democrats. congressman van drew left their party and joined our party. so we have done things nobody has ever done before. but the democrats are taking their cues from socialist bernie sanders and that group. omar. aoc. tlaib, isn't she a nice woman? tlaib. what a group. witbut they are the leaders of e party. that's how they got into this
8:33 pm
impeachment hoax. the leaders of the party are this ao cd tlaib and omar. pelosi meets them and she shakes and quivers. but you know who the leader of your party is? you. all of you. you are the leader of your party. but the democrats are pushing a socialist takeover of healthcare that would strip 180 million americans of their private insurance plans and massively raise taxes on the middle class. a lot of you have private insurance plans you love. they are going to take them away from you. i came up with this great name, i came up with a bunch of different stuff. i said she was a total fraud. it doesn't help me to do it a
8:34 pm
year and a half before the election. like the green new deal. i want to say great things about it. i don't want to knock it then they say we are not going to use it. i like it when they say no longer can you fly airplanes. no longer can you have any cows in the pasture. right? no longer can we do anything. we can't do anything anymore. the green new deal i love. it should be debated. so what we are going to do very seriously. we are going to not talk badly about them. they asked me by the the other day. i said no it's something that has to be considered. two weeks before the election i will let you know the facts. it doesn't matter, we are too far ahead of the election. the green new deal. that's a beauty. it's amazing. i see this congressman that's
8:35 pm
been there, his white hair, beautiful white hair -- nope, not you -- and he's have aoc. and he's saying yes we have to go with the green new deal. i am saying is this guy for real? i don't know if he believes it. he has been around 20 years in congressing. i see him and i know him a little bit and he acts like he believes it. but you are going to join some rallies about a month before. you are going to hear the real facts. but i'm tired of talking them out of things 10 months before the election. bernie sanders healthcare plan would cost over $32 trillion. that's morthat's more money thae in five years. he's indeed crazy. let me take that back. no, it's a great plan that we have to consider strongly. we have to consider his plan
8:36 pm
strongly. i'll tell what you the fake news will do. they will take my great plans, it's a great plan we have to consider it strongly. and they will say donald trump is in favor of bernie sanders' green new deal. they can do more with the tape than they can do with a newspaper. they will do that. somewhere you will see it. trump supports his plan. they are sick. republicans will defend middle class taxpayers and the right to keep the doctor of your choice. we'll protect patients with preexisting conditions and we'll protect your preexisting physicians. you will have our physicians. virtually every top democrat also now supports late-term abortion, ripping babies straight from the mother's womb right up until the moment of
8:37 pm
birth. that's why i asked congress to prohibit late-term abortion. republicans believe that every child is a sacred gift from god. radical democrats are now the party of high taxes, high crime, open borders, late-term abortion, socialism, and blatant corruption. the republican party is the partist american worker, the american family, and the party of the american dream. we still have that american dream. as of today we appointed 187 federal judges to interpret the constitution as written.
8:38 pm
think of that. and two great supreme court judges. think of that. 187 federal and court of appeals judges. thank you, president trump. thank you very much, president obama. we. but first day i had 142 judges. i said how many do we have? sir, we have 142. i said you have got to be kidding. they said no, sir, you have 142. i said you have got to be kidding. how did this happen? president obama did not get it done. and by the way, mitch helped a lot. he helped a lot. it wasn't so easy. mitch mcconnell. we are aggressively come batting
8:39 pm
the opioid epidemic and it's bad. in 2018 drug overdose deaths inio fell by 22%. not good enough. but 22%. opioid. as we continue rebuilding our military, we have restarted the legendary army tank factory in lima. and we authorized 441 new triker fighting combat vehicles and 452 abrams tanks to be built in the buckeye state. that's a lot of tanks. so wait. i'm proud of this. so they have this army tank in lima. and i said what's going on. they are closing it. i said they are?
8:40 pm
they are closing everything. when i came in they wanted to close everything. i was president-elect i think right around that time. i went to lima and went to the factory where they make the trucks and the tanks and armored vehicles. i said you could never close this. you could never reopen it again. they have been doing it for many many decade. i looked at the tanks they are making, the best in the world, the abrams. i said if you close this, we are not -- where are you going to build tanks? it's the primary factory in the whole country. i think it might be the only country. are we going to send to china, please send us 200 tanks. we don't want to send you any tanks because we are going to kick your ass. we have to make our own tanks. so i did something based on my
8:41 pm
instinct. instinct sometimes works better than anything else. i said you can't close this plant. i went through that plant. i subsequent two or three hours -- i spent two or three hours talking to the people in there. i love the world of tractors and i know a lot by the. i looked at the carvings and the metal. i looked how perfect it fit. they put it on and it would fit within 1/100 inch. i said you will not be able to do this any place else. we'll be expanding our military. who the hell are going to make our tanks if you close it. anybody from lima? is that a true story? they announced it was set to close. i said you can't close this plant. now look, the numbers i just gave you. we are making almost 500 tanks.
8:42 pm
we could have never reopened a place like that and never got those workers. they are really skilled people. if you did it would have cost you billions of dollars to do it and it wouldn't have been as good as you have. that's something i did that i'm proud of. i overrode a lot of talented people who wanted to choice. i recognized israel's true capital and opened the american embassy in jerusalem. we recognized is realliy sovereignty over the -- israel's sovereignty over the golan heights. you have a president standing up for america and standing up for the great people of ohio. at stake in our present battle is the survival of the american
8:43 pm
nation. if you want your children to inherit the blessings that generations of americans have fought and died for, and fought so hard to secure. then we must devote everything we have toward victory in 2020. we have to win. we have to win. because all of these things that we have donning be undone. -- we have done can be undone. and you can have a country that goes to hell very, very fast. only this way can we save the america we love and drain the washington swamp once and for all. and i have seen that dirty rotten swamp better than anybody else in america. a lot of crooked people. disgusting crooked people. with your help we'll lift millions more of our citizens from welfare to work, dependence to independence and poverty to
8:44 pm
possible 8. together we'll elect a republican congress to create a fair, safe, sane, and lawful system of immigration. we'll enact trade deals that result in more products, proudly stand with that beautiful, brave made in the u.s.a. we'll achieve new breakthroughs in science and medicine, finding new cures for childhood cancer and ending the aids epidemic in america. it could have been done long before it got here. but we are ending the aids epidemic america within 10 years. who would have thought that's possible. who would have thought that's possible. we'll defend privacy, free speech, religious liberty and the right to keep and bear arms.
8:45 pm
and above all, we'll never stop fighting for the sacred values that find us together as one big beautiful america. we support, protect and defend the constitution of the united states. we stand with the incredible heroes of law enforcement. we believe in the dignity of work and the sanctity of life. we believe that faith and family not government and bureaucracy are the true american way. we believe that children should be taught to love our country, honor our history, and to always respect our great american flag.
8:46 pm
and we'll always live by the words of our national motto, in god we trust. we stand on the shoulders of generations of ohio patriots who gave their blood, sweat and tears for this beloved nation. from cleveland to cincinnati, and columbus to toledo, this state is the home of proud families and farmers and miners and manufacturers and aviators and astronauts. [cheers and applause] ohio is where the wright brothers invented the airplane and where annie oakley got her gun. ohio is the state that gave us american legends and american heroes like thomas edison, neil
8:47 pm
armstrong and the great john glenn. ohio is the place where strong american workers, mine coal, work the railroads and forged the steel that made america into the greatest and most powerful nation in the history of the world. and we are making it greater than ever before. proud citizens like you help build this country and together we are taking back our country. we are returning power to you the american people. with your help, your devotion, and your drive, we are going to keep on working, we are going to keep on fighting, and we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning. we are one movement, one people,
8:48 pm
one family, and one glorious nation under god. america is thriving like never before. and ladies and gentlemen of ohio, the best is yet to come. because together we'll make america wealthy again. we'll make america strong again. we'll make america proud again. we'll make america safe again. and we'll make america great again. thank you toledo. thank you.
