duke it out. what a week he has had. what a way to enter 2020. the president gained one million new donors and raised $117 million since the whole impeachment charade started. the democrat candidate the establishment seize as having the best chance against the president, joe biden. he's look for a fourth place finish in new hampshire. joe biden was in my hometown of hampton, new hampshire yesterday. this happened. >> how do you explain the:performance in iowa and why should the voters believe you can win the national election. >> it's a good question. number one, i was a democratic caucus, ever been to a caucus? no, you haven't. you are a lying dog-faced pony shoulder. you said you were going to be

let alone a country. bernie sanders who many believe got robbed in 2016 by the democratic establishment, he wants recanvassing. the shadow company quite literally called shadow and run by pete buttigieg's campaign advisor's wife. the conflict of interests be ran rampant. many of the board members were part of the democratic establishment. and pete buttigieg giving them $42,000 from campaign coffers. there are growing indications the democrats could be heading to a brokered convention which may be exactly what hillary clinton who refuses to take her name out of the race -- >> i as i say never never never

there. it was really impressive for me to see. it's one thing to see it on a tv screen. but to be back home in new hampshire and see the thousands of people. i come from a small place where we don't have that's people. to see them pack into that arena, and the thousands waiting outside that weren't able to get in, it shows you there is some excitement there. he excited a group of people in a really big way. how did this play out assuming bernie sanders or pete buttigieg or joe biden is the nominee. >> all you have to do is looking at the crowds. donald trump is speaking to over 12,000 people of on the inside and thousands on big screen televisions on the outside. but bernie can't draw a crowd bigger than a thousand people. 1,800 at his best. this is supposed to be an energized electorate. donald trump isn't facing a

primary opponent. you see the enthusiasm. he speaks for more than an hour and the people want more. and they leave just as energized as they came in. 2020 is probably going to be the year for democrats to go socialist. the problem is the country is not going socialist in 2020 or anytime soon and they will select somebody who is totally unelectable. trish: let me ask you about momentum. when you look the joe biden, the chosen one in fourth place. i mentioned his rally in my hometown. they were lucky to have had 500 people there. they were soliciting people to come in last minute. because we want to look like we have a good crowd. you don't have that excitement, passion, momentum for biden.

does that mean it will be a socialist to pull this off? >> a likeable socialist in be where or bernie. bernie is died in the wool. he will tell you unabashedly, i'm a socialist democrat. the democrats will seal their fate with a socialist. when they have the convention in the summer and fight over their platform. for every plank in the platform they will want it in writing. and he or she will be stuck with that as they move to the general election. trish: we are not socialists. it's not who we are. not who we'll ever be. you know all the reporting i have done on venezuela. you go around the world. take your pick. it never ends well. so for anybody to be talking about that in this utopian way,

i think it's critical that they remember sort of facts, right? important, cold hard facts. and history. i think it would prove capitalism is the only way forward. and that's not even a political statement. that's just reality. >> as a famous democrat once season, john f. kennedy, a rising tide lifts all boats. every segment of our society, race, you name it, has had a bettering life under donald trump. people vote their pocketbooks, they vote their conscience. donald trump has overpromised and delivered in every way possible. whether it's on the economy, or national security. this is a guy who made good on his promises.

it was a very exciting night. we have thousands of people, maybe tens of thousands who cannot get in. so we are honored about it it's a great place, great state. trish: what do you think of the democrats right now. president trump: i think they are in disarray. i think bernie is a little bit surging. it depends on your definition of surge. i think what happened in iowa is a disgrace and embarrassing to hem. they will pick somebody. whoever it is, it is. i will have to run against somebody. they will pick somebody. trish: you have been through a lot. nancy pelosi tearing up the speech. did you have any idea what was going on? >> no, but she was mumbling behind me all night long. she was mulch belling all night long hund me. i heard she -- a lot of folks

said did you see what she did? i didn't see it, no. we have done a lot without her. we have done a lot, whatever we can do. we have great people. senators and congressmen and women. i think we have done more than anything has common in the first three years of the term. we have to fight all the way with these people. we can solve the immigration problem. we are building the wall. i had to go all the way around and short-circuit it. we are building a wall rapidly. we have over 100 miles built. and it's going to be very important. we have the 100 miles up. what a difference it makes in that area. like kay -- like day and night. we are fully funded. trish: what about the let action attorney general bill barr is

taking against sanctuary cities. does this go all the way to the supreme court? president trump: a lot of it goes to the supreme court. we won at the supreme court after losing in the lower courts, theth circuit. the people are on our side. you can see by the crowds we have. we have a much larger crowd than all of them put together. and they are passionate. they are all voters. trish: you have been fighting an uphill battle with people at the nsc. any word from john bolton on whether he might have been connected to or urging on the whistleblower? president trump: we'll see. but we have to be very careful. when you are talking about national security and you are talking all the different things we do, you can't just go out and write a book.

you in person, you were angry with jay powell. how do you feel about him now? >> i am not happy. we have a higher fed rate than other countries. we are by far the biggest. everything is us. yet we pay more. you look at germany, they pay negative interest rates. and we should be paying less than anybody. negative rates, nobody has seen it before. but i love the sound of it. you pay off a loan and they pay you. i will say i am not happy. he raised too fast and lowers too slow and he should have gone a lot faster. he raised rates too fast. he tightened up. and with all of that we are still doing the best by far in the world. but we could have been up substantially higher had he not done that. president trump was paying zero

interest rates. in our case we were paying interest. which is good. in all fairness, it's much better for the banks. so the banks remain solid and good. i think we should be competing. the competitors of ours. germany and france and the different countries. we should be paying the best rates. we are not paying the best rates the way they have it now. trish: the fed meets? we'll see. president trump: we'll see. i'm not happy with the whole situation. we should have never raised interest rates like we did and what he should have a lower interest rate or fed rate right now. trish: they will criticize you for saying that. president trump: i know a lot about it. and i have a good instincts for that kind of thing.

i have all my life. we are doing phenomenally. buff we could have been up higher. we were paying zero, now we are paying interest. the federal reserve position is a very important position. he let me down. i think he's done the wrong thing. so far i have been 100% right. trish: the liberal media is taking aim at you saying you effectively lied about the number of injuries related to that strike in iraq. president trump: i haven't seen too much of that. i don't think they were looking to do too much damage because they knew what the consequences were going to be. when they said nobody was hurt, nobody was killed. we saw the missiles. 16, and 12 landed. they planned a way they didn't hit anybody. when they told me nobody was killed, i was impressed by that.

i' stopped something that would have been devastating for them. then a couple weeks later i started hearing about people having to do with trauma, head trauma. that exists. but i viewed it a little bit differently than most and i won't be changing my mind on that. trish: what do you think of my state? president trump: i love your state. this was a big win for me. we went on to south carolina. trish: you have got momentum now. president trump: we came here and won this by a lot. then we won south carolina by a lot. trish: it must feel good to have some of this stuff out of the way. president trump: it' driven our poll numbers way up as you know better than maybe i do. my poll numbers are the highest they have ever been by far. the republican party, the

it's not just because of donald trump's personality. he's a man who exudes confidence not only in himself, but in the american dream and this country. there are player cans still out there you saw in new hampshire tonight who enjoy that,' enjoy somebody who loves this country. donald trump has more people in a line to go to the bathroom at his rallies than the democrats can amass at bernie sanders rallies. donald trump is a master of the crowd and he's doing great things for the country and the american people want to see him firsthand. trish: you look at the success rate of the economy. i credit him with being bold on that front. a lot of the people say you can't cut corporate taxes, you won't have any revenue left for the government. he did it anyway. one thing the mainstream media

will not tell you, but they will not tell you we had the most in the way of tax revenues ever as soon as that was done. the more you grow the economy, the more taxes you have take in. >> absolutely. this president understands what many conservatives understand. the american people know how to best spend their money. and the companies and corporations that stren sthern this economy. this president knows that because this president is a businessman. he does things in the way he has always done. they like to heckle him and call him a reality tv star, but he has done great things for the american people. even those who hate him have to admit they are probably doing better than they were before he was in office. i think that's why you are seeing the large crowds come out

forward donald trump. the low turnout for the democrats, i suspect it's because the democrats are voting for donald trump this go around. trish: i spoke to one republican insider ahead of my interview as the stadium was filling up. he explained the democrats hosted an event just a few days ago in new hampshire. and they all took a section of the arena. and they couldn't felt arena with all of the democrat candidates the way he was able to fill it tonight. i know people -- crowd size, whatever, but, you know, talking to the people that were there tonight and seeing them all. then the thousands still outside in the 20 degree weather. i think it tells you something. it tells you how committed many americans are to him and his agenda. >> you see passion. and you don't have that on the
