[♪] trish: good evening, i'm trish regan, let's go straight to president trump speaking to a big crowd in colorado springs. president trump: they will take the top 10 out of the class. i said i will do it. i stood there for 2 1/hours in the sun. [cheers and applause] and i shook 1,156 hands. a lot of these kids are very strong physically. in fact you have one of them as

an example. he was the winner of the home run derby, did you know that? the college home run derby. i said let me see. he stands up in that uniform. i did something for the air force, but i did something for all of the academies. if you were a great athlete and they had a hard type recruiting though they have done well. we want to sort of get them to go but they didn't because they didn't want to serve five years in the military. so i had one of the teams and she said, sir, give us the waiver, sir. they have been after the waiver. that means if you are a great athlete you can go to the air force academy or army, navy, the coast guard. you can go to one of our service academies, we got it through congress. you can go directly into the

major leagues and nfl, and you serve your time after when you get out. isn't that great? and the army coach is a great guy. all great guys. said, sir, if you do that we can compete with anybody. we lost a lot of great athletes who said we can't do that. now they serve their time afterwards. they have been trying to get that for so many years. but i love that group of people. i saw this guy from the home run derby. and they couple, and they are strong people, and they are shake. they are excited, they are a little nervous, maybe. they are meeting the president. and they are strong. they have big strong hands. i'm saying hello. sir, thank you. i am the captain of the wrestling team, i admire you

greatly. and i'm trying to act like it doesn't hurt. by the end of the day i am going -- but we did it. then i said wait a minute. i said general, no other president could do that. >> he said they do, but they stop usually at around 50. i said that's great. but i lot of air course academy. you are being strongly considered for the placement. [cheers and applause] actually i to say, i think i can say this, mr. senator, the governor showed up at the plane today, your governor, democrat, he showed up because he wanted

to lobby to see if they could get it. that's okay. that's all right. and we are going to be making that decision, corey, when we make that decision. okay. but we destroyed the isis territorial caliphate 100%. we killed the founder and leader of isis. al-baghdadi. he's dead. and we just killed the world's number one terrorist quassem soleimani, ending his evil reign of terror forever. bomb. when you see these young men and some cases women, no legs, no arms, they get at 92% of them were from soleimani. then they started making them -- they had great detection. then all of a sudden the detection wasn't working because they started making them out of plastic instead of metal. so they are blowing the guys up with the scopes. they had the scopes on. that happened recently because they started making them out of plastic. real scum. but he's gone. he's evil. he's dead. and america is respected again like never before. but as we keep on winning, washington democrats keep on losing their minds. they have gone nuts.
8:06 pm
that's why millions of registered democrats, voters, people with the democrats for a long time, they are leaving their party to join our movement. they are joining our great republican party. we have more enthusiasm than any party has had in the last 50 years. and don't believe polls. they get phoney polls. i got a call two weeks ago. the great state of texas, they love me and i love them. remember beto, i was born for this. i said any guy who says that be they have problems. he's from texas.
8:07 pm
he came out against oil and gas, the bible and guns. abraham lincoln couldn't win texas. he's against religion, he's against guns, and he's against oil. somehow that doesn't work. but this happened four years ago. donald trump is in trouble in texas. i don't think so. i don't think so. then they announced tonight, 8:00, the polls have closed. they only announce if you are going to win by a lot. the polls have closed in the great state of texas. donald trump won the great state of texas. but they had alfred e. newman, little buttigieg.
8:08 pm
i said i have had you up to here. they had little buttigieg leading donald trump in texas. these people. but very close he said it's too close to call. this is the poll. where buttigieg -- a friend of mine from texas, a big powerful strong guy. he's got the big cowboy hat. i would love to wear that hat, i wouldn't need hairspray. i don't know if we could get away with it in washington. but this guy wears that big hat. he's a big guy. he's interviewed by somebody who says i don't know' about politics, but i can tell you one thing, buttigieg is not tied with the president. the president is leading him by 0 points. it's -- by 20 points. nobody is leading trump in texas and nobody is close to us in the

there thanking all his supporters. he's got a crowd of thousands there in colorado springs. he's naming them off one by one. a lot of locals in colorado and people who worked for his campaign. they are work alongside him. the president holding this rally. i want to bring into the conversation someone who is close to president trump, the assistant to the president on trade policy, peter navarro. the president getting a warm reception in colorado. people were waiting all day, days i should say to get in to see him. i saw a similar phenomenon in new hampshire. i didn't think he could get to 1,000 people in new hampshire, it's such a small state. but he packed the place and there were thousands outside waiting as well. what is it they are responding to? is it him? his personality?

8:18 pm
the the stock market much better, you just look at all the parameters, export demand for the trump administration up. trish: without a doubt. for obama to try and claim this is him, it's actually kinds of funny. you and i noticed a long time we were both around watching this economy pretty closely during the obama years. >> it was a flat line. it was stagnant. trish: it would sort of be like well it's not that great. but her in had any enthusiasm for america or the american job market. >> the continues between this president and everyone who has been there in the last 50 years. he day he gets up, his mission is to create jobs.

it's not just metro tough. it's like one job at a time. i'mn a guy in the manufacturing office in the white house. we are helping people in lima, ohio, or the f-16 in greenville, south carolina. all this happened is because this man, donald j. trump thinks about creating jobs one at a time. trish: up glad i had that chance to go to my hope state and interview them at the rally. >> there were more people outside than in. trish: we know we have got a good economy. peter navarro, thank you so many. you contrast that good economy with the socialism on the other side, the socialism we saw last night. and that's scary stuff.
8:20 pm
>> don't forget mercenary on the end getting beat up. bloomberg is going through the democratic party like the coronavirus virus. trish: i want to walk the viewers through all that. you contrast what we are seeing with donald trump right now and the success of that economy, the enthusiasm on stage to what? then there was one? only one man left standing on the democrat stable, the socialist millionaire with three homes in god help us. poor excuse for a democrat debate. at times was kind of uncomfortable. but you feel kind of guilty because you can't look away. this was like "survivor" presidential edition. there was no discussion of foreign affairs, tax policy.
8:21 pm
it was just one big mudslinging contest with no real winners. instead year judging the evening by who is still standing. right now it's the socialist who spent his honeymoon in the former soviet union slamming the up s. >> the best-known socialist in the country is a millionaire with three houses. what did i miss here? >> like thousands of others i do have a summer cabin. trish: a socialist with three homes, a socialist who is a millionaire. it's not like it's not allowed. under socialism it's supposed to be equal. but it's always fascinating how
