monday, the acting i.c.e. director matt albence will be among his guests. trish: another whistleblower. really? as global markets plummet and the world remains on evening, the democrats are sticking to their political playbook. coronavirus is all president trump's fault. good evening. a whistleblower from the health and human services department claiming health workers were not properly prepared to handle the americans coming in from wuhan, china. i have my doubts about this. why wouldn't you put on a haz-mat suit knowing what we

in the markets the last week. comrade bernie's rise ain't helping. it isn't helping investor confidence. bernie is expected to be the winner tuesday and our markets can and will reare cover from the coronavirus considering we have capitalists in the white house. but they won't recover from a socialist communist wannabe president. a socialist system in which manufacturers and creators of a vaccine will not be rewarded for their efforts. do you think there would be the say race to find a vaccine? no. we have seen it before when government controls a limited supply. government gets to decide who gets vaccine and who does not. in some cases, who lives and who does not. in 2009 i was pregnant with

twins. my twin girls. it was the height of the swine flu crisis. during the whole thick of it and pregnant one and children were considered the most vulnerable. there was barely any vaccines available in this country. pregnant women were tbhaight long lines, 8 hours all across the country for a chance at a vaccine. only be turned away because the community had run out in' cases. so you can imagine my surprise when i walk into work at the new york stock exchange one day where i hoped my daily market program, he said hey, trish, you need the vaccine, go upstairs, we have it. pardon me? the new york stock exchange? there aren't a lot of pregnant women or children running around. why would they have the vaccine?
1:06 am
but the doctors at nyu, the hospitals in new york city did not? why didn't pediatricians have the vaccine? ob-gyns in the city have the vaccine. i did some dig. it turned out it wasn't just the stock exchange. goldman sachs had the vaccine. morgan stanley had the vaccine. new york city investment banks had vaccine. but not one ob-gyn or pediatrician? you want to know why? because mike bloomberg's city health department decided to give the view vaccines they had to the banks and the stock exchange, not to the hospitals or the doctors for the people most at risk. not a lot of pregnant women on the floor of the stock exchange.
1:07 am
not a lot of the children and women at the investment banks. this was government controlled, government decided who gets the vaccine. i worked on this story overnight, and i led nbc's today show the very next morning. as a result some of the banks to their credit donated their vaccines to city hospitals. also as a result, mike bloomberg and his city health employees were shamed into finding a way to make the vaccine available to pregnant women and children. i point this out tonight because it deputy straight the danger of a government-controlled healthcare system. i know bernie hates the banks. so it probably wouldn't be the say scenario. you wouldn't be handing them out to wall street traders. but government controlling very few resources is never a good
1:08 am
thing. if there is no financial incentive to make a vaccine, you won't have many vaccines. let's face it. and let's face the fact that government screws up. the obama administration and mike bloomberg. mike bloomberg's health department made sure the city goss the vaccine and he screwed up. government prioritized the fat cats object squall street over women and children who needed the vaccine. before you say bernie wouldn't do that, it works both ways. can you manage if the left got the vaccine and who didn't. knowing under socialized medicine there would be such a small supply. if we could get any. we would all suffer. there what be very few vaccines and i never trust government to get this stuff right. private markets where everyone

we need to be willing to shut down our borders to any foreigners who have been exposed to it. that means not allowing anyone in that has been in china. as the president has done. and not allowing any other foreigners in that have been exposed elsewhere in the world. disturbing news out of italy to tell you about. towns there still under lockdown as the italian authorities report 21 deaths from the coronavirus with 821 confirmed cases. that's nearly 200 new cases in the past 24 hours, and those are just the ones we know about. italy has made the radical extremely selfish decision to not test anyone who has been exposed to the virus. but rather only people that show symptoms. given that the symptoms don't

appear for a couple weeks, and given an individual is contagious during that time. why are we allowing anyone into our country from italy. if italy doesn't know who has been exposed because italy is refusing to take propertier measures to monitor this. why do we have 5,000 people arriving in our country every single day from italy. it's time to get serious. if italians are too worried about their tourism revenue. and scaring people away, then we need to get smart. we need to ban foreigners with recent italian passport stamps. europe needs to know the world this this together and no one gets a free pass. joining me, foxnation host tomi lahren.
1:20 am
it's not rocket science. if you have been in italy and italy has a real problem, just like china. then you ought not to be coming here. >> there are certain political discussions wep have. when you are dealing with a health crisis, it isn't time to play politics and putting feeling over real health concerns and safety concerns. it's americans and america first. we need to do what we need to do to keep it out of the united states. it's been spreading sack europe, it has spread to the netherlands, france and germany. i am in california, we just got a news alert. we have a second case of an unknown source right here in california. we need to get smart. it's no time for feeling. trish: the left will say it's racist, it's prejudice.
1:21 am
but remember when the president said, listen, we don't know who has been trained by isis in syria and for that reason we are going to block certain countries in a travel ban from coming here. it's something the president chose to do to keep americans safe. i think we are coming up on that one again. if you can't control the virus in your country, if you are not willing to as italy is indicating they are not willing to, then you can't come here. what if you were to say, tomi, 10 airports that can accept international passengers, temporarily until we get this under control. would that be something that would be possible to look senate. >> i think we need to get more drastic than that. we never know who will be

exposed to these things. italy is putting their tourism industry in some cases their business interests ahead of their people. but we shouldn't allow them to put it ahead of our people. going back to the democrats and the way they are trying to spin this. they will use this coronavirus as their next witch hunt, mark my words. anything the president does, it will be pane underwell with manying response or racist. watch the democrats, watch pooms how they use this for their naive tough, they are lower and low and they are pathetic. trish: they are willing to watch our economy suffer. they are willing to watch our markets saw and they are willing to watch our people suffer. one cnn contributor says certain black trump supporters aren't
