strategy to meet the threat of the virus throughout this country. tonight we have an exclusive interview with the vice president. we take up the casualties of this disease, the science and medicine that arthur weapons in the administration's war against the virus. president trump's decisive action almost immediately restricting travel travel into this country from china and south korea. it's not been credited with constraining the outbreak. president trump reiterated he will close off the united states to cross-border travel if indeed there is a threat to americans. >> as certain areas be more of a problem, we may close them off as we have done in worse areas at this moment. you have at hand because it's going down slowly. in some cases, the whole country with certain areas within countries. we are doing a good job of that. lou: house of representatives today passed a funding bill to

address the coronavirus outbreak. the senate picks up the measure tomorrow. in the united states, there are at least 129 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. eleven americans have died, nine have recovered. overall, more than 95000 people around the world have contracted the high-risk more than 3200 of them have died. more than 51000 have now recovered from the disease. president trump and his administration showing the world once again how to handle an international crisis, working to combat coronavirus with a dedicated task force meant the president chose to protect american lives that task force is mike pence. i had the opportunity to talk with him today about what the task force is learning, how they

or med chest, we need laboratories to work and literally, just moments ago, i was informed our commercial laboratories have also formed a construction, they'll work closely together to rule testing out by the thousands of additional tests within the next week and literally, we want this test to be available people all across the country. by partnering with laboratories. we know we can make that happen in the weeks ahead. lou: you have a deadline or when they will be available? >> as i mentioned, i talked to governor this morning, thanks to the fda efforts this weekend, the president direction, now state laboratories can conduct coronavirus tests on their own under an approved procedure. around the country, they can do the same. state iraq across the country

can conduct this test but we have kids going out, 2500 kids hospitals around the country and particularly areas affected that have requested it. again, doctor burke shared with me was more important to millions of americans who may be concerned about this, if there's a case of coronavirus in a community is literally to be able to go to your local doctor, to go to your minute clinic and it will be available. we think literally will have thousands of the tests in the process through our commercial laboratories next week and believe it or not, i was just told given the immense capacity of our commercial laboratories, they told me within a matter of weeks it could be in the millions. lou: i looked at your schedule, i know you are going to be, you've always been the busiest in the office, you're going to be even busier now. we wish you godspeed, appreciate

welcome back, supreme court today hearing arguments about a law in louisiana. a law that requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges to nearby hospitals. it's the first abortion case to face the supreme court since the arrival of justices kavanaugh and gorsuch. during a planned parenthood rally outside the high court, senate minority showed up and chuck schumer made this threat against the trump appointed justices. >> i want to tell you, i want to tell you kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price.

will senator chuck grassley says the united states needs to ease up on enforcing pays phase one of the china trade deal because of the coronavirus irises. he feels china can apparently seal our intellectual property because of the virus, it's also the united states they should be given some considerable slack in the familiar position senator grassley to take and not one that makes a lot of sense. senator ron johnson said he'll have his first report on hundred bidens ties to the ukrainian energy company, burisma in a month or two. i have the senate homeland security committee says americans should know why hundred bidens was paid millions of dollars without any experience in the energy sector. lindsey graham today this is judiciary committee is assisting with johnson's investigation.

pfizer court was quoted because of abuse. we have to keep the pfizer system but title i pfizer has been involved since the late 70s needs to be changed. we can't allow our intelligence agencies and this court to be westernized against a political party. the president is exactly right, we've had many members who are republican we are all on the same page that we have to change title i pfizer to make sure the abuses don't happen. lou: it's clear we got to reform the levels of the fbi, politically corrupt with that question. >> the democrats are going to try to sweep us hundred. there's a section that's up for renewal right now and i think they are going to sweep us under the rug. pfizer does do a lot of good things. it keeps us safe and at the same time, it can't be used to target us. lou: it's odd that it would be called the foreign intelligence act because it's the intelligent
