address the coronavirus outbreak. the senate picks up the measure tomorrow. in the united states, there are at least 129 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. eleven americans have died, nine have recovered. overall, more than 95000 people around the world have contracted the high-risk more than 3200 of them have died. more than 51000 have now recovered from the disease. president trump and his administration showing the world once again how to handle an international crisis, working to combat coronavirus with a dedicated task force meant the president chose to protect american lives that task force is mike pence. i had the opportunity to talk with him today about what the task force is learning, how they

are confronting the virus and we began our conversation with what the american people need to know and no right now. >> the most important thing the american people should know is that according to all of our experts, who risk contracting the coronavirus remains low. nevertheless, beginning in january, presidential action, suspending all travel from china, quarantined americans who came home. we've established screening in italy and south korea while we put travel advisories on areas of those countries our focus is specifically now. i'm putting the health and safety of americans first. we have over 100 americans who contracted the disease, most are recovering and doing well. i'll meet with the government and intra- state of washington has all they need to confront

or med chest, we need laboratories to work and literally, just moments ago, i was informed our commercial laboratories have also formed a construction, they'll work closely together to rule testing out by the thousands of additional tests within the next week and literally, we want this test to be available people all across the country. by partnering with laboratories. we know we can make that happen in the weeks ahead. lou: you have a deadline or when they will be available? >> as i mentioned, i talked to governor this morning, thanks to the fda efforts this weekend, the president direction, now state laboratories can conduct coronavirus tests on their own under an approved procedure. around the country, they can do the same. state iraq across the country

can conduct this test but we have kids going out, 2500 kids hospitals around the country and particularly areas affected that have requested it. again, doctor burke shared with me was more important to millions of americans who may be concerned about this, if there's a case of coronavirus in a community is literally to be able to go to your local doctor, to go to your minute clinic and it will be available. we think literally will have thousands of the tests in the process through our commercial laboratories next week and believe it or not, i was just told given the immense capacity of our commercial laboratories, they told me within a matter of weeks it could be in the millions. lou: i looked at your schedule, i know you are going to be, you've always been the busiest in the office, you're going to be even busier now. we wish you godspeed, appreciate

welcome back, supreme court today hearing arguments about a law in louisiana. a law that requires abortion doctors to have admitting privileges to nearby hospitals. it's the first abortion case to face the supreme court since the arrival of justices kavanaugh and gorsuch. during a planned parenthood rally outside the high court, senate minority showed up and chuck schumer made this threat against the trump appointed justices. >> i want to tell you, i want to tell you kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price.

by the deep state and some of the elements of the republican establishment leadership. >> well, this is it in a nutshell. on march 15 there are three provisions that are set to expire, that is the roving wiretaps which basically means anytime somebody changes their cell phone out, the fbi can just listen. the lone wolf, which is a person not connected to a terrorist, and section 215 which basically allows the fbi to collect all kinds of data without a warrant on businesses. but title i, which is what they violated under carter page, that provision never expires. so they actually have to go after these three provisions before they sunset. and i'm telling you, as far as civil libertarians are concerned and people that really care about our constitution, the fourth amendment here is at stake, and those changes need to be made. lou: and i like one group thats'
