so far this morning, crude oil is trading down at 32 dollars a barrel at one point it was under 30. well that cruise ship the grand princess quarantined for coronavirus will dock in okay land, california, today been hovering off the coast with thousands of passengers for days. cheryl: seeing california out their windows. aishah hasnie tells us what happens todays. good morning. reporter: good morning lauren, cheryl, so california's governor is stretionzing that his team still doesn't know exactly when that cruise liner will dock in okay land. but it should happen some time today. there are more than 20 people confirmed onboard to have the coronavirus. passenger who is need medical attention will get off first. but the coast guard has already medevaced with one not related to the virus. rest of the 3500 people onboard will go to military post in california, texas, and georgia for testing and a 14-day

up today say don't come l toking work we're not going to work today. lauren: gosh phil can we talk ab silver lining would be that fact that gas prices are down 14 days in a row, 2.38 is the average this morning. i mean, does that go under $2 nationally? >> it does. ting does. based off future prices we're down about about 22 cents gallon we're down even more than that overnight and this is a sustain price war we could see prices fall 50 cents gallon so that is going to give the u.s. economy a little bit of a boost. but it's going to need it because we're going see a lot of layoffs because of this and potentially see bankruptcies. so this thing doesn't level out here pretty quickly if saudi arabia doesn't relent there's going to be a lot more pain before it gets better. lauren: where's the bottom? >> i mean right now i'm look at a, you know, this morning it was kind of interesting. we're thinking 25 could hold we've got below 30 it is back up today. but it is really going to be an event.

lauren and cheryl. cheryl: stay with us thank you as we, of course, continue to cover the coronavirus the death toll from the virus has rise opinion to more than 3800 worldwide and number of confirm cases here at home growing to at least 400. what are some steps that a healthy person can take to avoid contracting the coronavirus? let's bring in matt he's an infectious disease specialist. doctor, good morning. >> good morning. cheryl: let's talk about about that. because there's a limited amount of test which we'll get to in a second but what kind of healthy person do and maybe they can't stop being exposed but somewhat control how their body reacts to the virus? >> there's not much that you can do if you've been exposed but you can try to minimize your chance of exposure by washing your hands a lot and not touching your face as much but this is a virus that's spreading in the community so it is going to be very hard to completely avoid. there's not something specific you can do to kind of blunt response of your immune system to the virus or try to avoid it once you've been exposed kind of

a matter of chance whether or not the infection takes or not. we with don't have preventive measures at this point so if you get exposed chances are a high exposure you may become symptomatic with it but may not have any kind of negative consequence. cheryl: let's talk about body in particular and responds to any virus even though the flu, the common cold, it is the immune system and there are thingses that you say that we can do to strengthen our immune system like staying hydrated and maybe, you know, not stressing so much if we can manage our stress levels. i think we've got points to bring up to viewers here but there are things to protect ourselves and strengthen immune system. >> justing being generally healthy is something that can help you peenged off viruses so you don't have severe symptoms that includes hydrated getting adequate sleep. control your stress making sure you have a nutritious diet all of those type of things are general health principles that help with it. cheryl: manage chronic
