charged with third-degree murder, the now fired police officer is one of four people who were at the scene but the first to be arrested in connection with floyd's murder. prosecutors say three other police officers that were on the scene are also being investigated. >> we can only charge in case we have sufficient evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt. as of right now, we have that. i'm not going to speculate the other officers, they are under investigation, i anticipate charges but i am not going to get into that. reporter: 's arrest followed a hair weighing riots to the strata minneapolis, protesters angry that it took prosecutors four days to bring charges against derek chauvin, they raided and set fire to a precinct last night. the minnesota governor putting the city under a curfew, tonight and bringing in the national guard to help contain the violence, the president says he has spoken to floyd's family and

expressed our for their loss, he also says he hopes the national guard being on the ground will help contain the violence. >> the looters should not be allowed to drown out the voices of so many peaceful protesters everywhere, we are speaking with the family and hopefully everything can be fairly taking care of, the family of george is entitled to justice and the people of minnesota are entitled to live in safety. reporter: the d.o.j. says they are also investigating this case along with fbi attorney general bill barr issuing the statement this afternoon saying the video images of the incident that ended with the death of mr. floyd while in custody of minneapolis police officers were harrowing to watch a deeply disturbing, the department justice or conducting an independent investigation to determine whether any federal

much sympathy people have with the dignity and integrity of what you're saying. were seeing protest spreading to new york city, los angeles, phoenix, denver, louisville, kentucky, columbus, memphis, tennessee, shots were fired and the state capital in denver where states were marching there. more than 170 businesses looted or damage, dozens of fire set, we're coming on 104,000 covid-19 deaths, people are feeling vulnerable right now, you have been such a great messenger for peace, you talk to us about peace, how your uncle was about peace, you been so good about talking about the shared vulnerability and profound sympathy for one another. can you talk to us how this is the new american moment to re-articulate who america is and who we are as a country. >> this is a moment in america to remember the words of the prophet of martin luther king jr., he said i have decided to

stick with love, hate is too difficult, a burden to bear. he also said and spoke that violence is the voice of the unheard, however, when people are heard and they can be heard through the leaders of the community who are encouraging and pray to seek unity to seek love and seek understanding, people will only panic and become scared and violent when they do not have hope, this is time especially in our administration of the white house and all of the instructions with the payroll assistance, the how to covid-19 safely and as the deaths go down and were finding that they are actually going down, there are a lot of deaths but there's many people who are surviving covid-19. it is very important at this time for us to give clear instructions, definite hope, guidance, the president is

correct in saying when you have looting, people will begin to panic and shoot and people will die, he does not want americans dying and we do not want americans dying. that strong statement for martin luther king jr., nonviolence is the answer, we must stick with love, hate is a burden that we do not want to try to test. liz: you are talking about how it is to be an american, a gift and a test to live up to a humanity of america. you see the unique dignity and all of us as individuals as who we are, what good can be made from the hardships here, were seeing the looting and were seeing good police officers, people in law enforcement upset with what happened in minneapolis, going forward what is the good that can be made from the hardship. >> regardless of skin color, social economic conditions, we must remember that we are human

beings, i often say from the wound to the tomb, the baby, the sick, the young, the old, we are human beings, we are one human race and my uncle also said we must learn to live together and we will perish together, when we value the human personality regardless of skin color, we will not kill anybody. we've got to bring the humanity into the picture and love each other with compassion, hope and even dylan went covid-19, we do social distance, i do it well, i'm 70 years old and i was sheltering quite a bit but we follow the guidelines and you did not ask me about church but even as the churches are reopening, we are asking that people sanitize, distance, instead of trying to hug each other, you can just love each

executive order twitter collie that reactionary and politicized to try to rollback social media legal shield, the legal protection from lawsuits of the third-party content on the website, the way the law is written, the legal shield can protect social media from lawsuits over them blocking others content including conservatives. let's welcome first amendment expert from the heritage foundation. this is lit up the republican conservative world, they feel their serious biased against them on social media, here is the problem in executive order cannot change, congress would have to change, the president cannot do that, there's no consensus and other conservative are saying they don't like it, unplug your own account. >> a majority of the public actually believes there's ideological biased in the social media platform and they are worried that their centering speech.

twitter claims its a platform not a publisher. but the fact check it did of the president raises serious question about whether they are acting as an editor and what the president has done about executive order and he has authority to do that, he has told federal agencies not to spend advertising dollars on social platforms that actually have restrictive free-speech policies and is asking federal agencies like department of justice to examine whether there engaging in unfair and deceptive trade practices. that's something that federal agencies do with all kinds of industries. in the government is going to take a hard look at whether tech companies are abusing their immunity which is a privilege not a right. liz: let's listen to attorney general barr, i like your reaction what the attorney

general said about this. let's listen. >> now that they have to come to the powerful networks, by holding themselves out with free public forums have now switched and they're using that market power with particular viewpoints, that is wrong. i think if twitter were not honorable and you're going to have a guy like this be the judge and jury, i think you shut it down as far as i'm concerned but all have to go through a legal process. liz: the president cannot just shut them down, critics have said that. here's the thing, jack dorsey of twitter, ceo of twitter testified in 2018, he admitted twitter censored and blanked out 600,000 accounts in search results because of their followers, many are conservative, that violated impartiality, he is admitting to it. that is the issue here, were an election year, these guys have a lot of power.

and ballot across the country, this is a fight that started the presidents battle with twitter, this happened after california is moving to do paper mail and ballot even if voters do not request them, more state and local officials are speaking out saying there is fraud in paper mail in ballots. let's welcome former wisconsin governor scott walker. great to have you on, we love having you back on. we're hearing reports of fraud, reports of fraud and paper mail in ballots in pennsylvania, new jersey, nevada, your reaction to the story? >> we should make it easy to vote in hard to cheat, weaker time and time again the problems that we have particularly when we do one 100% mail in ballots, one of the ncaa leaders in new jersey is calling for a new election and the city council race where the governor of new jersey called 100% vote by mail election and they threw out a ton of the ballots because allegations of fraud, this is

something that should not be done and we have to be clear, were not talking about getting rid of absentee ballots, those on the left states not any different, baloney, when you give every voter when they still live at that location or not, you send them a ballot through the mail with fraud problems in the future, we should keep those in person and for legitimate cases allow people to vote for absentee ballot where they have to ask work to be sent to them. liz: last week, allegheny county in pennsylvania, the top election official in the county admitted that duplicate ballots were sent to registered voters, they did not know how many were sent. nobody knows how much fraud is in melt under mailing ballots, they say it's minimal but there is antidotal and other evidence showing that there is, patterson new jersey is this what you are talking about, toss out the city council vote by mail election, the paper ballot, a fifth of

them are problematic in many fraudulent. i want you to take a listen to the ohio state secretary saying she is worried that paper mailing ballots do have fraud problems in their in that. let's watch the state executive. >> vote by mail is done well, it can be a convenient secure safe option for people to cast a ballot. if it's done poorly it can lead to problems logistical and fraud problems and everything else. i know with that in colorado, ohio we put safeguards in place. liz: i want you to take a listen, we played it last night again to now democrat house judiciary, jerry nadler, democrat jerry nadler said in 2004, mail and paper ballots are extremely success double the fraud. >> in my experience in new york

paper ballots are extremely susceptible to fraud. and at least with the old clunky voting machines that we have in new york, deliberate fraud is way down, compared to paper, when the machines breakdown they vote on paper, we have real problems, i want paper somewhere but p paper with no machines, i can show you experience which will make your head spin. liz: make your head spin, deliberate fraud and paper mailing ballots, your reaction, now you don't hear anything from democrats about that. >> no in fact, they're acting like they have in nietzsche about this whole thing, jimmy carter raised concerns about voting by mail even as the former dnc chair and congressman from florida who raise concerns in the past, why because if there legitimate cases, is a prime example in a partisan issue, it's a local election and

when he had governor murphy calling on 100% of the election had to be done by mail, tremendous problems, we are not talking about as you just heard from ohio, were not saying you can't do absentee ballots, the spring in wisconsin, my entire family, myself, my wife, my adult children, all of us voted by absentee because of the lockdown in the state, there's a set process we had to request absentee ballot, we had to show and send our photo id and all the safeguards it made sense. if you just mail it like they're talking about california and when you talk about doing it nationwide, it opens the door to ring in the next election, we certainly do not want that. liz: that's a great point about absentee nealon ballots pre-come back soon. great insight. next up, dni john ratcliffe

was no collusion but then you went on tv and lied to the american people over and over again saying there was trump russia collusion when you eric swalwell took testimony saying otherwise. what is your take when you saw this fight, it's a hot one. >> i obviously agree with richard grenell having seen these documents and even before that having seen other information about how the whole charade was carried out. swalwell was carrying water for the deep state establishment and he went on television and lied and by the way he's a former prosecutor, that was his job before he went into congress immediately before that, he knows better than to misconstrue and to lie and to take things out of context to achieve political ends. it is shameful lawyer would do that, i think richard grenell has the best of that argument and the best thing here is a transparency. you see someone screaming in washington over the release of

who and the health of organization, what humanitarian aid do you think the u.s. can do for these countries south of the border, can they do more? >> i think the united states already sends billions of dollars to these countries to help them, what hurts, when you continue to send out enticements and young states like california, washington state, new york, illinois, all those governors and legislators are offering thousands of dollars to illegal aliens of the covid relief, when folks in populations that hear things like that and they want to embellish ice, like new york you get a drivers license, law enforcement talk to law enforcement you can talk to them because there's a felony. these things when you have other issues going on and people are worried about their future to offer all those enticements, is going to drive and entice mormon people to put themselves in harm's way, the united states is the most giving country, we welcome our refugees than any country in the world and we sends billions of dollars of aid, we're doing a lot for these
