but i don't think he'll turn down more money for fbi operations against china, do you? [laughter] if. lou: well, it sounded as if he was sanguine about it all. if meanwhile, the chinese are stealing, as you know, some $of $of -- $600 billion of intellectual property still no matter the phase one agreement, no matter anything else. they're still stealing with both hands in any way they can, instructing their overseas population to remember who they work for, and that is the communist party expect motherland. what are we to make of that? >> well, it's a comprehensive speech, and the good news is his proposal, without quite saying is so, to realign the fbi to protect american innovation. he said it several times, that china's out to -- lou: god almighty. >> -- by stealing innovation. in other words, the fbi, they used to catch bank robbers, mafia, spies out of embassies to

[laughter] >> he wants the fbi to get help, the country, where the chinese are stealing innovation. even gave the example of pulling up seeds and finding some seeds that are genetically modified, they know about it. they fly these seeds back to china to reverse engineer it. this is something the fbi's never done before so, obviously, they need more money and more agents to do it. lou: and they've got a director that says that they don't. and, by the way, you know, this hasn't been g-men with 1911
