reporter: the president has tweeted about the swamp, that he wants to drain over the past month. the white house saying the president will not stop tweeting even though twitter faced a massive hack just 24 hours ago. >> dan and his team in digital have been in constant contact with twitter the last 18 hours to keep twitter secure, the president's twitter feed. his account was secure and not jeopardized during these attacks reporter: top accounts from former vice president joe biden to bill gates, elon musk were hacked and posted a link for a bitcoin scam. bipartisan member of the senate intelligence committee calling on a hearing for the hacking of twitter. bottom line, twitter said an employee was targeted and allowed hackers access. the fbi is investigating we advise the public not to fall victim to the scam by sending cryptocurrency or money in

people. elizabeth: let's welcome deputy assistant to president trump, he is ja'ron smith, he is back with us. reaction to the president and his record? >> president is showing the leadership he has been showing the last four years. killing red tape, getting rid of old regulation leads us back to prosperity. our team is focused getting the economy back going and creating opportunity for all americans. elizabeth: you know, here's the thing, monmouth university is saying that one out of six pennsylvania voters are saying hey, wait a second, the trump voter doesn't talk to voters, doesn't reveal who they are going to vote for. a democrat said, watch out democrats, the polls routinely undercount trump voters. the polls may not be catching the trump voter who will go into the ballot box and pull the lever. here is the other story, ja'ron, i want your reaction to this americans want to feel safe. when you look at the polls they routinely say we need to feel

safe and want the economy to prosser. what is your reaction to the country's largest police group encores endorsing president last night and not endorsing joe biden after endorsing him in 2008 and 2012. >> i'm not shocked. he has done things to make sure we don't get rid of qualified immunity. make sure we have due process dealing with bad cops. those are thing that nape like fop and icp. they create opportunities in our inner cities and distressed communities across the country. elizabeth: ja'ron, i want your reaction to the leader of the national association of police organizations. it has got 241,000 cops. it represents 1000 police organizations. let's listen to its leader, nick mcheal why they are supporting

trump. >> there are many issues that president trump has supported that is of utmost important to the rank-and-file officers throughout the united states that we represent and as a result of the screening process which took place earlier today, we proudly announce our endorsement for president trump. president trump addressed our board on monday. the same opportunity was given to vice president biden. and as to why the actual participation did not occur, i would defer you to the vice president and/or the leadership of his campaign. elizabeth: it's striking, ja'ron, that the biden campaign didn't even address napo. your reaction? >> my reaction is at the end of the day we want to make sure our police departments get the resources they need to do their job and keep communities safe. i think that any individual, if

their back is against the wall, and they have a problem in their community, you calling 911. you want those percent responders to be able to show up and help you feel safe. especially if you're under attack. so, i think the president recognizes that. we even celebrated them this week, with a couple of heroes who saved lives of american americans throughout the country. elizabeth: let's watch former nypd police commissioner bernie kerik talk to us last night about what is going on in new york city and mayor bill de blasio. he says, quote, he is ruining new york. watch this. >> he will completely annihilate the city. he is allowing the criminals to get out of prison. he is bringing them off of rikers. he is not putting anybody in jail for things they have done. he handcuffed the cops, completely handcuffed the cops from the job they have do and as a result we're seeing systemic

slaughter of black men and women in the communities of color and he is not doing a damn thing about it. elizabeth: okay. now watch patrick lynch, he is the leader of the police benevolent association here in new york. watch the former missouri governor, and watch carmen best, chief of police in seattle. watch this. >> our city council, our mayor's office and the state legislature have handcuffed police officers and given the streets back to the criminals. >> as a navy seal this is what you expect to happen in places like iraq and afghanistan but unfortunately now it's happening in places like st. louis and in cities across the country. last night we had semiautomatic gunfire ringing out in the daylight at a crowded intersection, in a place where people used to take the families. >> we'll be much less safe if they take 50% of the cops off the street. they don't have a plan that i heard to do anything to maintain public safety in the meantime.

elizabeth: yeah. seattle talking about cutting its police budgets in half. your reaction to all the sound bites you heard. >> what i would say you can't politicize public safety. public safety is essential for all americans to achieve the american dream. when you see a one-year-old or four-year-old getting shot, we need our law enforcement officers to be there to protect those families. the truth ever the matter is, this stuff hasn't happened overnight. this stuff has been in the making in some of these cities for over four years. they should be held accountable, accountable to those people to make sure that they improve the safety of those communities and also work on creating opportunities for those citizens. the people are frustrated with some of this leadership in the political activism against the police. it needs to stop. the president is willing to step in and do something to help everyone feel safe. elizabeth: all right. ja'ron, thank you so much for joining us. >> thanks so much, liz. elizabeth: okay. president trump said he will make announcement potentially

including a one-year-old baby boy in brooklyn. the march was led by christian, muslim, affect leaders and law enforcement and black veterans for social justice. protesters beat them up with baseball bats. unclear if they are the same baseball bats. police officers, four officers were injured including the navy of the nypd. he is fired up. he is mad about this. david webb of the david webb show. david, your reaction to this? >> what we see growing is an environment, emac, the police are the target, because those criminals, that is what you are when you assault a police officer, are emboldened to carry out actions. they don't fear retribution in the case of new york from bill de blasio and his administration. they don't fear in seattle from jenny durkan or in atlanta from

mayor bowser in. the crime sparks in the summer, hot nights, hot weekend. we see this added to it, that fear of authority, disrespect of authority plays out in the communities. this has an immense cost to the community because crime drives business out. it harms the community. it increases the danger to live there. and it increases the cost of living in these cities because when businesses leaves, joblessness rises. as a result, taxes go down. tax revenues go down. so the cycle leads to economic devastation if it goes far enough. elizabeth: yeah. i want to get to this. we've got news coming in. head of new york state troopers police benevolent association, he is now saying state troopers are getting out of new york city because de blasio has lost control. he signed into law legislation that will undercut law enforcement. we've been reporting, david,

mexico is battling the most violent drug cartel to date. it is setting up drug distribution centers in cities moving to defund police. talking l.a., chicago, new york. the justice department brought charges against the ms-13 gang. 22 members charged. one guy getting hit with the death penalty. up with hit with terrorism charges. this is what the cities are dealing with. this is what the federal government is dealing with. this is what the trump administration is dealing with. i want to show indianapolis police released images of people involved or may have witnessed murder of jessica whiter, the young mother, nurse that was shot dead in front of her fiance. the president will get pushback sending federal officials coming in. the expected push back against that? >> with the powers given to the president, the executive and it does exist, despite what they tell you, it is time for the president to take a stronger stand under the constitution

than what is allowed. you bring up the state police. agencies work together. state police can bring certain things to the table, working across agency lines, county lines, jurisdictions. that's important. when they leave, you lose a resource for the nypd. it is important to have these agencies working together. as far as the federal government, there are a lot of tools they can employ, including federal funding for these programs that have existed outside and long before the trump administration, that has law enforcement working as agents of the federal government in the sense that they work in consort, in concert with them. so we have got to have some action. if these community go down further and further, the president, i know cares about these communities and every american citizen. he has talked about this long before he was president and it is about time that we have some more coordination. elizabeth: yeah.

are the american people, american voters getting information about how many prisoners have been let out? because ucla is now tracking it. ucla law school, david, more than 106,000 prisoners have been let out of jails and prison through the covid-19 fears. there is questions about crimes being committed again. your reaction to that, david? do you think americans are aware of what is going on? >> i think they're aware but maybe they're not getting the numbers properly presented to them. fortunately on radio every day i have a little more time but me say this, this is the multiplier effect. if you have the environment we talked about, people emboldened to attack police, criminals being let out of jail, other criminals still on the street, coronavirus did not kill criminality, when you add all that together, they commit not one, not two, but multiple crimes. not just about the murders, robberies, assaults, the thefts. when you look at this, look at your neighborhoods around america where crime is growing

false. conspiracy between rush these are career veterans. did obama officials ignore them, dismiss them and why? welcome former director of national intelligence and former ambassador to germany, he is ric grenell. great to have you, sir. what is your reaction. >> thanks for having me. it's a pleasure to be here. i have to say that the ways of washington are to hold information in your hands and then define it for the public and never let the public see the actual documents. and that is exactly what has been happening. we've had politicians for years, let me be very clear, that republicans have done this, democrats have done this, but lately it has been largely adam schiff that has done this. he knows specifically what information there is that show early on in this whole russian

probe in the whole steele dossier, russia collusion narrative, he knew there were voices inside the intelligence community, career officials, were raising red flags, saying i think russia is pushing propaganda here. this doesn't make sense. this doesn't add up. the steele dossier is not what you're saying that it is. those early red flags were ignored and those individuals within the intelligence community that raised those red flags were, their comments were classified and pushed away. there are still reports that need to be released to the public that show this to be true and when the full picture is seen by the public then i think there will be sufficient out reining that we were sold a russian collusion narrative that from the very beginning people were saying this is not what it looks like. elizabeth: who were these veteran intelligence officials?

who were these career intelligence officials? what agencies did they work at? who besides adam schiff was ignoring them? >> well, first of all the career intelligence officials are broad. they're in multiple agencies. there is not just one agency. and that really proves the holes that were known from the beginning. these individuals are not leaking to reporters. they could have stood up from the very beginning but the fact of the matter is when you leak intelligence, raw intelligence, unverified intelligence, any type of intelligence, it's illegal and most people within the intelligence community realize that and they don't leak. they're professionals but i will tell you that my time at odni, i had multiple people, career intelligence officials come to me and say they don't want to brief washington politicians. they don't want to go up to capitol hill and talk about

classified briefings, even in a classified setting because they don't want their careers to be completely ruined by politicians who would leak half information, partial information, untruths and then suddenly, their names are leaked as saying one thing or giving some sort of a political weight to another. and they don't want that. they really shied away from going up to capitol hill. this is a big problem, when we don't have intelligence officials willing to speak, openly willing to speak because they're afraid for their careers to be damaged by the politicians that are leaking against them. elizabeth: okay. so how soon did the fbi and obama administration officials know that the trump russia narrative was false? how early in 2016 did they know? were they required to disclose what they knew and when they knew it?

>> they certainly weren't required to disclose it because they can hide behind the classified information veil but they knew very early on, some of the reports, certainly the footnotes and transcripts that we've seen, you can just see the evidence is there, when i was at the office of director of national intelligence, what i tried to do is remember that the more information we can zare the share the better. transparency is our friend. transparency is not political. it is in the best interests of the american people but i go back to, you know, whether it is the "gang of eight," the eight individuals in congress who are in charge of classified information and classified briefings, holding that information, we have seen that the "gang of eight" and the leaks that come out from just providing classified information to a small group, that controlled message, really irritates other members of

incredibly focused bringing human rights abuses in china to the world to make sure people realize there are over one million muslims that we know of, uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in china imprisoned simply for the crime being of the muslim faith. we have reports from a german researcher, women in these camps are ordered to undergo forced abortions and forced sterilization. some companies are reportedly being involved in human hair, what some women use to create extensions or wigs or something like that, that some of the human hair may have come from the forced labor camps. undersecretary keith croft at the state department has issued a warning to american businesses to make sure you're not involved with the forced labor camps in china. american business, american hollywood, the american public and our elite especially need to wake up to these gross human rights abuses we're seeing in

china. some of the worst things we've seen, liz since ward war two. elizabeth: morgan,ag barr is pointing out here in the united states, hollywood lives in a bubble. hollywood celebrities live in a bubble. the oscar ratings are dropping. they have been plummeting like a rock because americans don't want to be lectured to by hollywood. now this double standard with their, we just showed, the movies, it is mission impossible, it is "batman," wonder woman. those are financed by china. china get as big propaganda coup go to looks hollywood on our side while they're running prison camps, having forced abortions, torturing prisoners and political dissident as well. what is going in hollywood here?

when is hollywood going to take accountability for their double standard? >> what is troubling, liz, not necessarily the money coming in from chinese invest force for a movie. what is troubling when that money leads to the censorship of the movie and censorship of some sort of speech or something. it may not even be visible to the american people but when you can allow the chinese communist party to edit, have some sort of rights over final cut of the a movie american people will see, one has to question. look what happened with the nba when ever players were tweeting out in support of a free hong kong. you can put reportedly anything you want on a nba jersey but can't put free hong kong. in hong kong we've seen the chinese communist party come in, erode freedom, erode autonomy, to erode democracy. this stuff is real. this is a pattern of behavior we've seen from the chinese communist party. this administration is exposing

"times" in hot water again. >> where was that story, in "the new york times"? well "the new york times" is fake news. [reporters shouting questions]

"the new york times" alleging basically that the liberty university allowed students infected with the coronavirus to come back on the campus, to come back to the university. now "the times" denies it. "the times" did respond to our query about it. we'll show you what "the times" said about it in just a second.

liberty university said "the new york times" did not call to the school physician, misrepresented a doctor cited in its own story. talk about it with republican strategist ford o'connell. great to have you back on. liberty university is alleging, rather, saying no student, staff, or faculty member has been diagnosed with covid-19 and, they're saying they, asked for the story to be retracted. "new york times" saying no. your reaction? >> well, look i think liberty about university is absolutely right. they need to hold "the new york times" accountable for this type of hit-and-run journalism. i really hope they see this all the way through. we know why "the new york times" was so vicious and unfair to liberty university. because they bucked conventional media think when it came to reopening schools and they're frankly a christian institution that showed praise for donald john trump. had this been harvard or northwestern, opened schools last spring, this coverage would be more fair. if you don't hold them in

accountable financial pinch they will continue to do this. elizabeth: right at same time the opinion editor bari weiss quit saying there is hard left intolerant culture censoring moderates and centrists. the times also hit with another problem. it has to do with ethics, ford. it is backtracking on a july 12th story that claimed anonymous 30-year-old guy who thought the covid-19 was a hoax, he was in san antonio. he died after going to a covid party. now the times updated his story it can't independently verify that story. san antonio health department says they can't verify it either. so, let's show the viewers, there is another question about ethics. "the times," ford, routinely changing its headlines after the fact but doesn't really inform the reader what it is doing about corrections or updates. we've been tracking this. show the viewer what we found. ford, your reaction to this? >> i think that we need to listen to bari weiss and what

she is talking about "the new york times" wanting to pacify the far left and vocal minority on social media when it comes to its editorial page. unfortunately not just the editorial page. ♪. elizabeth: okay. senate judiciary chair lindsey graham told hannity last night that the public has the right to see a key 40-page fbi memo from the trump russia investigation. it shows a source that

christopher steele used, he is a russian source. this russian source told the fbi early on in january 2017, way before the robert mueller probe started, that the fbi was being misled in its trump-russia probe by christopher steele. this russian source, remember, he is working for christopher steele, told the fbi christopher steele was giving it unreliable information. steele was misleading the fbi but the fbi used christopher steele's information against trump anyway. let's listen to senator graham. >> the russian was on christopher steele's payroll. he wasn't a contractor. but after you talk to the guy who put the memo together and you got a 40-page document explaining why it is not reliable, and you use it after that, you're really in trouble. i want that mem me out to the public so they can read it for themselves. i think we're days away from having it declassified, not weeks. here is my point. anybody that read that memo or

was briefed about the memo and continued to use the dossier to get a warrant against carter page in april and june of 2017, they're in big-time trouble. elizabeth: okay. let's break it down with former california republican gubernatorial candidate john cox. john, i want to break this down. >> hey, liz. elizabeth: what is striking a number of things. it is good to see you. it was a russian source by christopher steele. this guy says steele is not reliable. it is 40 pages of details. it's a january 2017 fbi interview memo way before mueller was appointed. so the fbi knew early on this was hogwash. your reaction? >> and think about the corruption, the level of corruption here, liz. you hit the nail on the head. the fbi knew that steele's dossier was hogwash. they went into the fisa court, which is really a tough thing, because the fisa court is

supposed to be very, very tough to get a warrant. not only that, liz, the important thing here too, carter page is an official of the trump administration. it is a political candidate. this is a political thing going on here. this is our democracy and the fbi is being used to go in and to wiretap someone from an opposing campaign for the purposes of trying to catch something going on and for a political advantage. you know, this is the stuff that went on in the old soviet union, liz. this is stuff that goes on in communist countries. this is not supposed to go on in america. i got to tell you, this level of corruption, let me tell you, really reminds me of the corruption going on in california here, mr. newsom, our governor is listeninging to the union bosses and lobbyists to shut down the state to keep our kids from learning. this kind of corruption, go lindsey, we need to make sure this kind of corruption is

rooted out, dealt with, held accountable. i'm all for it. elizabeth: okay. here's the thing, christopher steele told a british court he was hired by, he was paid by the hillary clinton campaign and democrats to collect information against trump in order to contest the 2016 election if hillary lost and trump won. the steele dossier made its way into the fbi. the fbi used it in order to get fbi wiretaps, in order to get surveillance on the trump administration in 2017. when the fbi early in 2017, james comey said, they weren't investigating trump by the time he left. so you know, senator graham says people are in big trouble over this. what do you think? >> they should be in big trouble. couple this with all the things going on here. entrapment of michael flynn. the fbi was asking the question, why are we entrapping this guy?
