police states like indiana and south carolina pennsylvania and new york a denver rally was attacked by anti- cop protesters over the weekend now we have retired pd owed him so shed federal authorities go in? >> absolutely. first of all thank you to those in blue all across the country to go out there every day and put their lives on the line. absolutely yes talk about the united states constitution to guarantee these certain things that guarantee the right to peacefully protest that is what is missing from the equation. people are rioting.

that's not what it says the constitution even says there is a time and place and manner for these types of activities. you need a law and order this is in the spirit of george floyd to go out there and to do things of that nature it's not an that spirit whatsoever. the data will bear the out these are wreaking havoc on people's lives and businesses and how do you as a police officer go to someone's family to sayou their loved one was killed because of these types of action taking place? also please officers are not to be a punching bag they are being beat up and stabbed look at the protest in new york city with the black clergy and the police officers were attacked while out there protecting the black clergy as they were marching for police and police reform. this has escalated and they've taken it to another level it has nothing to do with it it's not in the spirit of george floyd because you would be acting differently to do different types of things. elizabeth: police say

shootings in portland are up andpl nearly quadruple the first week of jul july. here's the other thing going on. we see ordinary citizens saying weight. communities of color minority communities that have first responders like nurses and cops living in those communities see their communities are hit hard and alluding is still going on. i want to show this footage from the daily column reporter going to the federal courthouse in portland oregon with an american flag you can hear him. we heard what he is saying it's difficult that basically i'm here to stop you from attacking the federal courthouse i stand for justice. stand with me and for justice i'm not here to tear down buildings none of you even represent b black lives.

things over and over that's why we have all of this havoc that is devastating the economyy let somebody out then put them in the program and help them out don't just put them out after they commit a crime because now it's other people's families and people are dying bodies don't live you see all these murders taking place across the country it does not lie. don't do the crime if you can't do the time if you're locked up by the state is totally different than the local police you could be out before the officer gets off the shift. pay attention if you're for true reform we should be out there peacefully protesting we are not punching bags this is not what we took the job for we took it to protect life and property we get the call shots fired we go toward it we want
