one reagan and two obama-appointed judges ruled pretrial publicity unfairly affected the bomber's trial. the justice department has the option of asking the entire first circuit court of appeals now for a new hearing or could can ask the supreme court to review the case. well, an unprecedented rehearing set for august 11th for general michael flynn. the d.c. court of appeals sided with the corrupt judge, emmet sullivan, to re-examine the justice department's decision to drop the case against the general. this politically corrupt judiciary refuses to right the wrongs of what was a corrupt fbi against, working against flynn and president trump from four years ago. and it goes on and on. joining us now to take this up is tom fitton, the president of judicial watch, a man whose organization involved every day in trying to right wrongs.

lou: and do you think anything -- i -- what do you think is necessary to stop china from sending 260 chinese flag vessels to the galapagos islands and brazenly violating those fishing waters around that precious marine reserve that is the galapagos islands? >> well, from a broader perspective, we've got to cut trade with china, we've got to cut investment so that china doesn't have the money to create these large fleets that extends not just towards the coast of ecuador, but also around the world. and we've got the remember, lou, that over the past decade some of these chinese fleets have killed people from other countries. so this is a, for many countries, this is a big issue, obvious. and the short term what we need to do is probably work with ecuador and other countries to develop their navies and to give

them the support of the u.s. navy when necessary. lou: well, it looks like it may be necessary because they're just brazenly sending those ships there. they were sent there. they didn't just drift across the southern pacific to the galapagos. it's outrageous. their outrages are many, as you point out, around the world. whether it is the theft of assets, natural resources through the belt and road program, whatever it may be, the aggression of the chinese is egregious. do you think anything short of war stop them? will stop them? >> well, i think that what we have on the part of the administration right now, the trump administration, is actually deterring china. there's a number of actions which we haven't seep for more than half a century. you'd have to go back at least to the eisenhower administration to see an american president who is standing up for the american

silent majority, that it's a much more than a majority. i think it is substantial, indeed. expect reason is -- and the reason a hostile press, a hostile p.c. culture that has grown up around the hateful, hateful rhetoric of the left. it's intimidating to many, i know. it's also great that we've got people with your courage to address the issues and take on everything in your path, to stand up for righteousness. i want to share this little note from the people who believe there should be a right from religion. if we could put this up, the statement from the freedom for religion foundation. those are sweet words, they just shouldn't be this in this -- be in that title, i believe. it has stated in its bylaws, the purpose are to promote the

constitutional principle of separation of state and church, and they've gone after you asking the irs to revoke your 501(c)(3) status for, well, saying nice things about the president of the united states. [laughter] what do you make of this? >> that's right. i mean, lou, it's absolutely ridiculous. they are asking the irs to revoke our tax-exempt status because when the vice president spoke at our church last month, i said some very nice things about our president, and i said, quote: there are millions of christians who are hoping, mr. vice president, that when you have finished your term in 2024 that you move down the hall and continue to build on the legacy of the greatest and most faith-friendly president in history, donald j. trump. and, lou, if that lands me in prison, if that revocs our tax-exempt status, so be it. but, obviously, it's not going to. the freedom from religion

foundation tries to intimidate smaller churches by -- [inaudible] from speaking out on politics. this is a time for every pastor to speak out. the future of our nation is at stake. lou: you know, i think i'll start a foundation and put it together, we'll call it a freedom from atheistic organizations who want to trample those who don't have the resources to stand up to them -- >> that's -- [inaudible conversations] lou: i'll work on the title a bit with, but you get the idea. i'm sorry? >> yeah. it's called the democrat party, the atheist group who hates religion.
