right now, the nancy pelosi impeachment thing is really hard to understand, basically she was asked, we take impeachment off the table as a way of delaying a senate decision of a trump supreme court nominee, she said no it is on the table, it makes no sense, we learned during the impeachment battle but the house controls impeaching the president and the senate controls the trial, the house does not have any clout in what the senate does. i think that really does not make a lot of sense, the idea of packing the court has actually been around in democratic circles for quite a while in the last primary race, a lot of the democrats did not show much enthusiasm but pete buttigieg who did well in the race explored interest in expanding the size of the supreme court to give it a democratic majority. also, your hearing if there is a

it's great to see again, the white house administration is sanctioning more than two dozen people with entities involved in iran's nuclear and arms program, your reaction, their thought to be working with north korea and a long-range missile. >> this is the big headline on the reposition of sanctions particularly the arm sanctions, the so-called stamp act think the u.s. is doing, i don't think it's on the pretension, we're going to go back to the sanctions regime that the un had in place before we did the ironic deal, the way the united states is written is very clever and much more flexible and broad-based, the u.s. can be much more aggressive, they cannot say you did an arms deal and we will sanction you, they can go out and sanction people who are talking about an arms deal, and anybody supporting them, they can sanction them, this will allow the u.s. to be much aggressive in heavy-handed and go more quickly after people trying to findd workarounds, ths

is going to putut iranians and n terms of an arms embargo in ala worse place than they were before they signed arms deal. liz: that is really interesting, the un embargo against the arms deal with iran expires next month. this is an elastic flexible one, it is smart, that what you're saying. es not only is a broader and more aggressive than the original u.s. sanctions in the way the u.s. plans to implement it. everybody's going to follow them, the russians and the chinese can't complain, the iranians can dismiss them, people can whine and say it's a legitimate. there's no legitimate company that will risk doing business with the irradiance because although the pain that they will have in a run does not have enough money to make it work. what is going to happen people are going to look for shadow we run around in the u.s. will track them down. these arm sanctions are going to be really effective and they will be just as effective as more than the ones in place when the iranians were forced to the table the first time.
