then gives an answer so unless somebody is going to rip a microphone out of somebody's hand, i do not think you will have that problem but just in case i suppose maybe they will cut the mike someone of the candidates to make sure those interruptions do not happen, overall the 65 million people watch last night i would say that the high number, relatively it is not, in 2016 hillary clinton, donald trump, first debate, 85 million tuned in, 20 million less than 2016 during a pandemic, i don't know what that tells us but not as many people are interested for some reason. liz: interesting that's an interesting data point, the question is biden is being pressured to cancel future debates but when you are talking out of 65 million beat people that's a lot of voters. here's what else is going on, chris christie, michael goodwin of the new york post said this is way over the top train wreck, we became personal over policy, that is not good for the country and michael goodwin said the

bulk of the blame falls on the president, the wall street editorial page said trump was interrupting biden so much he would not let them talk and long enough to make a mistake. would you agree with that? >> i think yes joe biden was "saved by the bell" on a couple of occasions in particular early on in the debate where trump really had him on the ropes only interrupting several times and will you eliminate the filibuster but more portly in terms of the supreme court, we stack the court and said there were so many interruptions they ran out of time and we gotta go into a couple different topics so yeah i think donald trump let joe biden be joe biden and suddenly joe biden weather walked into some traps in those situations and the president missed a couple of opportunities, did not talk about isis or the isis leader or that iran terror leader, here's encouraging billing outriders in minneapolis, regulatory reform, border control, israeli peace deal he signed a week ago, all of those things were in broached and those are all in donald trump's sweet spot and that was

enthusiasm behind the candidate in donald trump does not advantage right now. just talking to trump supporters and biden supporters, trump did not lose anybody because maybe they did not like the interrupting, i thought there were too many interruptions but they will stick with him, joe biden may have left the left wing of the party to the side and we already did not trust them, the aoc wing, remember he did not sign a pact with bernie sanders which he did and he did now's the green new deal which he originally supported, in alien in the bernie bros and that could be a problem because he needs those votes ever talking about one versus the other in a fight and only has half a base, donald trump wins. liz: that was a striking moment when he rejected bernie sanders saying i beat him by a lot claiming he's not for the green new deal when it's on his own campaign website as a structural framework for what his thinking is, the president is getting criticized by republicans like

falsely accused myself but a lot of things definitely do not add up, in terms of his point about who is responsible for what, et cetera, really, when i was an officer in thehe u.s. navy, if e captain of my ship or the executive officer, if that ship runs the ground or has another disaster, the senior management are responsible and i think chairman graham and other members of the committee were absolutely right that somebody needs to be heldme accountable d be responsible for this terrible abuse of power as he correctly labeled it. liz: the fbi counterintelligence which includes peter strzok investigated the russian spy who gave disinformation to christopher steele that hillary clinton's campaign and democrats of the dnc helped finance so they knew he was a russian spy, what is your reaction to that given the fact that the fbi use

that and got the information and used in part with the pfizer wiretap to spy on you thinking that you were a russian asset? >> another perfect example of how nothing in the whole scam makes sense one bit, the concept that he could not have known anything particularly when i sent him a letter on september 25, 2016 explaining everything and offering to meet with him or members of the fbi who i had helped for over a decade and as well as the cia and other groups, so many open questions, somebody that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. liz: they knew a lot about you and going after you, but they didn't investigate the clinton campaign using russians information from the get-go to try to cook up this russia

collusion theory, that's allegation that is coming up from dni ratcliffe investigation. you see how circular and weird this is,ue final question, i knw you're not an expert in this, this involves you, basically james comey testifying throughout the day that they did not remember, we just showed it, do you think fbi officials are worried they will be accused of committing perjury before the fisa court perform misleading the fisa court and not disclosing information about the steele dossier and more, what is your take on that. >> i think they have a huge amount to be worried about in the fact that the senators are now really turning up the heat, i'm glad you have congressman collins on, he is one of the few that it pushed for the truth and pushed for justice, i'm glad that the senatehe, judiciary unr chairman graham's leadership are taking serious steps in that direction as well.

yourself. >> i don't know they line up behind me because i've been asking for the last four or five months because i'm tired of christopher wray running the department and not doing the changes that he said he would make and every time we peel back he is protecting the upper management in the fbi, it is time for him to go in time for a change and that's what we repeated today it is time for him to resign. liz: were gonna stay on the story, we gotta move on with the supreme court nominee amy coney barrett, the senate democrats refused to meet with her, senator chuck schumer said to do so and it would legitimize the process, they gonna try to stonewall her nomination so she does not get to rule on an obamacare case that is coming up in a couple of months that could invalidate those unconstitutional because the individual mandate forcing people to be hit with the tax if they don't buy health insurance. can that happen if she is seated

clinton and her team were stirring up a scandal claiming donald trump was linked to russia hacking democrat e-mails and the mueller probe did not find that,t, john brennan briefd barack obama about the national security officials. let's back up, take out the name obama, hillary clinton and trump, this is about a political opposition research based on russian disinformation getting into the fbi to help get powerful pfizer wiretaps that are more powerful than a criminal wiretap, you would hit every phone, bank record, everything that you watch on tv and it is a two h or three hop, who you talk to who the person talks to, here is the back story, the russian knew about the pfizer wiretaps, exposed so many people on the trump team in the process of doing this, that

means more information about people is blood out into the system, is not what is going on to. >> it is but that means none of the habits of the fbi, the leadership of james comey, if you did not create a culture of double standards where they embrace false information and is false information and even one of them created false information in the e-mail, that is a culture of self-righteousness that comey presided over and created and it would take all of the known disinformation and use it, and i have a guard testifying under oath that it does not ring any bellsr, that is the most impossibly cavalier answer to question about a sitting or incoming president investigati investigation, there is no way that the director of the fbi wasn't deeply amassed in this investigation, there's plenty of cases that would not bubble to the top and this one would, when you sit there and try to pretend that it never came up, does not ring a bell, that is pretty blatantly false. liz: here is the other thing, we

have covered the story for three years, we keep hearing from our sources in the fbi in intelligence community, it is this that intelligence officials knew early on that hillary clinton was trying to dig up on donald trump in order to fight the election result that she lost, that's why she helped finance and she and her team at the dnc help pay for her team at the steele dossier which is from the russians by and took credit documents that they show, basically she is digging up dirt in the intelligence community officials knew about it and they did nothing about it to stop ito in order to get the on donald trump into baucom, that is the back story here, will the intelligence community investigate the clinton team in the use of russian disinformation and also fbi officials who didoo it to? >> very hard to know, ultimately there has to be political willpower that affects the

four years he wants american public to be safe, we have to circle back and ask ourselves why do we have to have this into the sanctuary cities, the simple answer is because these criminals who do not have a right to the united states it didn'came to the united states d committed further crime, they were in the custody of the police agencies and they were let go back onto the street, these are dangerous individuals because they century policies does not let local law enforcement adhere to the ice regulations that are been puty n place, they let the individuals back onto our streets to commit further crimes. liz: in denver ice just captured a fugitive criminal illegal alien on the most wanted list, 36 showed suspect, previously removed from the u.s. in 2005, he came back and into thousand ten, when cops pulled him over utile driving earlier this year in lake county colorado, he was driving without a license, he

refused orders to exit his car and then he reached for a screwdriver and tried to establish officer and tried to choke another officer, he had to be hit with pepper spray and then he got tased and was arrested, judge let them out on bail in june and that's when he became a fugitive. >> just because the judge let him out on bail, does not mean that denver could've held him and turned him over to ice for ice to remove him from the b united states, when the judge that amount on bail, it was the police responsibility to turn him over to ice when they feel toto do that which is why they d to go after him but the fact of the matter remains, because ice was able to get one of the individuals on the top ten wanted list is testament to exactly what president trump i s doing as far asor law enforcemet and the safety and security of the american public, we have to get rid of these individuals and go after them and make our country safe. liz: we have been covering how ice has announced it arrested
