down from 10% just a week ago. what do you think of all this? >> liz, great to be with you, what we're seeing out here is exactly tracking polls saying. everybody is coming along. there is a silent majority. there is folks out there, the president knows he cares for them. the president has their back. they understand it. i've been traveling all over georgia, outside of georgia, you talk about the spontaneous trump rallies. they talk about getting a boat rally together this is on tuesday or wednesday. by saturday you have five and 600 boats on lake lanier and more. people want a trump train. they drive around south georgia. they take a week to get it together. you literally have hundreds of people coming along. these folks have not been polled. i have folks i see every day, i never been polled. the real poll november 3rd and donald trump will win this thing. elizabeth: here is the thing. biden's lead is tighter. it is getting tighter in the key battleground states of florida. we're looking at it. looking at numbers.

for the north carolina, iowa, georgia, arizona. shy trump voter doesn't want to talk to pollsters, reluctant to talk to any pollsters that could, you know that could mean the president trump does win battlegrounds. they come in at five percentage points or four or five, trump wins the battleground. that is what we're seeing. do you see that? >> i agree with you but let's think about it. many voters who don't go to polls, don't want to talk, they don't inherently trust the media. they watched big media, watch polls, consultants attack this president for 3 1/2 to four years. they're tired of it. they want to see the president reelected. they don't want folks attacking him. they want a president who fights, not hides in the basement. people are sick and tired of joe biden hiding in a basement. this president is doing 3:00 rallies three rallies a day and we're better off than four

years ago that is the case they are going to make. elizabeth: one thing to consider do you know any trump voter in 2016 not voting for the president. you see rallies as you point outbreaking out for trump by word-of-mouth and social media. unconnected, nothing to do with the trump campaign. that is interesting. spontaneous rallies. what about coronavirus and jobs, who has the best strategy for both? we know the cases increasing 225,000. recovery rate is very high. scientists say vaccine won't be ready nationwide until next summer? >> president does. they want to get out. they understand the virus is with us. they understand therapeutics are being developed. people are getting better at high rate. vaccine is around the corner. they're concerned, joe biden trying to talk about not just mandating wearing a mask or

staying inside and shutting businesses down, on top of raising tax. those are things people will not respond to. the president wants the country back open safely, do it efficiently. make sure our economy is still where it is and can grow and people can have jobs. people work, do the normal functions they will respond to a positive vision. the president has a positive vision. joe biden has a negative vision. it is sunrise in america, not sunset in america. elizabeth: we're seeing with jobs, we're seeing voters not liking joe biden wanting to get rid of federal subsidies for the oil industry. we know he wants to ban fracking on federal lands. we're seeing voters in pennsylvania, texas, auto workers in michigan reacting negatively to that. they see trade deals done by republicans and democrats for years hollowed out american factories in the heartland. trump understood the need to bring back american industry. manufacturers added 467,000 jobs under trump. that is six times the number of manufacturing jobs in obama's

last two years. we see the tariffs are setting job growth. federal reserve says that, you know that is an issue for the workers out there in the heartland, right? >> they are. workers want a job. people want to work in america. they don't want a president, like vice president biden who number one can't tell the truth. let's be honest. it is a simple thing. caught on camera saying you would shut down fracking and fossil fuel industry. he said that let's be honest about it. tomorrow is coming to george disbarks third district. georgia. my district is the ninth. textile industries have been devastated by nafta and bad trade deals by democrat. he will come to georgia, see what dodd-frank did to the banking system in georgia. he comes to georgia. the results how that happened, how that is changed by president trump. they understand he wants to go backwards. president trump wants to continue to put money in their pocket because the economy is good. that is always the first and foremost thing about people.

and drug tapes posted on a chinese website linked to ex-top advisor steve bannon. this is getting uglier and nastier. that stuff is still unconfirmed. let's set that aside. given the news. that is what is going on. joe biden saying the hunter biden email story, biden family business story is a smear, it is russian disinformation, what are your thoughts about that? >> my thoughts are joe biden already changed his story. their rapid response says he had no involvement compared to a week ago, compared to he never talked to his son about any business dealings. that might not seem like a big deal but prior to the debate the joe biden put a lid on debate to prepare. he has put a lid on his campaign until now and election day. regardless how much the media tried to censor this information, more and more is coming out. it is not good. i heard your last segment, interviews with undecided voters.

elizabeth: by definition disinformation means false information. senate republicans already did an extensive probe, a look-see, a report on hunt hunt's business dealings overseas in countries like china, ukraine and russia. hundreds of trips hunter biden made with secret service protection where he was doing deal-making overseas. the biden campaign is not denying hunter biden's laptop or former business associate tony bobulinski, who was a navy veteran, he is a whistle-blower. he is an eyewitness to biden's family business deal and the fbi and doj concurred with dni ratcliff the laptop allegedly owned by hunter biden is not disinformation. that is the backstory not getting out there to voters. >> probably the angry evident person in the united states right now is probably hillary clinton, saying i wish the email dump in 2016 would have been covered the same way the hunter

bobulinski emails, his grandfather, father, brother are veterans. when you see the emails come out, who do you believe? >> it gives veracity to bobulinski's story, one of interesting things, why did you come out so late, why is this occurring this way, the reason is because of senator johnson's report and bobulinski knew he got squeezed out of the deal. the question i have, there is a loan. sounds to me like a no-interest loan. that is something of value. would be -- joe biden wasn't vice president at this time, he wasn't in office, so i mean there is not necessarily anything illegal but why all the shell companies? why all the secrecy? and more importantly, why is nobody looking into this? seems like a lot of this stuff would be very, very easy to verify. elizabeth: okay. looks like we lost the feed there. we're having -- oh, he is back. congressman, can you hear me? >> i can hear you. elizabeth: we're having

technical difficulties. okay, good. we'll dig into this in the next hit but the biden shell companies and llcs we're tracking this, is out of senate finance and senate homeland security report in september. we're counting 16 of them. we're seeing shells that were used to handle 3 1/2 million dollar wire from the wife of the former mayor of moscow into an account controlled by hunter biden. we're seeing a shell company got 143,000 or so for a car for hunter biden's business partner. that was wired in from a business official in kazakhstan. we're also seeing $100,000 shopping spree went to another shell company that was controlled by hunter biden. so have you ever seen any family connected to 16 llcs and shell companies, one family? >> not anybody, not anybody that is proud about the business they're doing. i mean that is the reality, right. there is nothing illegal about setting up an llc.

♪. elizabeth: welcome back. we're coming into the bottom of the hour. you're watching the fox business network. joining me now former federal prosecutor jim trusty. jim, always great to have you on. we're staying on the story. biden's business dealings, biden family business dealings according to the september report, they used a lot of llcs, shell companies, 16 of them at last count. they make it difficult to show who paid what to him. the shells are blamed for covering up money flows and more. this is all, this is what we know so far from the senate gop report. we're not saying anything nefarious or anything illegal here. it is very difficult to track the money flow. >> yeah. i mean, look shell companies are legal. limited corporations are legal. they can be very smart ways of protecting against broader liability. they can be a way of organizing different corporate responsibilities and personnel. so we've seen them before but

the problem is, if someone starts to looking into the activities on the assumption that there could be criminal activity, they look quite devious. they look like a purposeful attempt to hide crimes. so that is the issue. white-collar cases, there is always a question of criminal intent and certainly one clearly, when you start forming corporations that are purely for very limited purposes like accepting money from abroad. elizabeth: all right. let's show this. the, we've got a new text message surfacing from tony bobulinski. he is hunter biden's former business partner. it shows hunter biden talking about using a shell company to set up the transaction with the business deal with the chinese energy conglomerate backed by china. this was surfaced, found this via "the daily caller" news foundation t helps hunter avoid having to register as a foreign agent with the government the use of a shell. doing so they would be able to

bid on government contracts. that is the end-run to use the shell corporation in this regard to set up the onieda holdings, that was the cdsd energy deal with the chinese company and the biden team. what is your reaction to that? >> this is a situation where a little knowledge is dangerous. so in these white-collar potential cases and you're trying to prove criminal intent, in fact for the fara act, you have looking for willfulness, they have to know what the law is, intentionally break the law. you don't get people send an email, a encrypted text, that says thankfully we're willfully evading the law. you have a second place finish this email. the fact they're discussing fara, how to avoid registration that is the functional equivalent of willfulness. that is a huge piece of evidence for anybody looking at this case for the eye of building a fara

case. elizabeth: we're looking at shell companies and llcs, that the bidens relied on in their business dealings. they handle the wiring of the former mayor of moscow to accounts controlled by hunter biden. 142,000 for a car for hunter biden's business partner. another hudson west shell handled one hundred thousand dollars spending spree for james biden, his uncle and his wife sara. so you know, we're seeing the biden family using a awful lot of shell units and you know, llcs. certainly we see it with vice president biden and his wife with their two llcs. holding their income from book deals and speeches. listen, when joe biden left office he was in debt by 780,000, 1.6 million. there is the range there. that is how much debt he had. in two year's time he and his wife had double the income than the prior 19 years combined.

basis, the steele dossier, was a hoax. it actually was a hoax. what are the contents of the laptop? they are actually the contents of the laptop. the fbi has verified them. so they shut down the story that was actually based in fact while the pump up the story that was not based in fact, debunked even by james comey's fbi leadership when it first came out. so the american people see this for what it is and all, look, we're big boys and girls in america. we can take the truth. we can consume the truth. let us be the judge. but don't abuse these positions in these big tech companies. elizabeth: and you know what, david, what else is going on? you see things like cnn quoting facebook spokesperson andy stone about the story but failing to note he has a long career as a mouthpiece for democrat politicians and groups like the democrat congressional caucus.

john roberts. your thought on this american moment? >> you know, it is so hard to put into words. it is an incredibly exciting moment for me to see my former boss join the supreme court but i think more importantly it's a really exciting moment for the american people. she is really, she will be a fantastic justice. elizabeth: you know, debate did rage overnight on the floor of the senate. democrats spoke throughout the night from the senate floor. senator chuck schumer said, we'll fight this sham process by senate republicans. they're saying this is a do-or-die moment. this is life or death with the nomination and the seating of justice barrett. your thoughts and your reaction to that? >> you know, i think back to the hearings that were held two weeks ago. i think we heard so much from judge barrett over the course of those two days. got her answer tough questions from both sides of the aisle.

we've seen what a well-qualified candidate she is. we've seen how intelligent she is. that she is a person of incredible integrity and principle and i think the senate is going to confirm her tonight. we're going to see her on the supreme court. elizabeth: you know, republican senator lisa murkowski says she will vote to confirm amy coney barrett. so will senator mitt romney. senator susan collins is a no. senator richard blumenthal threatening retaliation against the republicans. joe biden wants to restructure the supreme court. he wants a commission whether to do a court packing. ted kaufman, a leader of biden's transition team, signed on a new letter for term limits to supreme court, to democratize the supreme court. democrats don't realize everything they want can be flipped around and used against them in the future if they try

to do these things. what are your thoughts about that, amanda? >> we're coming up to an election. we're seeing a lot of discussion about the supreme court -- supreme court. i have to tell you i'm pretty focused on tonight's vote and excited to see the result of this, this confirmation. the president has made an excellent choice in nominating amy coney barrett for the supreme court. i'm focused on so night's result. elizabeth: okay. amanda rauh-bieri, thank you very much for joining us. we appreciate it. >> thanks, liz. good to be on. elizabeth: sure, coming up folks policy contributor kiron skinner on this foreign policy debate heating up washington. we're hearing it from d.c. sources. the debate is this, whose foreign policy better for america, the president or joe biden's? the story is next. >> so on friday we announced a historic peace agreement between israel and sudan.

♪. elizabeth: let's welcome back to the show former top state department official and fox news foreign policy contributor kiron skinner. always great to see you to have you on again. >> thank you. elizabeth: whose foreign policy is better for america? whose foreign policy is better for the u.s., joe biden and president trump? that is the debate in d.c. now. what do you think? >> i actually think donald trump's is. you could say she worked in the trump administration, was on the trump campaign in 2016. was on the transition team but i'm looking at this objectively in terms of out comes. in the past few months despite covid-19 and all the issues around race in america we've been dealing with, we also set the bar very high in this administration with peace deals in the middle east. that no one thought, in the post-world war ii world could ever happen. and there are more enroute. this all came out of the white house in the shop of

senior advisor jared kushner and his small team, an intellectual architecture that defyies the middle east experts you have to have a land for peace deal, you have to resolve the palestinian issue first. he turned logic on its head. let as work individually with countries to get an agreement. it will in fact make it easier for us to ultimately get a big deal with the palestinians. that is happening at a level and a pace no one thought possible. but that is just part of the story. on the issue of china, since the opening to china in the nixon-kissinger era the position had been that we will help china along to become a developed nation but it was very difficult for elites in the 21st century to face the fact that china was a global menace. donald trump, somehow has led to

a national consensus around the realities of china, both geopolitical and domestic. that's an achievement right there and then the matter of burden-sharing is so fundamental to the future of the united states as predominant power on earth. it is donald trump that has insisted that the nato countries, the nearly 30 countries that they pay more of their fair share to mutual defense. when he campaigned in 2016 four or five countries were meeting that challenge. it is doubled since then. hundreds of millions of dollars more into nato, into the nato covers. so when you look at just these issues that i've mentioned, it makes one a bit nervous about a biden administration because there was a commitment on that side to unravel everything that this president has achieved. elizabeth: you know biden on

"60 minutes" named russia as washington's most serious global threat. he called china the biggest competitor. we're looking at statements from joe biden about china going back to 1997. china admitting them to the wto would not be an issue. we're looking at a quote from biden, 2011 we have to go beyond just having china working with us on trade deals but allow china into our boardrooms, into our universities, into our athletic fields. so you see joe biden saying that china is just a competitor, not going to eat our lunch. when you hear that, what is your reaction? >> well that is the real joe biden. he is saying something different now, joining the the consensus president trump helped form, as china as a real threat with the potential to do enormous damage to u.s. interests in every part of the globe. so he is changing his tune in

real time. but he is a problem for us on china because he was, during his nearly 50 years in washington, one of those who supported bringing china into the world trade organization. he is one of those who did not hold china's feet to the fire on human rights issues and tie human rights abuses to u.s.-china trade. and he wants a corporate tax level for the united states that surpasses that of china. when you look at the range of domestic and foreign policy views of joe biden it is a danger for the united states on china. we'll go backwards, not forward. elizabeth: so what would immediate danger be to americans? >> i think it is, the immediate danger would be that the signal would be received by the chinese. that there is a new, quote, unquote sheriff in town. what they're doing, all over the world on the african continent,

and broader middle east, and the south china sea, that the united states won't respond with the kind of strength that donald trump has been building because he just sees the world, biden and his camp in a very different way. let's cooperate first. even if it entails preemptive concession making, which we know is the biggest danger of all in international relations. elizabeth: why is that the biggest danger, final word? >> we saw that in the cold war with the soviet union. once you begin to make concessions before the other side has delivered what you expect from them, the deliverance never happens. it just doesn't happen. elizabeth: all right. kiron skinner, thank you so much for your insights. come back soon. good to see you. >> thank you. elizabeth: sure. i'm elizabeth macdonald. you've been watching "the evening edit" on fox business. that does it for us. thank you so much for watching.
