themselves up by their bootstraps. there's a lot of positive narratives coming out of this election, including liz claman, the fact that one day we will be able to call the president, we will be able to announce that as well. liz: one day. we stress one day. charles, what a week. thank you for leading into my show every single day with what our investor audience needs to have and then boom, we hit it with the final hour of trade. joe biden on the precipice as we head into this final 59 minutes. six states yet to be called with the former vice president now leading in four of them. the electoral map still unchanged, with biden leading president trump 264-214 in the race to 270. a victory in any one of those states makes joe biden the 46th president of the united states but lawsuits abound here. the biden campaign has confirmed he will make a speech during
3:01 pm
prime time tonight. there is speculation he may claim the title of commander in chief. we shall see. but reports out of the trump campaign are that the president will not concede until recounts are completed in states ranging from pennsylvania, where votes are still being counted at this moment, to a couple of others that we have just showed on our screen. our fox business reporters are standing by live in the crucial areas with the latest developments. pennsylvania, arizona and georgia. meanwhile, as team trump yells election fraud, there is no talk of one thing. foreign hacking. we have got the ceo of the company that state and local governments turned to for keeping their ballot systems safe. matthew principles is he mathew prince is here on that. we wrap up the strongest

week in seven months. the october jobs report, we will show you that, big gains but also signs the pandemic recovery may be slightly slowing. after a big runup this week, the dow jones industrials down 116, less than .5%. s&p down 9. the nasdaq down 24. we have team fox business coverage. grady trimble in philadelphia, the epicenter of pennsylvania's realtime ballot counting and fox news' kevin cork live in phoenix, arizona, where joe biden still holds the lead with about 142,000 ballots still left to process. but let us begin in the nation's biggest cliffhanger of pennsylvania, where overnight, the keystone state began breaking for joe biden. where do we stand right now? to grady trimble, who is on the ground in philly. grady? reporter: liz, joe biden's lead has been growing throughout the day as mail-in votes are still being counted here in the city of philadelphia, at the pennsylvania convention center, and in other cities throughout
3:03 pm
the state. as of right now, joe biden holds a lead of about 13,500 votes but as i mentioned, that number has been getting bigger each and every hour as more and more mail-in ballots are being counted. today for the third day in a row, more protests between the anti-trump count every vote protesters and the pro-trump demonstrators who want, as they say, every legal vote to be counted. they agree with the president's claims that this election is somehow rigged and that there's cheating going on by democrats. philadelphia's mayor, though, he's a democrat, he calls those claims baseless and well, he had some harsh words for the president. >> he's going to acknowledge the fact that he lost and he needs to congratulate the winner just as jimmy carter did, as george h.w. bush and frankly, as al gore did and stop this and let us move forward as a country. reporter: here in philadelphia, there is still about 40,000
3:04 pm
votes left to be counted. statewide there are about 112,000 mail-in votes to be counted. as you know, about 75% or so of those mail-in votes have been going toward joe biden so what we can expect is that his lead could grow but if the margin holds where it is right now, which is unlikely but possible, if the margin holds where it is or is less than half of a percent, that would automatically trigger a recount here in pennsylvania. we do know even if a recount doesn't happen, there will be many legal challenges ahead brought on by the trump campaign. liz? liz: indeed. yeah. very very close and that would be pretty obvious to have a recall at that point or sorry, a recount at that point. from pennsylvania to arizona. the fox decision desk called the arizona race for joe biden on election night, but three days later, the counting does continue, as do the legal challenges. to fox news' kevin cork, who is live in phoenix. where do we stand? reporter: liz, great to be with
3:05 pm
you. the battle for the grand canyon state continues as they continue to process ballots here and it's not really a surprise that we would go beyond election day. you may recall back in 2016, they needed a couple extra days to work through it. they are very organized here. i have been around the country now and i would compare arizona with ohio in so much as they are incredibly organized in making sure that every i is dotted and every t is crossed and absolutely they will process all the ballots and making sure that we can come the a proper conclusion here. let me take you inside the numbers. earlier we talked about that 225,000 ballots still needing to be processed, 165,000 maricopacounty. the real number you have to concern yourself with is how much might the president close the gap between himself and the former vice president. earlier in the week we were talking about 52-47, we were talking about 51-46. it's a lot tighter than that right now. it's right around 49-48, with
3:06 pm
the former vice president just about at the 50% mark but again, the gap continues to shrink. state officials here tell me the process is moving along just as it should. >> these are folks who have been working around the clock since tuesday to make sure that every single vote gets counted and we just really need to let them do their jobs. reporter: let them do their jobs, she said. they want to make sure that every legal vote is counted here in the great state of arizona. outside, we have seen crowds gathering throughout the day in support of the president. they say he will reel in the former vp and ultimately claim this state. here inside over my shoulder, you see the process continues to work itself out. they are making sure that this is a process that is transparent and i can tell you it's quite interesting to be here where it's all happening and everything seems to be calm. a big contrast compared to outside. liz? liz: my goodness, i know.
3:07 pm
i know. you give us really good insight on the quality of the vote counting at the moment. as we keep one eye on arizona, i guess a foot in philadelphia, then to georgia. we need to go to this. the georgia secretary of state is just now giving a live update on vote counting there at this moment. this is as we said, the secretary of state. let us listen in for a moment. >> interest in our election obviously goes far beyond our borders. the final tally in georgia at this point has huge implications for the entire country. the stakes are high and the emotions are high on all sides. we will not let those debates distract us from our work. we will get it right and we will defend the integrity of our elections. in some states, there are complaints about monitors not being allowed to watch the count. in georgia, this process is and
3:08 pm
will remain open and transparent to monitors. if any member of the public raises legitimate concerns, we will investigate those. we are committed to doing anything and everything to maintaining trust in our electoral process here for every georgian. regardless of partisan preference. thank you. >> afternoon. statewide voting system implementation manager. you keep putting your microphones where i put my computer. right now, the outstanding ballots are about the same as they were this morning, not too much change on that front. but what we do have is a little more information on some of the provisionals that are out there right now. we will start with, let's start with the margin right now. we are looking at 2,448,796 votes for president trump.
3:09 pm
and 2,450,381 votes for vice president biden. that gives us a margin of 1,585. that's where we stand right now as of 3:08 p.m. on friday. friday now. we do know that today is the day for the deadline for the military and overseas ballots that would have been postmarked by tuesday, election day, to be accepted and counted in this state. we do have some updated numbers on that. let's see. on the overall side, we have 18,008 of those ballots have been accepted. and at least 8,410 that are still available to be received. now, again, i want to reemphasize this, that does not mean there's a bucket of 8,410 votes ready to be counted. that means there are 8,410 votes that could have been postmarked on tuesday, and could be received by the elections official today. so as i said earlier, that's
3:10 pm
going to be more than zero and less than 8,410. so it will be somewhere in that range. we don't really know how many that is. i do have a county by county breakdown of available ones. i will give you some of the highlights and we will try to put this into a release to give the details following this press conference. so you usually want the big ones. bibb, 86 are still out there. chatham, where savannah is, 395. cherokee, woodstock, 171. clayton county, 241. cobb county, 569. columbia county, 247. kaweda county, 99. dekalb county, 802. a note of personal privilege for a second for the yankees, it's dekalb. pronounce these things.

dougherty, another one, 74. douglas county, 111. fayette, 149. forscythe, 153. fulton, 956. that's the single biggest number right there. gwinnett, 741. henry, 238. liz: the secretary of state for georgia defending the process of the ballot counting in the peach state. as you just heard, we did have brad raffensperger say specifically the situation has been open and transparent to monitors on both sides, and at this moment, that situation remains too close to call, but joe biden has the lead there by a difference of 1,585 votes. the georgia secretary of state also said there will likely be a recount. so we are watching that. we are watching the markets. we have the dow jones industrials down 112. this week and quite frankly this entire year in general, are the

of the way of the market and largely out of the way of business allowing business folks to do what they do best, create new things and grow and do well. look, obviously there's going to be some volatility in the market between now and when we actually know ultimately how this election points -- ends up, but you know, after that, i think there may be some calm waters ahead as we see a washington that's likely not going to do a lot of legislating. liz: election limbo aside, phil, we are looking at a jobs report that came in, we saw a creation or get-back of jobs that had been lost, at least some of them certainly in the beginning of the year. a gain of 638,000, unemployment ticked down to 6.8% versus an expectation of 7.7% so that's a beautiful number, but the psychology of the markets right now, fixated specifically on the data earnings or this election

drama. >> i think the election drama is almost behind us, right? i think the market doesn't care, as you can tell by the reaction of the last couple of days. i was singing a song i made up called gridlock and goldilocks. you put those two together, i mean, it's going to be beautiful for stocks, right? you've got the senate that's going to be able to block any dramatic tax hikes, they're not going to be able to put in a lot of regulations, except by executive order, so this is going to be the perfect scenario for the stock market. you mentioned the market timers. i always say market timers are right twice a day. no, that's stopped clocks. forget that. market timers, it's great when it works but it doesn't, but you know, listen, you look at the market's reaction, when they were worried about a blue wave last week, that's why last week was so horrible, right, because that would have been bad for stocks, more regulations, higher taxes. this week, hey, it's a divided government, things are going to

go by. now, interestingly enough, one thing when nancy pelosi spoke a little bit today, about stimulus, saying the republicans are going to talk about it, she should have taken the deal, right, because mitch mcconnell is saying after the jobs report -- liz: now he says it will be a skinny one. chris, we've got one quick second here. look at the volatility index. down another 7.33%. there is not fear in this market. what's your best trade? >> geez. i would go into coronavirus stocks. i would go in and stay there. we are in this environment for another year, maybe. i think that's a safe bet. liz: great to see you both. try and relax this weekend. but who knows how the overnight markets and the overseas markets will open on sunday night. i will be tweeting. i will maybe do twitter live. maybe you can join me, phil. it will be a lot of fun. good to see you both. thank you. we have the dow jones industrials again down und

forward-thinking enterprises, deserve forward-thinking solutions. and that's what we deliver. so bounce forward, with comcast business. liz: we have this breaking news. joe biden's lead in arizona is shrinking. the latest numbers from edison research show he is now up by just under 41,000 votes as the race to the 270 electoral votes coming down to the wire. of course, arizona, 11 points there. meanwhile, in georgia, state officials moments ago said that the state is too close to call as far as that election is concerned, and a recount is on the docket. there are still more than 8,400
3:36 pm
ballots that could be received by 5:00 p.m. this afternoon. that could swing the outcome of the 2020 presidential election as joe biden has the lead by, ready for this, just 1,585 votes. slim. all right. the peach state is worth 16 votes in the electoral college and since 1984, has only tilted blue once. that was in 1992. bill clinton of course defeated george herbert walker bush to become the 42nd president of the united states. but let's take you live right now to the state capitol building in atlanta, georgia, where jonathan serrie has been counting the minutes between each ballot count update. what's the latest you can tell us? reporter: you know what, georgia election officials, they really came up with the best analogy. you mentioned the numbers of the margin here in georgia. well, state elections officials are describing it as less than the student body of most high schools.
3:37 pm
that is how narrow it is and what a narrow margin will determine the outcome of the presidential race and potentially the senate races, two senate races here in the state of georgia. about 4,000 ballots remain to be counted statewide. most of them out of gwinnett county, a democrat-leaning county but another wild card will be the military ballots. more on that a little later. georgia's secretary of state announced there will most likely be a recount because of this thin margin. if the margin stays that small, it will be an automatic recount and not just county by county, but a statewide recount. now, he does, the secretary of state is defending his state's transparency and handling of the election despite some criticism from president trump. >> this process is and will remain open and transparent to monitors. if any member of the public raises legitimate concerns, we
3:38 pm
will investigate those. we are committed to doing anything and everything to maintaining trust in our elections process for every georgian regardless of partisan preference. reporter: president trump has been tweeting asking what's happening with the military ballots, suggesting that perhaps they are missing. state election officials say they are not missing, that many of the military ballots have been received, but there are still more than 8,000 military and overseas ballots that are eligible to be received by 5:00, but either they have not been returned or they are still in the mail. again, they have until 5:00 this afternoon to arrive and they must carry a postmark no later than election day, last tuesday's election day. so later this evening, we may get updated numbers on exactly how many of those ballots come
3:39 pm
in, overseas and military. military ballots in particular tend to favor republicans, but just how many arrive will determine what impact it has on the outcome of these georgia races. back to you. liz: okay. nobody should tune out. got to stay tuned to us and jonathan. thank you so very much. jonathan serrie. as the trump campaign sounds multiple voter fraud alarms, one thing we are not hearing about is hard evidence that foreign governments hacked the 2020 election. more than half of the state governments in america can thank cloudflare for that. a year ago the cybersecurity company began offering its services to the campaigns of both candidates and 25 states to keep this election hack-free and they did it for free. joining us in a first on fox business interview is cloudflare cofounder and ceo, matt prince. your stock is jumping to the upside here. very nice move.
3:40 pm
the fbi confirms they have seen no real credible interference in our election process this time around. you offered cloudflare service at no cost and is getting some of the credit. what exactly did you do for states and municipalities? >> you know, when we saw 2016 and how technology platforms were really being used to subvert the elections and undermine trust, we realized we needed to do something. so this election cycle, we said we were going to offer our services, the same services that companies spend millions of dollars with us for, for free to any federal campaign and any state and local official in order to protect them from attacks. our team has been working around the clock. we have had a 24-hour tiger team that's standing by to help any state election officials for the last two months, and it's been a lot of sleepless nights and a lot of us watching very carefully, but we are really proud of the fact that we helped make sure that cyberattacks did
3:41 pm
not play a significant role in this election. liz: did they try? that's what i want to know. you guys cannot only stop these attacks, you can see them knocking on the doors and trying to find points of weakness, almost like the velocirap tor in jurassic park. what did you see? >> there were background of attacks and that's not unusual online. if you put something online, hackers will try to find ways to subvert it. we saw some instances of that but it was overall significantly quieter on the cyberattack front than in 2016. we actually saw some things which were interesting. there was one point at which one of the battleground states campaign voter registration sites went offline and our team scrambled to see if it was an attack or anything else. it turned out that what it was was arianna grande, the pop singer, tweeting out to all of
3:42 pm
her fans that they should register to vote. it overwhelmed the back end. by and large, i think it was really good news. it was significantly quieter than in 2016 and i think that's a good thing for elections overall. liz: the arianna grande effect. wow. that is fascinating. i knew we would get some interesting back story from you. your company just reported earnings. wall street has been applauding your stock and of course, it has responded in kind. you guys have 54% year over year revenue spike but you are still not profitable. you lost about two cents a share. you are getting there. but when do you expect you will finally cross the rubicon? >> i think we have been showing really strong operational leverage in our business ever since we have been -- ever since we went public about a year ago. and we are on a path towards profitability and have said that we will get that in the next couple years. but what i think is really
3:43 pm
impressive has been the amount we have been able to continue to innovate, invest in r & d, launch new products and how that's turning into substantial revenue growth. so i don't think that we are in a rush to be kicking off tons of cash because i don't think there's anything we can do with cash that's better than plow it back into our business and continue to grow as fast as we can. liz: and growing, you are. matthew, we knew you when. when you were just a baby, you weren't even publicly traded. we are so proud. matthew prince, ceo and co-founder of cloudflare. good luck. see you soon. fascinating story there. watching some of the bad actors try and tap on those walls there but they didn't get in. all right. joe biden and kamala harris are set to speak tonight as the vote seems in some cases to be tipping toward team blue. charlie gasparino up next to break it on what we might be hearing just a few hours from now from the democratic ticket.

positive right now. the s&p, while it is up about eight points, has now crossed the unchanged line in this single session 109 times. you can see as the headlines move, so goes the market. all right. with a growing lead, vice president joe biden preparing for a prime time address tonight. our very own charlie gasparino has exclusive details about what that speech may contain. how do you know? what are you hearing? charlie: i'm getting this, liz, from my sources who have been pretty much on the money. these are wall street executives who are dealing directly with the biden campaign and soon to be the biden transition team. what they are saying is biden is close to declaring himself a winner, whether or not this thing is being contested which it obviously is by president trump. there's a very good likelihood that he's going to declare himself a winner tonight. now, what would prompt that? they are just waiting for a network to declare him a winner. and they are waiting -- and that waiting game is contingent
3:50 pm
obviously on some sort of final vote on arizona, georgia or pennsylvania. so this could come tonight, if a network calls it. and they expect, last i spoke with someone about an hour ago, they expect a network to call it for biden at some point, then he's going to say i am the president of the united states and donald trump can contest this all he wants, i'm the president and then he will begin his transition. this is some interesting stuff. i asked some of these folks who are dealing directly with the campaign, they are essentially part of the campaign, i said you know, give me some idea of the cabinet. and one thing that was interesting they said, he's probably not going to select anybody from the senate, particularly elizabeth warren, because there's a republican governor in massachusetts, he would -- that government would pick probably a republican for that seat and he would add to
3:51 pm
what could be, what is looking like a potential republican holding -- republicans holding on to the majority in the senate and thwarting major legislation from a president biden. remember, if the republicans lose both of the georgia runoffs it will be a 50/50 tie and kamala harris would be the tie-breaker. most people think they are not going to lose any of them so it would be 51, they would be able to stop a lot of legislation but if warren leaves, you fill that lead up. that means warren will unlikely be the treasury secretary. because i'm so sick of politics, want to give you a little news about the new york mets today. steve cohen, the hedge fund titan, has become officially the owner of the mets. he closed on his $2.4 billion deal to buy the team. interesting enough, one of his sort of impediments to buying the team everybody thought was
3:52 pm
jeff wilpon, the former owner of the mets, son of fred wilpon who really didn't like steve cohen. steve cohen didn't like him, allegedly. he wanted a-rod, alex rodriguez, to win the bidding. from what the sources tell me, the two had a very nice meeting last night at a restaurant in connecticut. a toney greenwich, connecticut place. apparently wilpon was there, someone said it was his birthday. steve said hello. wilpon bought steve a bottle of wine, they shared it. they had some nice chatting. as you know, liz, that's just further proof that money heals all wounds. back to you. liz: funny how it does that. all right. let's see if -- [ speaking simultaneously ] charlie: listen, somebody handed me $24 billion i would be a happy guy. i'd like him. right? liz: yeah. wilpon should. yeah. he got a nice deal for that investment.
