tampering. dominion has denied any claim of corruption, and this weekend trotted out a d.c. public relations firm to do its, well, its mouth piece work. michael steele, a partner with hamilton place strategies, denied any fraud connected with dominion. he sounded a little like an activist, but i'm sure he was trying to get to the truth. >> i'm a conservative republican. i've worked for conservative causes, candidates and elected officials for nearly 20 years. i think that these allegations are not allegations against dominion voting systems, they are against our elected officials at the state and local level, bipartisan poll watchers, the very system that inspires the confidence that we have and the love of our country is under attack through these allegations. and it is all our obligation to defend the truth, to defend democracy. and that's what we're trying to do here.

lou: love of country. i have to just wait a minute and sort of collect myself as we consider that any of us who are, well, occasionally awe -- applying critical judgment to our electoral system could be disavowing love of country. steele, by the way, never did answer just exactly who owns dominion. isn't that odd? the question wasn't asked either, claiming it was funded by american capitalists, not foreign investment. a good old american company. i'm assuming north american, because they're headquartered in toronto. steele also identified as a conservative republican as you heard there. but it is the very definition of rino. steele has worked as aned visor for the -- an adviser for the well known conservative jeb bush. oh, conservative as they come. he helped him in his presidential run, but it turned out he didn't have the energy to quite finish it off, and he

michael steele to join us here on our broadcast for a friendly conversation, a discussion of the facts surrounding dominion because we know that those facts right now just simply aren't in the public arena. they declined our offer to make this happen for the first time. it would have been nice right here on "lou dobbs tonight," but not tonight apparently. nobody has been more outspoken about the issues raised by dominion voting systems than attorney sidney powell. powell says she has evidence of dominion's connections to foreign countries, claims that dominion's algorithms weighted joe biden's votes more than president trump's. we do not know the truth of the matter, but that is her claim. and yesterday the president's legal team stated that powell is not a member of the trump legal team despite appearing with them at a press briefing last week, despite the president recognizing her as is such. -- as such. powell agreed and released a

statement clarifying what she has been trying to do all along. powell said this, quote: i agree with the campaign's statement that i am not part of the campaign's legal team. i never signed a retainer agreement or sent the president or the campaign a bill for my expenses or fees. my intent has always been to expose all the fraud i could find and let the chips fall where they may whether it be upon republicans or democrats. the evidence i'm compiling is overwhelming that this software tool was used to shift millions of votes from president trump and other republican candidates to biden and other democrat candidates. we are proceeded to prepare our lawsuit and plan to file it this week. it will be epic. now to the latest on the battle for the white house. georgia will begin a third recount tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. even though it certified the results last friday. now, this recount will count every ballot through a scanner instead of a hand recount9.

that's right, the machine will be which canning the machine. checking the machine. if the results do change, the final tally, of course, could be recertified or decertified. there are three active lawsuits now in three other states by the trump campaign. in nevada their hearing is set for december 1st on a state lawsuit of electoral fraud. trump campaign attorneys are i trying to move that date out. in michigan a lawsuit on blocking election observers, and it's being appealed to the state appellate court. and in pennsylvania rudy giuliani is appealing his lawsuit trying to block the state's certification to a federal abillion late court. that after an obama-appointed judge rejected the lawsuit this weekend. fox news correspondent bryan llenas joins us now and has more on the legal battle for the white house with new developments in pennsylvania. bryan. >> reporter: lou, good evening. the trump campaign and

republicans at this hour are attempting to block the certify caution of the election results in pennsylvania, but time is running out. today is the deadline for pennsylvania's 67 counties to certify their election results with the commonwealth department of state. now this morning allegheny county's board of elections, home to pittsburgh, voted 2-1 to certify their election result ares. the trump campaign's legal efforts in pennsylvania were delivered a blow over or the weekend by federal judge matthew brand who tossed out the campaign's lawsuit which claimed democratic caughts allowed voters to f their ballots while republican counties did not. the judge, an obama appointee but a registered republican, said he could not throw out 7 million pennsylvania votes because, quote: this court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations unsupported by evidence. the trump campaign filed an emergency appeal with the third

circuit. the campaign wants the judge to issue a temporary restraining order to stop the certification of pennsylvania's results while the appeals courts litigate the case. now, the campaign claims judge brand misinterpreted them over the weekend. quote: the campaign is not seeking to disenfranchise 6.8 million pennsylvanians. the campaign only seeks to awe side the affected mail-in ballots. the second lawsuit was filed be by a group of republicans here in pennsylvania. they too are seeking an emergency action by the state court to block the certification of election results while their lawsuit makes its way through the legal process. all of that, lou, while the pennsylvania supreme court decided tonight that some 12,000 ab ten tee ballots that missed some information on their outer envelopes, things like a date or a signature while the

pennsylvania supreme court decided that those ballots should all count. that was decided just a couple hours ago. lou? lou: bryan, thank you very much. very interesting courts in pennsylvania. it doesn't seem to matter what the rules are, everything goes. bryan, thanks so much for being with us. in michigan state legislators there hold a hearing into election irregularities this coming wednesday. fox news correspondent garrett tenney with the latest. garrett. >> reporter: well, lou, that hearing is likely part of an ongoing investigation the gop-controlled state legislature launched shortly after the election looking into allegations that the election process was mishandled. that process, though, took another step forward just a few minutes ago when the state board of canvassers voted to certify the election results, cementing joe biden's victory in the state. the board, which is comprised of two democrats and two republicans, voted to certify 3-0. one of the republicans who was not in favor of certification

and had concerns about the tracking and reporting of votes in wayne county voted to be abstain. the other says the board doesn't have new authority to investigate claims of fraud and has no choice but to certify. the fight over michigan doesn't stop here though. for weeks the trump campaign and the gop have been calling for an audit or a recount, but state law doesn't allow that to happen until the results are certified. so at this point, they can now make a formal request for those to happen. it is important to note though even among those who have been raising concerns about the election process in michigan, they have said that the number of votes affected will likely not be enough to have any kind of impact on the outcome. what is important to them, though, is the integrity of the process going forward. lou? lou: garrett, thanks so much. garrett tenney reporting. coming up next here, more on the president's fight for a free and fair election. the president's lead attorney,

[laughter] this despite republican lawmakers saying they're not aware of any investigate that would change -- information that would change the outcome of the election. we asked the attorney general's office what is it doing considering legal action, the office told us it can't comment on pending investigations, taking a page out of the fbi's book and political corruption, it appears. joining us tonight from washington, d.c., rudy giuliani, president trump's personal attorney, former mayor of new york city, federal prosecutor, great american. rudy, good to have you on the broadcast. let's start with the attorney general in michigan deciding to go after two state legislators who met with the president. ah, they're tough people in michigan, aren't they, those radical dems? >> and also a were they wearing masks or not wearing masksesome in maybe the mask didn't quite cover their nose, i'm not sure. lou: complicated. >> meanwhile, the attorney general of michigan is missing the fact that 100,000 ballots

were brought in at 4:30 in the morning in detroit in trucks that looked like garbage trucks in garbage pails, actually. all those ballots were counted for biden with no republican inspectors around. we've got something called witnesses -- lou: what is it -- >> -- that could testify to it under oath, but i guess the michigan attorney general doesn't like witnesses that testify under ott about things that are damaging to democrats. what a phony, total phony. they had -- what happened in detroit can only be described as the worst fraud i've ever seen cowered out deliberately by the hack democrat crooked party of detroit. the over-votes are 140, 150, 200%, 300, 400%. how can you have 40% over-vote without having fraud? and the attorney general doesn't care about that because he doesn't care about democrats stealing elections.

lou: well, it seems to be -- [inaudible conversations] lou: -- a broad theme. well, you could think it could be a bipartisan issue, electoral integrity. >> not with -- lou: well, who knew they were so crooked in michigan, in pennsylvania? just about everybody. the fact is that we weren't prepared -- [laughter] for this election, it appears, because some people are getting surprised by what we're witnessing in philadelphia, in detroit, chicago is going to be the next surprise. the question i've got is now we've been watching you pursue, well, electoral fraud through the mail-in ballots. welcome tomorrow fraud as well -- electoral fraud as well through the software and the claims about dominion. a break with sidney powell over the weekend. what's behind that, and what is

the motive, the reason for the split between powell and giuliani at all? >> well, i think it's because we're pursuing two different theories. our theory of the case to get to the supreme court now in four places and it's soon going to be in two others, and there'll be an overall lawsuit, is basically misconduct of the election by state officials in at least five or six different states in which the misconduct of the election involved depravation of constitutional rights of the president. for example, in one part of the astronaut you could fix d -- state, you could fix a ballot. democrat part. other part of the state, you couldn't fix the ballot. one part of the state the ballots were examined, the other part of the state they didn't care if the ballots were examined. in pennsylvania there are 680,000 unexamined ballots that virtually were put in secretly

by democrats alone. that's outrageous. that is misconduct of the election. elections are supposed to be conducted under the auspices of the laws passed by the legislature and, in fact, they made a mockery of it in pennsylvania. the only place maybe worse is michigan, and particularly the city of detroit. the city of detroit probably had more voters than it had citizens. i'm exaggerating a bit, but all you have to do is look at statistical data, and you can see the fraud was rampant and out of control. what happened this time, lou, they had these mail ballots which i think was always part of the plan. they always cheated somewhat with absentee ballots. but, for example, they only had 450,000 absentee ballots four years ago in pennsylvania. this time they had 2.6 million. that's like, you know, that's like letting a couple of thieves free all night in tiffany. and these expert voter fraud

people, which you've got to say that pittsburgh and pennsylvania -- and philadelphia and detroit have a great expertise in voter fraud. these are the first elections they've stolen. but this time they had massive ballots to do it with, and and we have evidence, the evidence has been presented, and the media lies that we have no evidence. they're just too lazy to read our 100 affidavits which are on the public record from american citizens -- lou: well, you and i, you and i -- yeah. i think we should not in any way desummer. the national left-wing media by calling them lazy. i think you and i both know that they are politically corrupt and lying -- [laughter] with the establishment that means to carry out its will even in an election of, you know, which 74 million people cast votes apparently not knowing

attorneys, and they sound like they're supplicants. they're going before these judges saying, please, please, will you listen to our story, will you listen to the evidence. they're not demanding a damn thing. they're supplicants. they're everything but prostrated in front of these judges. what in hell has happened to the republican party? we know what the democrats are, they're the party of hate. they're going to do everything they can to win. 9 what the hell is the republican party? can you define it for us in one sentence? >> well, to a degree, it's a ongoing concern. it's because of one man largely, it's president trump, who has motivated tens of millions of activists and voters, quite obviously. it's not because of any leadership from congress. i mean, you don't have to be a liberal or conservative to draw that conclusion. and what's been so troubling to me as head of judicial watch, seeing this government corruption go unaddressed by the republican clan here in washington, d.c., they committed the coup impeachment against

74 million americans voted for the man. and everybody who voted for him right now has a lot of questions. maybe the people who didn't vote for him don't, but they do. and the truth is we don't know a lot about this election yet. we didn't, we didn't hear from dominion about who owns the company. the company that has so many pieces of software and machinery involved in this election and lots of questions. i don't even hear a reporter worth their salt say just who does own you, mr. or ms. dominion, whoever the spokesperson is. why don't we know who owns you? why don't we know what your software does and how it does it? and whether these algorithms are actually, actually having an effect on outcomes? and how do you get a decimal out of an election where there are only truly two candidates? and every candidate gets whole votes. i mean, this is bizarre stuff.

and don't you think somebody should be asking those questions? >> well, i hearken back to what hillary clinton said. it was hillary clinton, ironically enough, that said never, ever concede, never, ever give up no matter what happens. so, you know, then donald trump does something like that and suddenly, you know, the world's coming unglued, and he's going to get criticized. i do think it was imcouple bent on republicans and democrats, election officials, to go through this exercise with dominion and others before the election. i don't know why they couldn't have highlighted this and said this is going to be a problem before the election. i think that would have been better. but there are new technologies like block chain technology and other types of ways to go through this process. but, yeah, i think they should answer some tough questions. what should we be afraid of? what might the answer be, lou? lou: and why, why oh why, are

these democrats so, well, so overwhelmed with desperate you arecity to wrap -- urgency to wrap this thing up well before the deadline's set for the electors to meet to have their votes counted. why are they so anxious? because, you know, this is just, you know, we were talking about in 2000 that didn't get wrapped up until, i believe, it was december 12th. and we're a ways away from that. and we could be even farther away from it. we could be into january without any problem at all. so this is really very suspicious. what is it they don't want the american people to though? besides the fact that we have three election companies that we don't no who owns them, we don't know where their servers are located, and we don't know how they're counting, and we don't know why they're destroying ballots that they just processed

just now. couldn't they find a place in the cloud to cubed of hang on to that -- kind of hang on to that so there wouldn't be any concern? jason, this just looks really, really bad. and, by the way, what happened to william barr and john durham and the investigations? and, you know, there's so many unanswered questions. because we know there are a lot of, lot of politically corrupt actors who have been involved in our headlines for a very long time who have suddenly disappeared. >> we're going to need another hour, lou, because i can't answer all those questions -- [laughter] in a quick time frame. the bottom line is they all hate donald trump because donald trump changed america fundamentally. just like what you wrote about in your book, he fundamentally changed america, and he did so for the better. lou: absolutely. and it looks like he's got a real shot at continuing to make america even greater. jason chaffetz, thanks for being

it is great to have you with us, congressman. i want to start with, first, dominion. they are attracting a lot of attention, and i haven't found anybody yet who knows who owns the company. i'm just curious. they have quite a presence in arizona over the election. does -- have you ever heard of anybody talk about who owns them? >> well, we've been trying, lou. but it's interesting that even the senate last year and a subcommittee are review of this election machine basically called them 100% corruptible. 100% corruptible. lou: yep. >> and we got all these senators lining up, you know, defacing the president. it's sad. and it's interesting that the software in phoenix, maricopa county, and then also in las vegas where a lot of the corruption actually showed it was happening. lou: and let's just take a look

at the relationship between dominion and the swamp itself, if we could put up that full screen, because it is really interesting to see that dominion doe sated $25-50,000 to the clinton foundation, had a $2.2 million contract from the clinton foundation, employs former jeb bush/paul ryan operative michael, contracts with them at least. you know, this -- and it goes on, it really does. the state of texas wouldn't have anything to do with dominion, and it's surprising to see that any secretary of state anywhere in the country would given the track record that they are building for themselves right now. the split in the vote in maricopa county was 2%, 50-48 in favor of the former e vice president. what do you think accounts for that, that margin? this is a guy who couldn't, who

wouldn't leave his basement to campaign so, i mean, i get surprised by these things. >> absolutely. especially when we saw this president drawing crowds like -- right and left. people coming from allover to see him. so when you look at it, something is off. and i'll give you two races. there were two state senate races, lou, that they outperformed the president but 10,000 votes and 7,000 votes. when it was the president that got them across the finish hine. that's absurd. is so start looking at the numbers, they just don't match up. they just don't match up. and we're seeing these algorithm changes that made president trump's votes biden's votes. and that's why we asked for a forensic audit so welcomed look at each of -- we could looked at each of the ballots and then compare it against the machine,
