influence our public opinion, they want to influence the young minds going through academic institutions and universities and they want to capture people, the honeypot sex scandal. liz: i hear what you're saying about that, finish your thought. >> i'm assuming it's not just a handful, it's hundreds of thousands. remember when the chinese packed in to the office of management and the government personnel office and they took files and downloaded files, everybody who had been a government official of any sort from secretary to secretary to state for the last 20 years, what are they doing with all the information, they're using it to compromise people, to watch them as they go through the government process to see what influence they can bring to bear. liz: why is congress so back on his heels. democrat swalwell is demanding

liz: we have breaking news, the supreme court denied the texas lawsuit, former u.s. attorney brett tolman, they deny the appeal over four of the state saying texas did not have standing, your reaction to that. >> we knew that standing was going to be the issue, the question was can one state not directly involved in the voting of the other state, they claim they are harmed because standing is about injury so that was the issue many of us thought if it failed it would feel on the

issue. liz: we had 126 house republicans including kevin mccarthy supporting the lawsuit against the four states alleging unconstitutional vote and we had 22 democrat ag's side with the four states opposing the texas suit 18 republican ag's supported texas, that shows the nation divided, the nation is totally split. people feel the election was manipulated. the four states are firing back saying were allowed to run our vote the way we see fit. but your take on this, women nation divided i in the republicans can lose good control with the runoff coming up in a few weeks. >> is a precarious time for the country, there is division like we have not se seen it. the fact that it is so steep in

how is texas directly affected by what happened in wisconsin, pennsylvania, michigan or georgia, the issue is the supreme court denied the texas lawsuit and it should read how the election was conducted in four states. so how is texas affected by what the four states to? >> their argument it was interesting and like i told you it was clever and it was not substantive enough and too clever, we are a neighboring state we conducted ours in a certain way and the due process and equal protection clause of the constitution dictates the other states run it in a way that is constitutional so our votes have now been harmed and the ability to proceed in the public is hard. standing is a direct injury rule of law and you have to have a

direct injury and the court looked at it and probably said we cannot find a direct injury to texas. liz: let's talk about what's going on in georgia, georgia has not seen a democrat senator in two decades, there is an issue of the democrats when it's over, the republicans lose control of the senate, the president has questionquestions about how was conducted in georgia, trump loyalist in georgia are saying the president is right, others in georgia are saying he is wrong, when you come down on that? >> i have attorneys and friends that are working on this issue some i have the utmost respect for and they very clearly outlined not just irregularities but spikes in votes that are unexplainable, issues with
