stuart: the fbi is warning no more arm protested state capitals that is ahead of the inauguration on wednesday former acting director of national intelligence is ric grenell and he joins us now. realistically can i call you mrr title. but realistically sir, what should we expect. >> first of all call me rick that's the most appropriate wording. i think when you look at what's happening in washington, d.c. you look at the number of troops and what the democrat who are leading washington to make the place safer doing you have to conclude one thing. walls work for politicians in washington, d.c. even though
11:30 am
they don't like walls working for the rest of america. what they are doing in building by putting up these walls is saying only the people who have permission get to come inside for the inauguration and that's what a wall is designed to do and i find it quite troubling that when it comes to politicians they make sure walls go up very quickly but when it comes to america people safety they try to make walls to be a racist tactic. stuart: is an outrageous situation that ordinary people are not allowed to take part in this inauguration in d.c., that's a real departure for our democracy i think. >> lets remember 234 people were arrested for writing during the trump inauguration. let me say that again 234 people for writing, this whole process
11:31 am
of turning the inauguration into political writing started when the democrats decided that they didn't want to support donald trump's inauguration and let's also remember we had more than 65 democrats not going to the inauguration, refusing to go to the inauguration where were supposed to celebrate a peaceful transition of power. so this started many years ago and i think it's only gotten worse where people politically protest and some small number of those people start moving into rioting, looting and burning down buildings, we saw last summer and we saw on a baseball field in washington, d.c. we saw portland, seattle, minneapolis and now the capital all terrible and we need to be joining together to condemn political protest the turn into rioting and learning looting and burning

11:33 am
president harris is going have to spent her time on capitol hill won't be at the white house as much because she is a function of the hundred and first senator that leaves susan rice unchecked behind the scenes not only doing domestic policy but all of foreign policy. we know that she's an expert on foreign policy and what is going to happen she's going to control both domestic and foreign policy issues, joe biden loves her and reportedly wanted her to be vice president but the former president barack obama stepped in and said joe you need somebody with legislative experience, this could be the reason why susan rice is choosing domestic policy to get that under her belt and we may see her run for the senate or some other position later, this is a resume padding position and she will be like the shadow president. stuart: rick, that is a fascinating insight to the interworking of the future
