2021. all these businesses are being hurt and you see across the country if you're a restaurant owner or employee in less you live in florida you're being hurt the most through this entire pandemic and we see a 1.9 trillion stimulus bill and it does not target small businesses or families especially restaurants. they're not even going to see the relief. we need more law and order and we need our elected officials to represent individuals that put them in office. elizabeth: kim you were out in front on this, you are in baltimore and you're right in 2014 president obama called in the national guard in baltimore after the freddie gray riot, he condemned the writers saying those who looted and started fire should be treated like terminals, thousands of troops were deployed to your city that was president obama saying stop it. what changed since then? >> i don't know, catering to those extreme leftist that want to push the black lives matter

movement and once we push the narrative that everybody and everything in america is so racist. president albina actually condemned it and the differences we had a lot more arrest happened during the 2015 riots and that's why you saw it taper off so quickly because he did say you've got to restore law and order in baltimore but importantly what we see in the professional down in d.c. injured they are not doing anything. they're allowing the criminals to run free and run their cities while regular local people patronizing the restaurants are living in fear and in danger. elizabeth: you know let me back up americans aren't for political extremism especially violent extremism is about modern nation and the consent of the governed, we've been talking about that for a long time. but here is what's not being talked about. last year we saw the largest year-over-year increase in homicide ever reported in u.s.

history the homicide rate and 34 cities was 30% higher in 2020 compared to the prior year, the new york post is going to run the story i think they just ran it, this is according to the national commission october 19 in criminal justice. it kim the victims are disproportionately african-american. at least 8600 black lives were lost the homicide in 2020. don't those lives matter? >> we asked that question all the time, here we are in 2021 in baltimore city we had 31 murders and their all-black individuals. i see billboards in baltimore right now by the fbi and the local fbi asking about the information on those that reach the capital on january 6 but there's not one billboard asking about a murder that has hurt somebody's family member in baltimore. we don't have our cases being

closed it's about a 30% rate that were closing cases and witnesses are not coming forward which is the biggest impediment in all these cases. when are we actually going to enact this black lives matter, i just don't know. >> we had you as missouri senator josh hawley's wife filing a criminal complaint against the man who organized the protest outside the home in virginia. aaron holly filed a criminal complaint, basically senator hawley and his wife and infant child inside their house and their home was vandalized. we had that happening. we also have a fight over reopening and i like your reaction to this, we had teachers unions, they are now going insane were not going to go back into schools until were vaccinated until it's safe when you have nurses, firemen, cops, grocery store workers, mailman going back on the job, we have a

to mention one other thing backa in march in west virginia the poor state the little state that did not have any way of surviving except for a day of prayer, in that day of prayer i said a day of prayer and i'm anything but reverend jim but with all that since that time forward just look at how west virginia has done they lead the nation all across the board, we started with the day of prayer and from the standpoint of the attorney general doing what they're doing, i just don't see how in the world anything can be as crazy as that and on top of all of that the governor doing all this stuff i don't get it, i don't get it because if you don't keep the people with you you will really be in real trouble and that is all there is to it.

we will not get to that point time and i'm a real believer if we would've had solid leadership whether be in the chicago area or the california area or wherever it may be we would've lead people along and in west virginia we put all our teachers back to work were not in a situation where teachers are demanding more from things like crazy or the unions are going crazy we have just as much union issues as they would have in california but really and truly when it boilst down to it, think about this. we know remote learning is not working. we know the needs of our special needs kids are unbelievable and we know that kids when we do not have eyes on them bad things are happening all over the place. in west virginia we moved up the teachers and the service personnel age 50 and above and got them vaccinated and then we put everybody back in school, again i cannot believe what we
