still working and driving, sharp as a tack and he got sick right after christmas and through mishapsnd and illnesses he ended up in rehab and between rehab and in the hospital back and forth he had become bedridden because there is no workers taking care of people and either the hospital or the nursing home because the virus was hitting. elizabeth: go ahead and finish. >> we were told the march 25 order was coming out and we should take my father home we were very involved in taking care of him so we worked as hard as we could to get them out it took us a couple of days because the hospital unfortunately did not take care of him the nursing home did what they had to do we got him home and i'm sorry to say ten days later almost ten days later my father passed away from covid, morey than that not only did my father die of covid

we had other three family members my uncle and two cousins and three of the four were in nursing homes. elizabeth: this is so outrageous, we cannot even express how much sorrow we feel for you guys and your family. it is terrible governor cuomo is doubling down he's not apologizing for his order critics are saying created a super spreader disaster nursing homes he said blaming nursing homes visitors and workers, what do you say. >> i would say his administration said that they froze the trump administration sent them a letter about the deaths and i would say what does he think you put them to perspective we froze we were in a race for our father's life on march 25, we were on a race to save him from this race from
