taiwan, they talked about hong kong and the uighur concentration camps. the chinese said this is our business is domestic of chinese affairs and has nothing to do with the negotiation so it's not even on the table in the biden administration sent for human rights reasons it is on the table and nothing went past that, both sides are in a stalemate, i think it's interesting to see the chinese response. in the past the chinese have hidden their ambition and their aggressiveness and their swagger but now they're out in the open. they basically think the united states is finished 21st century belongs to china and china will set the terms of the deal in the united states better fall into line. >> the biden administration is talking tough against china the question will be will they follow with tough words with some tough deeds. elizabeth: this is really a tough talk we hear right now and now we hear the biden of

administration in another fight with russia russia reacting angrily to biden calling vladimir putin a killer calling unprecedented and describing the relationship between the two countries is very bad. what do you think approves idea doing a live debate streaming with biden? >> just think about it, if donald trump or president he would jump at the opportunity to do a live debate. i'm pretty sure the biden administration will find some excuse and some reason not to do it. it's an indication that u.s. russian relations are not in a good place and the doctor to becoming a good place and quite frankly what we would have to do to make them go to a good place is probably something we don't want to do, between the russians and chinese they think they have the same administration on the run and is the only way with this a administration. they both continue to press their issues. elizabeth: we had that we are the u.s. secretary of state anthony blinken warning all companies participated in

russia's north pipeline that is delivering russian gas into germany to stop that immediately. it feels like there's a new potential cold war, and escalation going on and then you have this young the democrats killing a house republican resolution to remove democrat eric swalwell from house intelligence. when you saw that happen what was your reaction? >> the guy does not belong on the house intelligence committee and republican or democrat you should basically stand up for america national security and interests. what i think swalwell is a tippet the iceberg we talked about this before i don't think he's only guy that's been compromised by the chinese whether they know it or not i would like to see government wide investigation of where the chinese are doing this what influence are they peddling where the financial relationships of the members of congress or administration, look at hunter biden hunter biden still has a financial relationship with chinese

companies, the chinese are all over this and i think eric swalwell is the tip of the iceberg he does not belong on any committees but i would like to know who else is in the same position. elizabeth: the fbi briefed house minority leader kevin mccarthy about swalwell's entanglement with the chinese by an brief nancy pelosi as well. kevin mccarthy says it's worse than the public realizes what happened with eric swalwell. i would like to ask you after we take a listen to kevin mccarthy. >> intel committee is different than any committee we have we have all the secrets of our nation, it's very simple if eric swalwell cannot get a security clearance with the company he should not be beyond the security clearance with the country that's what we gave him but he could not get one with a job in the private sector. >> i got a classified briefing with fbi in speaker pelosi she knows what i know and she knows he does not deserve or should belong on this committee.

elizabeth: what is kevin mccarthy nancy pelosi no that everybody else does not know. >> my guess it was financial as well a honeypot relationship as well as a scandal it was probably financial because she was assembling donors to invest in his campaign and to me that is more dangerous because he needs them now and he needs the money she's assembling for him to continue his political career i would like to know how many other members of congress are in that position and the other thing most people don't understand and i'll explain what mccarthy meant by that when i joined government, anybody in the executive branch or congressional branch if your an employee of the u.s. government or contractor you have to fill out a long extensive form that says these are the foreigners i bumped into a people and that it congress and people in my life you list every foreign national

legislature was involved in this, cuomo's office was involved in this, it reeks of death because that's what they caused and they knew they were going to cause it. my brother was mentioning this week was a wiki locked everybody out of the nursing home visiting their loved ones and a week later he shuts down and forces coated what was at 9000 covid patients, he lock this out this is the hardest week for any nursing him family because this is the week the governor locked us out and next week he sent covid in and it's a very emotional week to every family member because we lost touch with their loved ones, we couldn't see them and we could not visit them and he did not know he was sending covid in march 25, the fbi has made it back to april 5 which is when he stuck in the legislation, it's not the april 5 problem is not the data problem it's a march 25

♪ elizabeth: let's welcome back to the show the center for american liberties' mark trammell. mark it's so good to see you. more confusion from john kerry. he's pressuring wall street to help create a world that is totally green, net zero carbon emissions. he wants wall street to help do that. politico reporting no one on wall street knows what kerry is talking about or what he means by it. what do you think of that? >> yeah. you know, i think chaos is really the best way to describe this. you know, even just stepping back, thed idea that we have, of all people, john kerry negotiating this deal with wall street. i mean, if there was a poster child for washington, d.c. hypocrisy, it would be john kerry. i mean, this is the same guy who flies all over the world in his private jet while lecturing the rest of us about climate change and our carbon footprint. yet we have john kerry representing the united states

there for them to go code. they've got to put food on the table for their families. american airlines, you mentioned john kerry and the airplanes, he was caught not wearing a mask on an american airlines flight. american airlines says it's going to investigate. we've got parents, adults, children have been kicked off for not wearing a mask. more than 2500 people have been banned from airlines for not wearing a mask. we also have a 4-year-old, carter kimball, he's nonverbal, he's got autism, kicked off an airline. he had a doctor's note. but then we've got john kerry sitting there saying, he's lecturing everyone else about wearing a mask saying it saves lives, it stops the spread, it's what the science tells us to do. did the science tell him to take off his mask on the airplane? [laughter] >> yeah. the science definitely does not say that. and the reality is john kerry doesn't believe what he says. i mean, if john kerry really believes that taking his mask off or -- rather, wearing a mask

is going to save lives, he wouldn't have taken it off. his response to the criticism on twitter, it was so arrogant. he said if i lowered my mask, as if that were even a question. we have photographic evidence. he clearly lowered his mask. his tray table was up. it wasn't as though he was taking a sip or water or that airport coffee we all love, right? no, he was sitting in an airport -- sitting in his chair drinking, excuse me, sitting in his chair and not drinking, he was not following any of the rules. and there shouldn't be special treatment for john kerry. and i think this is the point, right? last month john kerry, when being criticized for flying on a private jet, said for people like me, this is really the only choice. and the reality is john kerry believes there are two sets of rules. there are rules that apply to him, and then there are rules that apply to the rest of us, and it's just unjust. elizabeth: well, critics keep

saying he keeps undercutting his credibility, and people aren't going to listen to hum anymore. he called it, quote, momentary that he had his mask off. it only talks the virus moments to infect someone. all airlines, per federal guidance, say you've got to wear the mask at all times on flights except when eating or drinking. he was reading. it's not just a momentary issue. you've got to do it the whole time. what do you saw, final word on that -- say, final word on that. >> again, what john kerry does and says are two different things. he lectures us on flying and traveling, yet he's doing it, he's doing it in a private jet. you know, and at the same time, he's lecturing us about wearing a mask, about how masks save lives, but he's not even following the rules of american airlines or the rules that the president has issued through executive order. so john kerry thinks he can get away with it. i'm really glad that american airlines is investigating.
