larry: your curtailing their production of garden stimulating command it's not good. rebecca, liz, jim jordan i think we lost him, everybody, thank you for watching spit macintosh disgrace and embarrassment on our southern border. thousands of migrant children packed like sardines and holding facilities as the covid pandemic rages on. a new report claims the border search is about to get far worse. i am guy benson and for kennedy this week. we finally got video of 1 of the detention centers, the biting administration does not want you to cpb are taking a look at this video from donna, texas. kids are all over latin america held in a wildly overcrowded warehouses and tent cities as they await processing. don't take my word for it, listen to the agents on the

ground. >> the capacity for this location for covid is 250 bird we are holding over 4100 subjects in this location alone. so you did the mapco. we're way over capacity we are like 7 100% over capacity. >> based upon what we've already apprehended and what is remaining in the fiscal year, we will have approximately about a million apprehensions or encounters this year. >> a million and you think it's bad now, cnn reports internal government estimates claimed, as we just heard, 1 or maybe even 2 million migrants will attempt to enter the united states this year but that's equivalent to the entire population of houston, texas bird the only people who do not seem to think this is a big deal and will not even called a crisis are the folks working inside the white house. why is this happening? and importantly how do we fix it? here me tonight former acting secretary of homeland security of visiting fellow at the heritage foundation, chad wolf. mr. secretary thanks for being here. >> good to be here thank you.
8:02 pm
so team biden and the president himself or sing some of the following things is not a crisis, it is not unusual, this is seasonal. and that in fact it is your administration's fault this is happening. your response? speckled guy i would say all those very incorrect. but we know this is not seasonal there are certain front of the receipt hired travel higher illegal. the month of february there over 100,000 illegal that's the highest february over 20 years. what we knows about the messaging in the policy when the biting administration has really fueled the increase crisis on the border paid the insertion the trump menstruation broke the immigration system and the biden administration is having to fix separate that's not true the facts are not back that up. what we did is we inherited a broken system we ended catch and release. we instituted consequences to
8:03 pm
those who cross the border illegally. that's what missing today the current administration is treating this as it's a capacity issue open more facilities. as a jew at the going to continue to see the surgeon leisure address the illegal activity that is causing it. speckle cable into solutions here in a minute. first you mentioned a rhetoric. go back to the record here. secretary said the border is secure. the border is closed. but if you send children here, they will be welcomed in, they'll be cared for they'll be flown at taxpayer expense elsewhere in the country to see relatives. when you take that combination of mixed messaging what is the ultimate message received? i think it seems pretty obvious, yes? >> is certainly a confusing message and domestic life you're in the northern migrant in mexico or elsewhere the message is very clear preview
8:04 pm
approach the board and get into the united states you will stay in you'll stay here for a while. i think if you actually go back some of the messaging from dhs leadership early on was you can come, but do not come now which is a very confusing message. not shifted to the borders, the border is secure. i think it is anything but that by the cdp agents on the ground will tell you within think about that when you have over 1000 illegal apprehensions in february and march are likely to see over 140,000 apprehensions. at the most 5000 a day. this of the thousand the border control cannot catch. >> of this the huge part of it as well press a lost peace of this entire conversation, what can be done, specifically from concrete steps right now to help get this under control? >> absolutely are 3 things they can do. one, they can apply the title 42 public health authority to minors and turn those individuals back around just as we did pretty put them back
8:05 pm
on plane to put them back to the northern triangle you reunite them with their families that is 1. two, you reinstitute the migrant protection protocols i knew make individuals that are claiming asylum weight in mexico. because what that does of the entity that routes out the fraud. you know that individuals with illegitimate asylum claims, folks who know they're not going to get it will not wait there. as her train to root out that fraud and abuse. then he went to make sure you can finish the border wall system. construction of that will also help the agency manage this. and that how to institute our silo cooperative with guatemala, honduras and el salvador. all 3 of those are all 4 of those measures were working since the end of 2019, end of 2023 did not see a crisis like we are expressing today. guy: mr. secretary think of your time today. stomach thank you. guy: meanwhile during instagram live session lesson government cyber congress woman joe concha appeared outrage when she was asked what she was not addressing
8:06 pm
the order crisis like she had the past. she responded are you for real? went on to condemn the use of the word surge as, wait for, super racist. watch. >> anyone is using the word storage around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic framing. this is not a surge these are children. and they are not insurgents. and we are not being invaded. which, by the way is a white supremacist idea, philosophy. guy: oh brother. hitter claim sparked outrage most witnessing the crisis firsthand. speaking of which aoc is among the many democrats and coding president biden who is yet to visit the border during this crisis. and no announced plans to do separate let's get into it with the panel townhall.com, had no that place editor and fox news contributor katie pavlich is here, my friend all
8:07 pm
friends tonight. here's the hilt media, fox news contributor joe concha and former state department deputy spokesperson fox news contributor she is toasting radio show someone else, marie was here the whole crew. that videos aoc is really something, militaristic? white supremacy to use the word surge, wait until she hears about surge pricing at uber and left she's going to blow a gasket. this is wild, katie. >> it is a sneer allays the arguments just not true. 51% of border patrol agents are hispanic or latino. if you want to talk about threats of this country and militaristic problems, while the border patrol every single day is reporting all of the convicted offenders who have abused children both in the united states and in mexico and central american countries that are being caught at the border but if you look at
8:08 pm
texas being overwhelmed by this unaccompanied minor crisis, there are a number of people thousands of people that are getting away in places like arizona. those are the bad guys who want to do the country harm who are struggling drugs into the country going into midwestern states that have opioid crisis. this is a lazy argument to say this is about white supremacy breed this is an international border. it's been described as sovereignty is completely broken down on the southern border but it's absolute true. for her to just throw out the old white supremacy line is contrary to the facts of the people of been set up to fail which is the border patrol agents in this case. >> is just the definition of the word surge is what it means, joe, she also went on later to talk about an imperialism crisis. she said it's not an immigration it's imperialism i think she was really going to hit a woke bingo there she nailed it. here's my thing, she has not been down there. is it about time for aoc to
8:09 pm
bring a camera crew and go to a fence in front of a parking lot and cry and scream at the parking lot customer that's it was all during the last administration when there were a lot fewer kids in cages. >> that is right the all-white outfit on her knees crying about the situation that was going on at the border. i believe that photo was taken 2018. this search infinitely worse as you reported earlier. you have 1 facility 17 times the number of people that would be in there in a pandemic no less. i believe that's probably a super spreader event and obviously of migrants are being released into the u.s. population that are testing positive for covid but only being told to quarantine if they can. well, or would they be doing that? but this is the same person, alexandria ocasio-cortez who called the surge at the border
8:10 pm
in 2018 and the migrant facilities that were holding children concentration camps. she won't well be on kids engage issue right to the whole not see evoking of concentration camps. so she says don't call the border crisis a surge, she will not call it the biden administration won't. and the facts the president and vice president been tasked to solve the problem do not have any plans to visit anytime soon shows you just have not seriously they are taking this problem, gaia. guy: marie i know how much you love to augment aoc m going to come out this me different perspective from you. but he talked about communication for if you can put your spokesperson hat back on for a second there are factual challenges on the ground there also messaging challenges. they keep refusing to call this a crisis. if a message from administration or principle is clearly clashing with reality or not working out, how does the process look internally about how do we perhaps start
8:11 pm
to change the way we talk about something? suspect the problem is different parts of our country politically of different versions of reality right now. the white house is pointed out that indeed there are surges, see general surges that happen different times in different years relief seemed very high numbers read some cases higher than what we see now back in 2019 for example. >> there blowing out those records now. >> what i think the white house is trying to focus on, gaia, it is also a lazy argument to paint or portray people coming to this country illegally seeking asylum in many cases buried or unaccompanied minors as somehow all threat. and so the white house is saying rivet minor situation they're in this country we do not have the capacity bring in new he looks at these kids and thanks they are a threat is wrong. they are trying to message against that. there also trying to restore a
8:12 pm
system of our responsibility for people to be able to claim asylum. will able to claim the responsibility morally. they're both sides of the aisle very politically. there try to push back on an equal lazy argot with the portray these immigrants is people seeking a better life in our country as all somehow threatening paired because that's just not the case, gaia, that's of the try to push at the white house. >> kids with coveted american schools are threats of teacher students but a partly kids to kids in these facility's are not a threat. [inaudible] guy: were going to get to that. guy: ladies we got to go. lately got to go. so many responses i would like to make but we are upon the clock for the panel will return label later if they behave. coming up, branded details about the special treatment of and are cuomo, his brother 8 liberal cnn post, chris received at the peak of the pandemic.

and about the doctor reportedly spent hours at chris cuomo's home instead of coordinating covid testing and nursing homes. that, plus breaking news about the governor's book deal. janice and dean joins after the break to discuss. i don't know. i think they look good, man. mm, smooth. uh, they are a little tight. like, too tight? might just need to break 'em in a little bit. you don't want 'em too loose. for those who were born to ride there's progressive. with 24/7 roadside assistance. -okay. think i'm gonna wear these home. -excellent choice.

guy: they were quote treated like royalty by the "washington post" releasing a scathing report with the special treatment and priority testing given to members of new york governor andrew almost inner circle last year according to dorsal set testing sites in early march 2020 at least 100 people referred to as priorities, specials and critical were able to have their samples and tests rushed to the front of the line. all in the face of overworked staff and scarce supplies. a top state doctors dispatch to assist the governor's brother, cnn liberal opinion host chris cuomo at a swanky home in the hamptons. as spokesperson for the governor has denied these claims. meanwhile neither the younger cuomo know anyone at his network have mentioned any of this on air. and they completely ignored coverage of the ninth woman
8:18 pm
has come forward with accusations of misconduct against the governor. surprise, surprise. so as an ethics investigation by the state attorney general going to be enough to bring the governor down? joining me to it discuss box to senior meteorologist janice dean who lost her in-laws to covid-19 in new york nursing homes i want to get your response from the breaking times in your times the new articles entitled here's the headline, as cuomo sought for million-dollar book deal, aids head damaging death toll. that really says it all. >> it says it all for just added to the list of impeachable possible criminal impacts this governor should face. guy, it is disgusting. actually when i heard he was writing a book i thought it was a joke. what governor in the middle of a pandemic, losing thousands upon thousands of people in new york state, including those who died in nursing
8:19 pm
homes, what governor would write a book? this 1. and it should be a fiction book with all of the inaccuracies provided in the book. the fact is getting $4 million is just despicable. guy: millions of dollars but here's the peace of this, janice, i think is interesting buried all along we talk about the political reasons that cuomo may have had to cover up their nursing home scandal. to try to make it go away. and really goose the numbers, hide the real data, right? it's all a manipulation. you could say he's a politician is doing it for political reasons. if he's getting a huge book deal the whole premise of the book is look how good i am on this issue, there is the financial incentive for the cover up as well, $4 million worth. >> absolutely. he gained financially from the loss of my in-laws basically. and i hope this book that he wrote on leadership is used
8:20 pm
against him in a court of law. guy: janice i want to go to the timeline here briefly for the times union, which is a newspaper up in albany, they reported about the special treatment for friends and family about a week ago. cuomo's team denied appeared here's part of the denial quote it is an insecure effort to rewrite the past. then we have the "washington post" story that we talked about just a moment ago that not only confirmed that this all happened added to including more details there is a special vip separate database for testing samples for these vips and these prioritize cases who had connections to the governor. i want to read to from the story. here's a 1 line i think particular place to 1 thing you spent a lot of time thinking and talk about from the "washington post" pretty got the clipper quotes, a top

state physician hose a pandemic portfolio includes an coordinating testing and nursing homes was a dispatch to multiple time to the hampton, cnn host chris cuomo, the governor's brother, and testing visits at sometime stretched hours according to 2 people with knowledge of the consultation. so here is a top official who is supposed to be coordinating testing for nursing home being dragged to the hamptons to give special concierge service to chris cuomo. >> those tests could have saved lives, the end. guy: well janice, very briefly the blackout on 1 of our competitor networks work chris cuomo works, a lot of this stuff is not coming up on air. i understand he is not talking about. apparently no 1 else over there is either, your response to that quickly? >> of course not parade this is the same show that brought us the cuomo brothers comedy show. why would they bring up anything that could be used
8:22 pm
against them, both of them? >> that was 1 show all the sadness and ethical probably cannot cover the brother pete but they did it for a long time. and now the news has turned negative, that cannot happen anymore and then crickets from everyone else over there. janice, appreciated keep up the fight. >> thank you my friend. guy: coming up president biden rates roll out his massive multitrillion dollar spending package. and some democrats say it is not enough. how does the president plan to pay for any of it? jonathan honea breaks nc number straight had plus the story every parents in america has been waiting for, news that might force some holdout teachers back into classrooms. stay tuned. not in my house! ha ha ha! ha ha ha! no no no!

5 trillion-dollar infrastructure scheme. that fund not just upgrades to roads and bridges but also incentivizes electric vehicles, funds eldercare and attempts to combat gender and racial inequality. if you are thinking this is not just at infrastructure plan you're right. it is the biggest in government spending proposal in american history. even if adjusted for inflation but it might make fdr blush. biden's plan to cover the cost on this bill includes a corporate tax hike. but he is pledging that no 1 he makes less than $400,000 a year will pay for the spending spree. republicans are calling this a trojan horse for a socialist state so there's no way they could support such a proposal. joining me to it discuss capitalist pig hedge valid manager jonathan hoening, good to see you tonight. >> guy grates me with your being a generous calling it a scheme unless it is a ponzi
8:28 pm
scheme. gaia, the pandemic is ending thankfully is coming to an end , why are spending too trillion plus dollars and now? unless you believe in what i know certainly aoc the democrats and joe biden believe in, that is the broken window fallacy. government spending creates wealth as he no infrastructure program. third gender or racial equality just waiting to happen and this massive bill? i don't even have to ask the question we get that answer. it is only step 1 of a 2 bill sequenced to build back better we got $2 trillion almost on covid relief a lot of which is unrelated than more than 2 trilogy on infrastructure than
8:29 pm
a good 11 of the massive bill come down the pike no 1 who does not make $40000 is not going to pay for right that's a bunch of holy. as paid by who? their shareholders or no jobs at all, government getting control. there's an old saying my mother often say he who writes the checks makes the rules. that is why aoc want more and more spending part of course and they get to decide how our money, how taxpayer money is allocated. this is the real goal here, government control. guy: and look there's a reason my secretary buttigieg it was talk most low to the idea of the mileage tax rate there's a

reason why democratic senate assignment of value added tax. they are going to have to hit non- rich people to pay for even a fraction of this. briefly jonathan, last question depressing predict any of this matter? is anyone care will have huge spending, tax increases, right now isn't where the land of make-believe and it pulls wells we're going for. >> they should care, guy, because it doesn't work for its immoral to tax people. it's immoral but it does not work. even to present biden's own recovery back in 2008 that obama biden recovery was the slowest in modern history partner look at japan which has been stimulating for 20 plus years. europe has been the same thing for 10 years but all you are left with is a more abundant economy and tons and tons of debt. joe biden is leading us down that exact same route. >> and get ready it's coming like a freight train on tracks that need infrastructure help. jonathan we appreciate your time tonight, great

perspective as always. now, more good news to report the vaccine front it's potentially bad news for teachers who are trying to avoid returning to classrooms. today, pfizer announcer : vaccine is a 1 100% effective for children age 12 -- 15 parts up pole went out for the teachers claim to that excuse. despite that many educators still are not teaching in person like in san diego, california or in person classes will be held until april 12. at the earliest. but some teachers in the same schools are now volunteering to teach classes for illegal immigrant children being held in government facilities, in person for the rate of covid cases among kids in that facility are reportedly 9% while the rate of infection san diego broadly is 0.0018. schools are not safe they insist as they show up at much less safe facilities, in terms of covid commented teach kids
8:32 pm
in person who are not their students. while their actual students are sitting at home unzip it's amazing and the panel is back to talk about it. katie pavlich, joe concha, and marie harf. joe, here's a cynical reaction to what i had about the very good news from pfizer about adolescence being able to get this vaccine it's apparently what had% effective in some of these initial trials. my worry is, some teachers unions are going to say oh good, now we can demand that all kids have to be vaccinated before we can go back to in person instruction. that is like a new excuse they will come up with because they are constantly looking for them. the thing is, kids are not negatively affected overwhelmingly by coronavirus. kids can be saved in classrooms. they have been for the entire academic year, millions of them all across the country. but this peace of good news could be a weaponize by people do not want to show up and do their jobs.
8:33 pm
>> right guy. you talk every parent around here in new jersey that is our fear right now. that is going to be the excuse it's going to be made when the ball comes. because you hear even randi weingarten his part part of the teachers union talk about variance and now those were not sure about those that you talk to medical professionals and they say okay, even at this vaccine is approved probably these children are not going to get vaccinated until the fall. so to your point until they get it we can't quite be 1 100% sure that it's going to be safer children. even of the cdc director of the united states right now said that right now it's safe to go back to fully reopen schools. guy: with an vaccinated teacher. >> exactly part i have a 5 and 7-year-old. enough, enough. i've not seen any cases where children are dying where teachers are dying. the evidence is overwhelming prestel by this president as a candidate he would file the
8:34 pm
science, and the doctors, and the date appeared he should be saying to the seizures teachers union right now it's time to reopen fully enough is enough. of course that's not going to happen. guy: marie on this way and on the optics if you have any illegal immigrants getting in person teaching before students in san diego school systems get in person teaching. it looks awful, parents of course will be furious. suspect the white house said clearly they would also go backs 5 days away. jen psaki is said that over and over again from the podium. i am really heartened teachers are now getting vaccinated private so many friends who are teachers. and to be clear, they want to be in the classroom. this caricature of lazy teachers who just don't want to work, they don't like teaching over zoom either. there are school districts across this country that require a number of different vaccinations for children to
8:35 pm
attend prior to covid bid we will have a conversation about whether this vaccination will be required this fall but let's all celebrate this good news. teachers are getting vaccinated, is showing a lot of promise with students. and hopefully, if we can vaccinate enough people as quickly as possible as biden has really ramped up, then we can stop the spread of some of these variants and get kids back in school. that's what the white house as they once, guy. guy: katie, quick response. >> look, there have been a number of schools across the country that a been open last summer when the cdc first said it is safe for kids to be back in classrooms with teachers. we saw even then that teachers unions demanded they wanted to get in front of the vaccine line in front of the vulnerable. they demanded at that point they could not go back to school until they were vaccinated. here now you have the 12 -- 18 years old pretty not to my elementary school teachers. there will definitely be excuses but if chicago teachers unit members can fly
8:36 pm
to puerto rico for vacation posted on instagram, there is no excuse to not go back to school. the illegal immigration. [inaudible] guy: the goalposts are so far away any binoculars big katie appreciated the panel will be back after the break coming up the u.s. olympic committee, giving athletes the green light to kneel during the national anthem at the olympics. what might that signal to the rest of the world? plus i have got an idea to flip any kneeling protests upside out part i will tell you about it, the panel weighs in, and moments. a formulation they recommend can be found in salonpas. a formulation they recommend can be found in salonpas. salonpas. it's good medicine. hisamitsu.
8:40 pm
guy: the u.s. olympic and paralympic committee have released a list of approved protests for american athletes at this summer's olympic trials but including holding up a fence, wearing social justice slogans and kneeling during the u.s. national anthem. but is dissing your country the best way to represent it?
8:41 pm
of >> to the panel, katie, and joe, anne-marie. kate here's my idea because the next games are going to be upcoming in beijing and china. that is the schedule. i wonder if we could make it a thing on social media to turn kneeling of american athletes not into a protest against any injustices or what have you here at home, but actually a protest against china's treatment of the uighurs and democracy activists in hong kong but i wonder if that is what the kneeling could now represent on chinese soil? and whether american athletes a beat willing to do that on chinese soil? >> there is a genocide going on in china. i think these american athletes could use their platforms and this is a good opportunity to bring light to that genocide the chinese communist party denies is even happening. and when i think about i think this okay if you want to deal in protest of american issues you think we have here, that
8:42 pm
is fine but you get to do that without repercussions and you get to do it because you live in a free society. you do that in beijing, into that and iran you get executed for doing things like that part i brought executor wrestler after falsely accusing him of crimes and then they tortured him and murdered him. just think about the priorities here in the how good the athletes and have it and whether they should use the platform for a bigger cause than a 1 that is a minor compared to the rest of the world. guy: joe concha i am not as outraged as the anthemic kneeling stuff i would not do it i think it's disrespectful and wrong it's free expression. i am repulsed by the idea of american athletes kneeling during our anthem to protest america in beijing of all places. given what is happening in china. i wonder what you think about that added context? >> i wonder, guy come into your point early how many nba players are going to protest china. i don't really like to stand up to china all that much if
8:43 pm
you are lebron james or steve kerr. people just don't like politics in general but americans watching at home, seeing politics play out when they're supposed to have escapism that comes with watching the nfa, the nfl, or the olympics. let me share 1 pulp marist newly half of americans say these are self-described sports fans they pulled their spending less time watching live sports broadcast than in the past because of all of these political statements that go on during these sporting events. i will give you 1 comparison covid 1998 michael jordan, chicago bulls, utah jazz 37 million people tuned in when he took that shot and gained a 6 to win. last year lebron james biggest player in the l.a., load linkers at the different pandemic web without crowds only 8 million people tuned in. that's nearly 30 million viewers gone? why because been come so political but let's watch the devil's guy and have to worry about this stuff. submit go devils a season for the most part so far. different factors and some of the ratings forgot to get to

the next subject will to marie first on this important outreach after facebook removed a video because it was quote in the voice of donald trump. former president trump's a daughter-in-law and fox news contributor laura trump conducted a one-on-one interview with 45 less site and promoted honor social media. but facebook pulled the plug after she posted the video. the reason according to facebook is because the president is still in the penalty box for the generous 6 capitol riots for this comes as sources tell fox news that president trump is moving forward with plans to return to social media on his own platform. his america it ready for trump book or instant donald's, so marie, look i think some of this is way over-the-top in terms of abandoning his words completely from these platforms. this in the end that strike you as may be going too far? >> no. first i want to say the olympics have always been a place for politics but we've
8:45 pm
seen that throughout our history. but what better way to show beijing we let our athletes protest we give them freedom of expression let them show them that. when it comes to donald trump there are goals rules to these platforms you're not guaranteed a right he saw those consequences and honestly it might our country and politics are better not having on the platforms. it got to play by the rules their private companies and what they want. guy: katie to what extent are these public version of the public square customer i was never a trump guy known who follows me knows that in my work for this strikes me as creepy and authoritarian. >> it is censorship is a former president of the united states made the issue even if you say their private company they claim they are a neutral playing field. they are not an editor but clearly they are they allowed dictators and during
8:46 pm
congressional hearings we have learned people from january 6 actually organize on platforms like facebook and twittering at the president is not allowed to do an interview because his words are apparently too much for facebook to handle. it's a standard they set for themselves a dude not apply equally to everybody. >> joe on that point i can understand suspending an account or banning someone's account. banning that person's words from. anywhere seems like several steps further pretty special that person happens to be the former president of the united states of america. >> yes guy. george orwell is probably washes from somewhere saying this is after up beyond anything i would think would happen paired what kind of country are we living in here? there's going to be a boomerang effect here were suddenly, somehow donald trump has been turned into a victim and a martyr while the social media companies really look like the bad guy because they are. what was said in this
8:47 pm
interview that so bad the american people cannot hear? they cannot point to specific signals the general statement he has banned for perpetuity, it's probably a good thing. it's not a good thing more speeches always always better never less speech, guys. >> that's a thing if you have a problem with what trump is saying, the answer to objectionable speech is more speech. this is the opposite here. again it's not just about his accounts it's about his words completely so how far exactly does that go? how broadly does that apply? interesting questions maybe for the next round of congressional testimony for some of these bosses a big tech. panel appreciate you tonight feisty, i appreciate it katie, joe, marie, the topical storm is coming up next. did you know you can go to libertymutual.com to customizes your car insurance so you only pay for what you need? really? i didn't-- aah! ok. i'm on vibrate. aaah!

so many people are overweight now and asking themselves, "why can't i lose weight?" for most, the reason is insulin resistance, and they don't even know they have it. conventional starvation diets don't address insulin resistance. that's why they don't work. now there's release from golo. it naturally helps reverse insulin resistance, stops sugar cravings, and releases stubborn fat, all while controlling stress and emotional eating. at last, a diet pill that actually works. go to golo.com to get yours. guy: the nba utah jazz had to make an emergency landing after the team's charter plane reportedly smashed into a flock of birds. officials say no injuries were sustained, the birds were unavailable for comment. that is a wingnut dating and this is a topical storm. topic 1 tonight, and tulsa, oklahoma 2 horses on the loose
