the border crisis, joe biden seems to be living in an alternate universe, not the one that the rest of us are seeing. it is just stunning, liz, that he gets away with it in the press other than a few folks like you, are not calling him out on it. elizabeth: you know trump was accused of major topspin. he was called out for that, right. so trump, critics say committing topspin. we're talking about something else here. it is actively misleading. saying things like the border is quote, closed. saying things like human beings are infrastructure. to the president saying that five former fed chairs support his economic growth plans. the thing is, two fed chairs are dead, two former fed chairs are dead. i don't know what five he is talking about. there were five irs commissioners saying it is about growing the irs to bring in tax revenue. that is what biden was actually referring to. not growing the economy. it is growing the irs. >> well i think you're being a

little cynical. yes, two of those former fed chairman are dead but they voted in the last election so they're not completely dead. they're good democratic voters. so therefore we do have at least a voice from the past speaking from the grave saying that everything joe's doing is just peachy keen. elizabeth: okay. well i guess you're being funny there. that was a funny from governor huckabee. the thing too, the thing that americans are really paying attention to, we're showing joe biden using a tax code loop home obama tried to plug when he set up llcs and s-corps to shelter 13 million in income. didn't pay half a million dollars in payroll taxes. i want to talk to but the border, saying the border a challenge. showing border photos of empty facilities when they were moved next door. what do you think is the most critical one and the most damning one? >> well, in many ways i do think it is the border crisis because

we have a human crisis there with kids being trafficked. they're being exploited and used and abused. some of the injuries to these kids, they will never recover from it. i don't like the economic problems that we face but most of us will be able to, sort of figure out how to make things work but when you're talking about little bitty children, 2 and 3 yearly children are being traumatized because they have been brought across the border by human traffickers, just left to themselves, how do you ever fix that? it is a human tragedy that hurts me the most. i'm just saddened that joe biden seems oblivious to what is happening to these children down there. elizabeth: okay, governor huckabee, thanks for joining us good to see you come back soon. elizabeth: thank you, liz. great to see you. elizabeth: joining us florida congressman byron donalds. great to have you on, congressman. where do you come down on this?

let's talk about the gas shortages. critics say isolated attack on a crucial pipeline. it is bigger than that the '70s were result of the country being hostage to imported oil and carter stagflation. is there one pipeline or something bigger going on, what do you think? >> oh it is a lot bigger than just the colonial pipeline. the keystone pipeline being shut down on day one. dakota pipeline being shut down. this administration not renewing any leases on federal land. this is designed to shrink oil production in the united states so joe biden can go down the progressive line of the green new deal and pursuing renewable energies frankly not ready for prime time to power everything that the united states needs. it is not an isolated incident. this is him pushing his radical agenda on the american people, despite the fact that it will increase prices, despite the fact it will hurt the actual poor and middle income people of our country because the price of their goods will go up as a

result. elizabeth: yeah. that is a tax, that is a hidden tax over gas price hikes. that is tax as well. kevin mccarthy saying biden went down to georgia and brought back carter's policies. the white house though, they're shutting downpipe lines and despite surging inflation they're not going to back away from trillions of dollars in new spending. the president did pitch his 2.25 trillion american jobs plan. critics saying not enough about cybersecurity of pipelines or cybercrime. is that true? >> there isn't. i think they need to be doing more but i've said this before, when it comes to private companies investing more in their own cybersecurity, what joe biden needs to understand you then can't also try to raise their taxes and increase regulations. all that is going to do is squeeze dollars available to them to take care of security matters. so i think he is half right, seems that ways often, half right about something, yeah they need to invest more in their cybersecurity. as a country we have the

responsibility to step up as well. you can't squeeze the enterprises, get money out of them, send it here to d.c. or squeeze their operations through regulations if you want them to take care of their security needs. it doesn't make any sense. elizabeth: yeah. 85% of u.s. energy installations is in the private sector. they're doing things like nat-gas for utilities which power electric cars. it seems, you know, upside down and backwards what is going on down there, the biden team painting pipelines as evil when john kerry just said they are less, more, rather more carbon efficient than trucks and trains. final word on that? >> this administration is not following reasons or economics, following karl marx, fdr, and lbj, they are people that are dead. this president needs to get into the 21st century. he needs to come to reality when it comes to economics and energy

we're there now. the vast majority of the country is there we also said less than 30,000 daily cases we're there also. dr. fauci, said 20,000, 10,000. he listen to his language you hear the word considerable, we might possibly do something if there is considerable change that general language is not helpful for a public trying to plan, businesses are trying to plan, i don't know who to blame, him or cnn and "face the nation" and all these programs that put him on non-stop. he is one doctor, doesn't basically answer any questions directly. elizabeth: doctor, to you point critics are saying they put dr. fauci up on a pedestal. if you try to ask dr. fauci questions, he would dodge and not answer, if you press him on it, people like cnn's anderson cooper saying that is disrespectful. that is called journalism. rochelle wollensky defended her

own 180 on the sunday talk shays. she claimed science evolved in two weeks time. what were the sudden break throughs in two weeks we don't know about? >> you know, our public health officials need to be held accountable and journalists are supposed to do that. when dr. fauci goes on for an interview he should be asked specifically what congressman jordan asked him, that is, what are the criteria specifically? what are the numbers? what percent of the public does he estimate to have natural immunity? they have been blowing off natural immunity. let me tell you what is really happening behind the scenes, liz. these doctors are polite to each others. they don't want to offend government agencies that work on in this space, they don't want to piss off the white house. they put out things inconsistent that keeps everybody happy. they know kids should not wear masks outdoors of summer camps. these are smart doctors. they know that. they are afraid of speaking their mind because they don't want to up is the people. elizabeth: about power, grant money. overseeing reserve. about who can pull the purse

strings. about who can make the decisions, right? so these players have been in place for years now, including dr. fauci. he was heavily criticized during the aids crisis basically being, speaking not in clear ways to those who were affected by the aids crisis. you know, doctor, listen to the cdc director rochelle wollensky change her tune from earlier this spring to late last week. watch this. >> i will reflect on the current feeling i have of impending doom. over the last several weeks we have seen emerging science, a growing body of evidence that if you're vaccinated you're safe and protected. elizabeth: okay. so we go from impending doom to, it is okay if you're vaccinated. the thing is americans months ago had the common sense to know what works for them in their businesses but when you watch the administration, you watch dr. fauci, you watch pundits on cnn or msnbc, they made it like

americans were literally killing each other when they walked by people outside. when "the new york times" reported that researchers cannot find no case of virus being spread by people walking past each other outdoors. what is that about? >> it was clear the announcement on friday was rushed. they didn't plan the country. they didn't say they would make announcement like any other announcement. political analysts can see whether or not it is a distraction. it is clear cases were plummeting faster than anticipated and ignored natural immunity. the public was getting angry. it contradicted the very message the cdc said about vaccines. that message on friday was three months late. we should let vaccinated people go without masks three months ago. so-called evolution of science in the last two weeks, the idea they made this announcement based on emerging science, give me a break, these studies came out in february and march from

never ended but an teach that is not even mentioned in this document. this is another effort by the biden administration to politicize security issues to gain political advantage. elizabeth: so they don't mention the two billion dollars in damage, including minority neighborhoods and minority businesses from the riots and protests starting in the spring of last year through this year? two billion dollars estimated according to the insurance industry. nothing about that. nothing about 30 people estimated dead in the riots. there is no mention of that. why the white wash of that? >> it pretends there will be continuation of the 1/6 attacks on the capital we know protests continue in portland. it said criminals could exploit court protected freedom of speech actions linked to racial justice and police use of force concerns. i'm sorry, but looting, looting cities and burning them is not a

court-protected freedom of speech exercise. it reminds me of mostly peaceful nonsense we heard from the mainstream media last summer. the biden administration does not want to call out antifa and black his matter. they want to focus on right-wing extremists. there is no evidence they will do anything. elizabeth: let's stay on foreign, foreign terror threats. the authorities are citing traffic and chatter on social media and online forums warning foreign terrorists may attack as covid restrictions and lockdowns ease up. what does that mean? they're saying they're not seeing any specific threat. can you break this down? again, how is it linked to lockdowns easing up and foreign terrorists coming in. >> i don't think it is linked to the lockdowns looksenned up. i think foreign terrorists are penetrating our southern border. there is already evidence of that. jen psaki was asked about that. she said this type of thing is uncommon.

that means foreign terrorists are penetrating the southern border. none of them should be. this is always a threat. we know the terrorist groups are looking for opportunities to attack in the united states. they may have more opportunities because it is easier to sneak into this country. elizabeth: you know what? you know whenever you hear white house press secretary saying terror attacks are uncommon and rare, so was 9/11. 9/11 was uncommon and rare. let's put that into context. police are ramping up their presence in new york city, dallas and chicago. they're ramping up patrols, fred. the final word, front line of cops are guys who often capture the really bad guys including terrorists, right? we know shootings and homicides are up a third about it last quarter of 2020. so can you talk to us final word on defunding the police and how when you weaken the police they can't catch the bad guys that attack minority and immigrant communities and they can't catch

subpoenas are involved, because it means that the women who are involved are testifying under penalty of law. if they testify say something that is incorrect they can be held accountable for misrepresenting details. so the stakes have risen dramatically in these allegations against andrew cuomo. the women are not only testifying under subpoena but providing documents, extensive documents we're told by "the new york times" including text messages, emails and photographs. i think this scandal has dialed itself up to a new level now for andrew cuomo. elizabeth: also the information that they're handing over, you cite texts and emails they date back to early as 2013. this seems to be you know, they're making the case about abuse of power, right? so that is what it seems like. they're also, you know, the thing i want to talk to you about though, cuomo is getting more strident. he is making statements like he

did last week if i make you uncomfortable that doesn't mean i'm sexually harassing you. that is what he is saying. a law he signed two years ago, saying that sexual harassment is making people feel uncomfortable, unwanted advances or sexually explicit remarks. what is up with andrew cuomo ramping up his own denials? >> he could be taken down by the very one you cited, that he signed into law. tell you as chief executive of the state that the law as written is not what sexual harassment is, that is typical andrew cuomo. he thinks at this point he can power his way through it. if he insists these are all lies and he is the only good guy as he often does, all the scandals he gets through, he thinks he can survive this thing. how many democrats have called for him to resign? even the top senators in that

state, chuck schumer, kirsten gillibrand called him to resign. he is still in the job right now. this is the fight of his life, things are only getting more difficult for him as he ties to navigate this maze. elizabeth: we got the new york state assembly still investigating the coverup of nursing home deaths tied to his executive order putting patients back in and accusations that cuomo used state workers to write and edit his pandemic memoir. we have reports coming in he made five million dollars off of that. let's come back to the abuse of power. let's come back to something you said before. say he signs this law into effect in 2019 and then goes ahead and sexually harasses these women. if those allegations are proven true you're saying he could be tripped up by his own law that he signed into effect? >> welcome completely, especially because the wording of that law says yes, it is really about how the women interpret his actions.
