don't know who we're going to vote for. republicans are they the ones who are more motivated to vote right now inside of california? what do you think? >> 100%. all the polls show including our internal polls at rescuecalifornia.org show republicans at around 80 to 84% with democrats down around 30%. the reason for that, as he wrote about fox news, they don't personally like gavin newsom. never has done anything. doesn't visit state voters and care for them but beyond that they live in areas that are ravaged by homelessness and ravaged by crime and news some is doing very well to nothing about it. so they're fed up. these issues across the state, lack of water, fires, crime, gas prices, all these things are hurting working class democrats and they don't like gavin newsom and that's why he is in so much trouble. elizabeth: well it is striking that the swing voters of the undecided democrats say they may not even go out to vote.

that is what is really striking. usually the democrats are fired up in california. to your point what you're saying is now, what we're seeing is top democrats in the party, nancy pelosi, white house, now, very worried that gavin newsom could lose. it would be the second governor, democrat governor who is pushed out following andrew cuomo. we don't know what is going to happen yet but this is what is happening. you know when you talk about the wildfire, the biggest in california history, year after year we keep hearing historic, gigantic fires, the biggest in history, we keep saying that year after year. they keep getting bigger. what is going on with forest mismanagement in california and the way california saves water? it doesn't save water for non-rainy day, that is what you talk about. can you talk to us quickly about that? >> sure. this is 20 years in the making. they haven't managed the forests. it is overgrown across much of the state, mostly in the north. because it is built up so much, they're so far behind and newsom
