much adjusted for inflation inasmuch going back decades with real wages declining people are staying out of the labor force and employers are going to have to jack up wages to get people to come out and workdm small business administration or nfib found 91%% cannot hire people because that's they cannot find candidates. they will have to jack up wages paid when wages go up the firms will have to raise their prices or they will go out of business. it's a wagee price spiral just like we saw in the 70s. the idea that this is in temporary is economically indefensible. jackie: it all be up to them to decide to expand some of these benefits if they feel that people need the help, how likely do you think that the states would exercise the option and the third leg of that question would be what does that do to the labor problem that were talking about. >> what's going to happen you're gonna see two different worlds a blue world and a red world and

guide america the economy will be booming and unemployment rate will head back to where it was before covid started and in blue america they will pay people not to work and taxing the rest of us americans all around the country to finance failed states. it's likely there will be cases that continue rich subsidies for people not to work but those places will be places that have bad economies and don't have the tax revenue that they expected and so on so as bad as the bailouts have been this year but if these policies continue there will be more of that or more demand next year. jackie: a final question about the psychological shift that we see in thehe workforce as well. so many people working remotely and doing it longer if we had urge people to go back to work at a certain point and deal with the virus when we have the vaccine. maybe we will be in a different vote but this is gone on and people don't want to work the way they they used to and they don't want to go back for the wages that they used to receive. >> that is really been the
