elizabeth: welcome back to the show former nypd lieutenant darren porcher. lieutenant, this bail fund backed and supported by then candidate kamala harris, it reportedly helped bailout an alleged domestic abuser. he is now charged with second-degree murder. now the vice president had nothing to do with the bail fund now. this is minnesota freedom fund. she did tout it as helping to bail out protesters and rioters. this took a turn for the worse.
6:47 pm
what do you say? >> i think this is a catastrophic failure. vice president kamala harris is the poster child of the radical left. when we look at that agenda it is putting criminals ahead of law-abiding citizens. this is an example of why california governor gavin newsom is losing his shirt in the wake of the recall election in california. radical left is driving this narrative. no in way, shape or form should we have a fund to bail out people for committing crimes in society. this is a classic reflection of the failures in government in places like california as well as minnesota. elizabeth: so, lieutenant, it just feels like it went south on the vice president when she was candidate to tout this fund. again it is the minnesota freedom fund. she tweeted it out, says here is a link you can use to donate to this minnesota freedom fund but local media inside of minnesota is reporting that this bailout fund has been used to bailout

rapists, kidnappers and murderers. can the vice president, or any candidate see that ahead of time, that this may go bad on them? >> absolutely. remember the vice president was the attorney general for california. so she better than anyone else knows and understands the potential or the propensity of people bailing out to come back into the society to reoffend. therefore from a practitioner based model she should have known better. unfortunately the hours escaped. they're trying to close the gate but it is too late. we have the reoffenders back out in society t was a windfall for that bailout fund to have then candidate kamala harris support it. they raised millions of dollars, lieutenant, just on the order of hundreds of thousands or so was used to bail out protesters and rioters. so your reaction to that?

we're not going to do anything to stop you from coming across our southern border. and it's, quite frankly, become more dangerous to be an ally of the united states than our adversary. it's very, very sad, and think about this, liz. if one terrorist comes across our border, people on the terror watch list, just one, think about how much damage they can do to this country. elizabeth: the positioning should be that the jihadis play the long game. we shouldn't be about short political sound bites for the efficacy of winning back your seat in washington d.c. let's move on to this separate story. a new york times story indicates and shows, it's reporting, "the new york times" is saying, that even white house democrats found biden's border policies were so disastrous that white house officials are secretly relieved and happy that the supreme court ordered them to reinstate trump's remain in mexico policies. the border crossings have hit

historic highs. your take on even white house officials happy about that, about the reinstating remain in mexico. >> it shows the intellectual dishonesty of the biden administration. you know, leadership, there's an old saying, is all about what you do in a time of crisis. and what the biden administration has done and allies in the congress like chuck schumer and cartel kelly, they have advocated control of our southern border to the cartels. i'm guessing there are some people in the administration that are afraid to make tough decisions that know, they're seeing the intelligence, the data, they know objectively, it's a fact, hardened criminals, dangerous people, people convicted of violent crimes and people on the terror watch list have been apprehended. a record amount of fentanyl's coming into this country. this is going to be a disaster not just here in arizona, not along the southern border, but all over the united states. i think they know that. if anybody looks at it objectively, they know the biden

administration is making this a more dangerous place. and i think they're relieved the supreme court bailed them out. but at the end of the day, it just e epitomizes why so many people are frustrated with congress. they care more about their political futures than protecting america. elizabeth: so what you're just saying is we have even now democrats breaking away from the white house and demanding that the administration do more to secure border. watch the laredo, texas, mayor, a democrat, demanding a smart wall. watch another texas democrat lawmaker say biden is ruining the border. watch this. >> my understanding that the president would grant with a virtual wall or a smart wall containment, but with we haven't seen those elements, and it's just getting worse. we want the border to exist. >> i only pray that the nation
