secretary blinken lied, he lied because he said there were two options. one we were either going to send in hundreds of thousands of american forces to be there for years, or, we had to get out the way we did. he says there is no middle ground, either all-out war or all out leave. there were dozens of options in between. i've seen them. people have written about them. what did he do? he lied. he said that we had to get out and this was the only way we could do it. they also lied about other things. he lied leaving americans behind. you left americans behind. the allies said we did a great job. no they don't. in the written parliament they introduced a motion to censor the american president. the lies are mounting up. what is so upsetting, liz, the democrats on capitol hill, they are like parrots, they repeat what he says. the media, well they're like parrots too because they all let him get away with it, lies. elizabeth: kt "the new york times" reporting

the taliban has no interest in getting us leaving out they want to string it out, make it as difficult as they can, the adversaries are pointing to this, the absolute example of america's inevitable and irreversible decline. elizabeth: republicans hammered the secretary of state, calling him out for the administration falsehoods. that the allies were perfectly happy with a rushed chaotic exit stranding citizens when the president promised no americans were left behind. the democrats was saying this is 20 years in the making. that the trump doha exit plan was flawed. what do you say to that? the u.n. security council unanimously approved trump's doha exit plan. what do you say? >> they didn't follow trump's exit plan. the trump administration had a plan. they wanted it to brief the incoming secretary of defense and his staff. the incoming secretary of defense and his staff refused to sit down. when they took office they ripped up the trump plan.

watching the change in california. we started ballot harvesting ourselves last cycle. while we would love to change the law, as long as it is the rules here in california we have to play at their same game. we knew that we were doing the right thing in the last cycle when the secretary of state and the attorney general tried to sue us to stop collecting ballots the way that we were collecting ballots at conservative businesses and churches. we're playing and beating them at their game. elizabeth: we hear you on that. so there is that issue, meaning you're taking your campaign workers are taking the ballots, physically as the democrats are on behalf of voters and delivering them, right? so that is what the issue is. the democrats are saying this is larger field operation. they have got something like, looks like 20,000 staffers and volunteers. they're targeting 10 million voters? what are you guys doing to stand

up against that? >> it is been phenomenal to watch the growth and the energy and the excitement. it is not just republicans. it is californians of all political stripes. we finished off the election cycle in 2020 with 42,000 volunteers. we're now up to 72,000 vol tears. this is 72% increase in what would normally be considered and off year. people are fired up and they're ready for change here in california. we had 50 million voter contacts last cycle. we have 18 million for the recall alone. elizabeth: got it. talk about the voting irregularities, because local tv are talking about them. voters are getting more than one mail-in ballot sent home and voters at multiple voting stations are told someone already voted for them. california there is history here. we have a woodlands hills election official, 70% of the votes at this precinct already shown as being cast when they were not. you know this, jessica.

that there has been a history here in california of voter fraud, right? so let's go through it. we had a guy arrested with 300 mail-in ballots stolen in his car, reportedly drugs and also had a gun. in the city of compton, half a dozen democrats were involved in , a thing, forging of mail-in ballots, right? and they got in trouble for that. how worried are you about voter fraud with mail-in ballots right now? >> we worked incredibly hard on the front end to make sure that people feel secure in the integrity of election this isn't something we started after 2020. this is something we started before the 2020 election cycle. we focused on the four congressional seats we were targeting. we won all four of those congressional seats. we made sure we had staff, volunteers and lawyers on the ground. we have only built upon that success. we have, we have lawyers

elizabeth: let's welcome to the show gop strategist ford o'connell. ford, okay, there is a trend happening. we're trend spotting here with you. protests against biden vaccine mandate in new york city from teachers and school workers? they were heard chanting against biden walking across the brooklyn bridge, my body, my shot. college footballs fans saying blank biden in texas, virginia, washington, north carolina. protests against biden popping up across the country, ford, what is happening here? this is a new trend, teachers doing it? >> look on several occasions dating back to december 2020, president joe biden said he would never implement a national vaccine mandate. lo and behold he has done it. you can understand and sympathize with the teachers in new york city. they're irate, they're saying hey, i either take the vaccine or i cannot provide for my

to demand the origins be fully and thoroughly investigated to determine it came from the wuhan lab. then he re-enters the paris accord which gives china and india a upper hand, doesn't require them to be on a level playing field as america. and you know, now they have been watching everything that happened in afghanistan, this hasty, disasterous withdrawal. i'm sure thinking about taking steps with regards to hong kong and taiwan. that is their priority right now. unfortunately the president put them in a position where they have have a position of strength. elizabeth: reports came in that china wanted to use the bagram airbase that republicans are saying to the secretary of state and the white house, this is epic historical failure thaw abandoned bagram airbase. it could have protected americans and u.s. allies trying to flee but you gave it up. china may use bagram airbase as

a hub for its belt and road initiative. china denies that. china is moving into afghanistan. so is china and russia. reaction to all of that news? >> china is moving in everywhere. that is really what the problem is. even very close to our homeland here, 90 miles away in cuba. you see what they're doing in south america. afghanistan is the latest thing. that is the thing when secretary blinken says they have leverage against the taliban i don't know what leverage he is talking about quite frankly because if it is monetary leverage, china will fill in the void and so, this is something that should be very much concerning and this is paul of president biden's doing. elizabeth: congresswoman, you grilled the secretary of state. we had representative michael mccaul of your committee, house foreign affairs, he is the ranking republican, he brought up this issue, he asked secretary of state antony blinken whether russia's leader vladmir putin threatened president biden. blinken didn't answer the question. watch this. >> and my last question is is, is it true that president putin

threatened the president of the united states saying he could not build intelligence capabilities in the region? >> this is an important question and one that in its detail and substance i think we need to take up in another setting. elizabeth: okay. when you see him not answering, congresswoman, does that tell you that happened? >> well, some of it is classified and he can't say it publicly and other he may not even know. yesterday myself i asked the secretary about terrorism and what kind of counterterrorism measures are they going to be taking now that we have nobody on the ground? asked straight out about the likelihood of al qaeda reemerging, also what the taliban has told them about isis-k. he literally stood there at this hearing and said that the taliban said that they are not going to allow afghanistan to be a base for terrorism but the taliban is terrorist

organization itself as is isis-k. as is the haqqani network and haqqani as you know serving in the cabinet of this taliban government. so the reality is is that we have a lot of questions than we received answers to yesterday. then today you saw what happened with the cia and the dia both saying indeed al-qaeda can emerge and do something to the united states of america and our homeland within one to two years. so did the secretary not know this, or was he lying straight out at the hearing to me yesterday? elizabeth: that is an important point you just made, the cia, there are intelligence officials warning that al qaeda could attack the u.s. within a year or two years time. let's, let's move to this. that is serious stuff. so we want to stay on that story with you in light of this. representative ronny jackson saying to antony blinken, you were vacationing in the hamptons. the white house was on vacation when kabul fell and american
