the breaking point. joining us tonight, former acting ice director tom homan, liz peek, dr. marc siegel, south carolina congresswoman nancy mace, byron york, sean duffy and art del cueto. border officials warn the white house is not moving fast enough to clear out a makeshift camp. one estimate says 15,000 illegals are over running checkpoints and local border neighborhoods. the more they clear it out, more illegals come in. that is the word on the ground. the administration was warned about this problem back in june. you will hear more about border neighborhoods that blame biden for swamping them in chaos. one border mayor asks where is the vice president? she is in charge of the border. why was she at a football game this weekend? drug and human traffickers are on the move ready to make money. plus the biden agenda on the ropes. democrats cannot ram through their amnesty and their massive 3 1/2 trillion dollar reconciliation package.

we begin with the dow, s&p and nasdaq plunging on growth and china fears. s&p 500 and nasdaq see the steepest losses in more than four months. china evergrande debt contagion fears slamming stocks. president biden will address the u.n. general assembly tomorrow overshadowed by a lot of problems, many which critics say are of his own making. connell mcshane is live outside of the united nations with more. connell. reporter: liz, the president is here in new york at this hour. as a matter of fact the motorcade, the presidential limousine drove by our location on first avenue in new york city outside the united nations five to seven minutes ago. he has a meeting coming up with the u.n. secretary-general, antone -- antonio gutierrez. his first address before this body since taking office. when it comes to foreign policy, the situation in afghanistan is front and center. president arriving at kennedy

airport a short time ago. the administration will focus on afghanistan only on the context of closing the chapter on 20 years of war and opening up a new chapter as this official put it of intensive diplomacy, intensive diplomacy. the president's approval rating has been falling from a high of 56% in june, down to 350% in the fox poll just released. the administration talked about opening up the new chapter, expect a lot of focus on climate change a lot on climate. a lot of topics will come up. there will be talk of covid, rules of the road on trade, invests in clean infrastructure will be part of the speech tomorrow. the central theme if there is one according to administration to stress the problems they say cannot be solved, liz by military force alone. the president speaking tomorrow. back to you. brian: elizabeth: connell mcshane, thank you very much. we have former i.c.e. acting director tom homan, liz peek.

the president went on a bicycle ride at beach. refused to answer questions. the vice president went to a football game to toss a coin. head of homeland security going down to the border saying there is disinformation, saying it is under control. what you say? >> he said it was a closed border, liz, what is he talking about? i think these are not serious people. they're not willing to address concerns about americans. climate change, focus tomorrow on u.n., that ranks 8th among concerns americans have. everything else is being basically ignored by this president, whether inflation, open borders. this is absolutely horrifying. by the way, all of these problems, all of them stem from policies biden has adopted mainly to take a slap at trump. he is so giddy with the idea he is not president trump he is making all these really terrible decisions which are definitely

hurting our country. i think it is offensive he walks by reporters and citizens and refuses to take their questions. who is he not to answer for the things that are going on? it is really astonishing. elizabeth: we have one estimate says 15,000, illegals, tom, were overrunning checkpoints. we have the news coming in that the white house was warned about this illegal migrant camp back in june and that the more that they tried to clear it out the more people come pouring in. what do you say? >> i say the secretary of homeland security lied to the american people today along with the chief of the border patrol. they're saying, they come out and said the border is secure. i talked to the men and women of command of border patrol. i won't give you their names because they lose their jobs. they told me they have lost operational control of the border. they used the term broken arrow. we know what that means. they lost operational control of

border. secretary stood up there said they're deport haitians. wrong. they're deporting 25% of the haitians. 75% are released in the united states from a country with less than 1% having vaccination rates. this is really important, liz, another border patrol command told me last night there are currently 224 miles of border in texas where there is not a single border patrol agent on patrol, 224 miles of open border where the criminal cartels will have a field day. elizabeth: let's stay on that, liz. see what tom homan just said. we have been reporting this, liz, you've been talking about this too. it is not compassionate to have a open border. people think it is but it is not. you have human and drug traffickers pouring in. you have people being abused on the way to the border. it is dangerous. they get killed. they get injured. your word on this. >> no, it is terrible, little children are abandoned along the way, liz. it is also not great for

americans. a lot of low income americans will be competing with these people for jobs. by the way we've seen hispanic approval of biden plummet. why? because where do these people go when they're released into the united states, where they are taken on buses to other cities and states? they go to the hispanic community, often times to create problems for those communities. so this is, this is not good for americans. it is not good for these people. it is an outrage and we are better than this, liz. we should control our borders. no country should have open borders. elizabeth: fox news's peter doocy asked about vaccine mandates for people who fly into the country when thousands are able to just stream across the border with no vaccine check. let's take a listen to this, tom. watch this. >> is somebody asking the foreign nationals walking into del rio, texas and setting up camps on this side of the border for proof of vaccination or a negative covid test? >> well, first of all i, i can

readdress for you or retalk you through what steps -- >> that is the policy for people who fly into the country. so if somebody walks into the country, right across the river, does somebody ask them to see their vaccination card? >> well, let me explain to you again, peter, how our process works. as individuals -- as individuals come across the border, and they are both assessed for whether they have any symptoms. if they have symptoms they are, intention is for them to be quarantined. that is our process. elizabeth: tom what do you say to this? >> i will say she is either misinformed or just lying. i can tell her there are 700,000 family unit that enter this country illegally ordered deported, they have not left. they're fugitives. 700,000. so their intention is to stay. they're never going to leave. what is your penalty ignoring a judge's order under the biden plan? they will get amnesty. for say to her people will not

what do people need to know? what do you say? >> i think the booster shots are confusing because the doctor in chief got up there and started pontificating on everybody getting them. we have to start with the science. the science out of israel shows the biontech pfizer vaccine wears off after four months. after six months, it decrease, it actually doesn't protect you as well even severe illness but also mild illness. that is israel. the united kingdom data showed the same thing. here in the united states there is definitely some indication that it wears off against severe illness after several months but the biggest argument right now is for those over 60. we don't know why the fda advisory committee said 65. that is arbitrary, liz. it should have been 60. we need to do what israel and uk have done. start giving boosters to everybody 60 and over and again it is because the pfizer biontech vaccine really apparently shows decreased coverage after the first five,

six months. that's clear. we don't only have to rely on our own data. we have to watch the rest of the world too. elizabeth: we hear you. moderna's vaccine works well and also boosters. dr. fauci as you point out in a bit after spin mode. the president pushed booster shots before the data came in. he campaigned saying i won't do that. the fda panel rejected as you pointed out boosters for most people, people under age 65. talk about dr. fauci accused of being confusing. he is saying now, i don't think biden was premature when he made this mistake about announcing boosters before the fda signed off on them. but dr. fauci was talking otherwise saying that you have to wait for the data. watch dr. fauci here. >> jake, i don't think so. the president was very clear as was the medical group when we said we are planning to do this and it was always said, in his official statement, in the

official written statement from all of us including the fda and the cdc. you know always a theoretical risk because the studies have not been done to look at the safety and the immune necessarity of doing that right now doing that for everyone. >> on wednesday you said in interview quote, if they say we don't think there is enough data to do a booster so be it. i think that would be a mistake to be honest with you. on wednesday you said it would be mistake. so but now you're saying you don't think it was a mistake? >> no. i mean i, you know, what i was saying a mistake, my own personal looking at this, again just because i look at data i would do it this way, that is reason we have qualified groups of people who together as a committee examine all the data and make a decision. elizabeth: you know what i mean? i mean it is my own personal

opinion. theoretical risks. no. there is risks out there. you know, it is hard to keep up with him, doctor. >> let me be really clear on this. by the way when i said doctor in chief, i wasn't referring to dr. fauci, i was referring to president biden who is acting like a doctor when he comes out making these statements. i think dr. fauci is wrong here. i have a lot of respect for him. i know him well. here is what he is wrong about. the fda has an advisory committee that actually pours over the data. they come up with a decision and then they advise the fda and then the fda decides what to do. we don't need politics mixed in with this. too often we've seen the administration get in front of their scientists. that is why those two fda senior scientists have resigned as a result. dr. fauci is wrong about that. elizabeth: fda official dr. paul off gets, many ways the fda and cdc marginalized on by the biden political push on booster but

let the process play out. the nih director is out with a stunning claim. he said boosters will probably be approved for those under 65. this is the statement that raised eyebrows. if you want authoritative statements on vaccines, americans if you're confused by us, you will get h move to china. you get more authoritative statement. >> look at the data, have experts consider it, make the best judgment, recognizing that the judgments may change. if people want absolutely authoritative statement about here is the right answer that is not what our country is all about. move to china. you will get it there. elizabeth: i guess we should look to foreign studies, doctor. it is really confusing. >> he was joking about that hopefully. he is saying that with china, china you get some kind of something out of the chinese communist party, not even a scientist. you mentioned the right name, dr. paul off get who i interviewed several times is a smart scientist.

trey yingst is on the ground in kabul with more details. trey? reporter: the baby was born the same week the taliban took control of afghanistan. his grandmother cradles him feet from where he was born at a park in central kabul. just 30 days old he has never been to his family's hometown. >> we want to be safe. we want our children to be educated and go to studies. the situation should be better, not like right now. reporter: here in the center part of kabul there are thousands of internally dispoliced afghans. you see the little children. they made their way to the capital from the city of kunduz following the taliban takeover. unclear what happens to them. they desperately need aid from the international community. there is simply nothing coming into the country. >> we having no to eat. we have nothing. we need someone to supply us with supplies for winter. reporter: you hear the

desperation of the mothers. their children are starving. they have nothing to give them. they have never lived in a country without war. they look tired but they are playful and silly. they are the projects generation of afghans. like the place they call home their future remains uncertain. >> translator: we're very poor people. we have nothing to eat. we need help. we're very unhappy with america. reporter: the united states and the world must find a way to engage with the taliban if only pour civilian aid. it's a democrat position, countries don't want to fund the taliban but without the money civilians will starve. liz? elizabeth: trey yingst thank you very much. we have house veterans affairs members, congresswoman nancy mace. let's move on to general milley, joint chiefs of staff, he testifies next week. more than just a phone call with china about trump. it's a drone strike that killed 10 including seven children in afghanistan, hundreds of american citizens abandoned. what would you ask the general

if he were to do this testimony? >> to bring us a transcript of his phone call with china. that is the number one issue i believe that i want to hear about on tuesday when he testifies before the senate armed services committee. i'm very much looking forward to what his answers are. the last time i saw general milley was in a briefing bipartisan briefing with members of both sides of the aisle with the house. i walked out of the briefing because he and other members of biden's cabinet would not answer our questions in a classified briefing. it will be interesting to hear what he says next week. elizabeth: general mark milley called the strike against isis a right schuss strike. house intelligence ranking member devin nunez says decision subpoenas are needed on the decision tree for this strike. when american forces were pulling out of, congresswoman,

general milley said they would share classified information with the taliban. tucker carlson has reporting on this too. watch general milley. >> fox coordination against isis-k? >> it is possible. elizabeth: then he said this, watch. >> but at this point we think the procedures were correctly followed and it was a righteous strike. elizabeth: so the drone strike was a righteous strike, despite the taliban information sharing. >> well the strike should be investigated. there should be subpoenas and foias, whatever it takes to get the information. general milley has been too busy botching drone strikes, botching the exit from afghanistan and politicizing the military to protect the homeland. one of the other issues we heard general milley notified pentagon top brass with his approval, his approval only would they be allowed to follow through, follow the president's orders, going outside of the chain of command. sewing distrust with our

civilian commanders of our military. i don't know what this guy thinks he is doing. he is not the one in charge. he serves the country and president of the united states. i'm very much looking forward to senate hearings and i hope our republicans and democrats alike answer questions, have tough questions he would be required to answer. elizabeth: they said multiple suicide bombers were inside of that vehicle in afghanistan and that there were significant, explosives in the vehicle that led to second dearie explosions. that the bombers belonged to isis. there was no proof of secondary explosions. pentagon spokesperson john kirby kept talking about that if they were real. we didn't see any proof of that. your final word? >> we also got no answers from secretary blinken at all. he didn't have the information when senator rand paul questioned him last weekend at a different hearing. i've seen it over and over again publicly, classified briefings, members of the president biden's cabinet refused to answer questions. i hope this will be a real opportunity to ask questions

you and i have been talking about this story for years. this debate though, should hillary clinton and her 2016 campaign officials be put before a grand jury before cooking up the fake russian collusion story? jake sullivan was a senior policy advisor to hillary clinton back then what do you think? jonathan turley said this is what nixon did, committee to reelect the president, a dirty bag of tricks? >> well there is no doubt that the answer is yes they should answer questions in connection with this michael sussman with this indictment. basically what you have here in the sussman indictment, is that the clinton campaign's lawyer polishing up an allegation that was untrue, that the trump campaign was colluding with russia in some way that the trump, trump campaign was connected to this bank, alfa bank and there were computer records of all sorts of contacts

between the campaign and this russian bank. so you have the campaign lawyer pushing these allegations, collecting them, polishing them up in a white paper, giving it to the fbi and the fbi's role is critical here. because the fbi then essentially gave these charges some credibility when a reporter learned, not that some campaign aide was pushing some story but that the fbi was investigating this. elizabeth: yes. >> so this whole thing was going on with the knowledge of the clinton campaign. they knew that sussman was doing this sort of stuff. they knew he was billing them for everything he did. elizabeth: right. >> so of course investigators should try to find out what they knew. elizabeth: potentially used public campaign donations to cook up this false evidence, that donald trump is bought and paid for by russia. they paid for the anti-trump steele dossier. the democrats did.

they paid lawyer michael sussman who did data mining with the university that got federal reserve grants to cook up the trump russia links with the russian bank. the fbi said this was about trump hotel marketing emails. the alfa bank allegation fell apart even before sussman delivered it to the fbi and mueller didn't touch it. that is the other thing. but when you dig deep into the indictment, byron, university researchers themselves said this is bogus, they were told to make up the narrative to even if they didn't have proof. come up with a useful narrative, only thing they had to go on was anti-trump sentiment to go after trump. that is what the indictment says. your word? >> it does, as a matter of fact it says look we don't have any evidence. it all falls apart. what are we going to do when people start asking us questions? being anti-trump isn't quite enough here. it would be nice if we had some evidence here. but this is what michael sussman

was allegedly pushing. he managed to get a meeting with a top official, the general counsel of the fbi to push this. shortly thereafter the fbi opens an investigation into this, general counsel james baker talked to the assistant director of the fbi said, listen, this guy sussman is not working for any client. they knew he was a lawyer for the dnc. not like michael sussman was a complete stranger from another world but they said that he was not working for a client when in fact he was working for clinton campaign and actually billed the meeting with baker to the campaign. elizabeth: that's right. the university researchers saying we'll do a stretch here. we'll have to stretch this. we'll expose every trick in our bag to make a very weak connection between trump and alfa bank. now msnbc anchors went with this. cnn anchors went with this. cnn dialed it back. the thing is that the, hillary clinton made like this was an independent probe, right, when
