went off before letting me explain. kennedy: so you've gone through the process of getting your wife the visa sure she could join you because you don't want to leave her in afghanistan to tell you to shelter in place but how long before you run out of food and money? >> this time, i'm talking to basically my entire family in kabul, we only have less than $50 and the family at this time. and i'm going behind them because i'm not there to take care of everything. and it's all that we are in small tiny apartment.

we were hoping to get out but anytime i call the department and they say it's not happening. kennedy: you are telling anyone who can get hold of that you need help, you are an american citizen, you need to be rescued. so what is your plan now? >> going back on that a little bit, i have my citizenship, it wasn't something given to me as a lottery ticket or something like that. for my wife, in the immigration process, i even bought her health insurance way before just to show here i can support her,

i'm doing everything so since last year, she'd been waiting for money their qualified, and it was half. the other half with this in the u.s. military in afghanistan. what's frustrating, everybody crossing the border and me trying to do the right thing in afghanistan. kennedy: yes and now -- >> just hoping. kennedy: now you are a target, you and your wife, you are a target. we want you to stay safe and please keep us posted on what happens with your journey and if you need more help, please reach

for what he did and continues to do but it's that they are frustrated just as much as we are on monday the equipment aircraft of about 2150 people out of kabul, 44 american citizens, a hodgepodge of other people including some the taliban just wanted to have go on business trips and the like. that is the business as usual, he's been waiting. we've been told is on the list but then we repeatedly are told we are letting it. there's nothing to that on an american with strong ties, a business in the san diego area, this is a real american simply made the mistake of believing the state department wouldn't abandon in the middle of the night and the one thing you have

to remember is the state department kept a promise, they've got every american member of the state department out, they for every soldier out and knowingly left people who has their addresses and documents and left them behind to get an artificial bait that president biden set without a proper plan. it's that simple. kennedy: for state department is blaming the pentagon and the pentagon is blaming the state department and president flunk them all under the best and the only people who seem to be doing anything are a select few members of congress and former veterans also putting themselves in harm ways and flying over there trying create systems and organizations to get people out. how frustrating is this? >> it is very frustrating when the diplomatic mission in kabul are arteries, pakistanis who frankly, if not for them, we would not have gotten any of these people out.

they're doing a lot of work, it's important, i appreciate it but the reality is we have the opportunity to do the job right and we did the job wrong and basically attract typical coverups, several hundred people have been aired out in the last two weeks and there were hundreds and hundreds more identified i would appreciate the administration to come clean and say 200 was never the number, 100 was never the number and four or 500 is an understatement just to the u.s. citizens not including at least 30,000 people who would be eligible for green cards but not being processed and that includes a lot of spouses. kennedy: that is the process is supposed to before. keep us posted and thank you so much for all you are doing over there. coming up, growing supply chain prices disrupting everything and may even ruin christmas. what is present binds plan to fix the mess?

shatner, as a "star trek" fan growing up amazing to see him so moved by the experience and thinking he actually made it to space at 90 years old, amazing. i also remember it reminds me of the rightness of the entrepreneurial spirit. i can say what i want about jeff bezos being a weirdo which clearly is but man, he's doing things the government can't or won't do and more power to him, to all these people when we do have regular commercial spaceflight, it won't be because of the federal government, it will be because of the entrepreneurial spirit of people like richard branson jeff bezos so amen, more powers to the weirdos. kennedy: if it weren't for weirdos, i wouldn't be here right now. a mother who grew up in and survived the local school board is using communist party tactics. >> when i was in china, i spent my entire school year in the chinese revolution so i'm very familiar the communist tactics of how they divide people, so the chinese condition destroys our heritage. all things here in america they call them racist for a long time but that did not work so they have to upgrade to domestic terrorists. it's about your own children and for me, it's about our future. the future of this country so we cannot be intimidated. kennedy: don't be intimidated, how can angry parents push back against those who call them terrorists? should they stand down? your husband is a public school

teacher in virginia. his experience with frustrated parents? >> his experience has been the number one thing that separates successful students from students failing involvement of the parents. he always tells me he's never had a problem getting parents to show up for parent teacher conferences when students are arp students and almost never gets peers to show up when kids are failing. here we have the government actively demonizing parents trying to be involved in their children's educational futures. this is one of the most dangerous damning things i've ever seen the government do. we ought to be encouraging parents all across this country getting involved, care about your kids future, care about her education. we want -- that's what's going to create a generation of scholars to leave this country forward. it's not going to be calling parents who care domestic

terrorists. kennedy: you should care whether or not your kids should rewrite at great level. it boils down to the basics and i think that's why parents are frustrated because a lot of these public schools, there a ton of tax money going into them but the results are on the decline for years. >> of course parents should care what happens in their children's school we jumped it, we've seen parents sitting on school board members physically assaulting them in some cases that we can online, calling them out of meetings and screaming at them in the face and there is a way to express this pleasure with what your school is doing but we have seen so many disturbing dangerous incidences were school board members across the country are being harassed and attacked largely because of misinformation about what's happening in their school. i'm a new resident of virginia

as well, we have a governor's race coming up in a few weeks and a lot of these cultural words going on related to the fact that we have an election coming up and heading into a midterm so it's part of a broader cultural moment in our country where people are behaving very badly when they disagree with something. kennedy: but also, vast majority of parents are not behaving badly. majority are upset with what happened in zoom during the pandemic and they realized the schools are being run by teachers unions. you also have experience in virginia schools. >> as a father of a child in virginia public school candidate for city scoreboard, 20 days until the election, it all hits home for me not just professionally but virginia's constitution as reflected by supreme court parents have the right to direct their kids upbringing and education, fundamental basic right predating the constitution, law

and the reason things are boiling over is because the pandemic expose a lot of structural weaknesses on. reporter: and curricular ideas out of step with the communities they are supposed to serve so what for parent take back the power they supposed to have. i don't think we need the fbi to go after to get unruly or violent but the only way to fully diffuse to allow educational funding to students, not just rich parents could enjoy the educational environment. kennedy: absolutely right, if you only allow rich people to choose where the kids go to school, you have an extreme verification in society the government claims to help. i want to thank the party panel, great job all of you.

everybody watching at home, this is how you treat comedy, it's like a buffet. everybody gets a tray, if you like it, put on your tray, if you don't, no need to stop and hold up the line but everyone has become the other thing, i don't believe they are even offended. do you think people have been incentivized to get mad for doing it? is not so much they are not at chapelle for they know if they will gain relevant for saying they are not, does not make sense? that's where we are. kennedy: in a way, everybody has to be special so if there were people like netflix offended or if they are getting publicity, it makes them special so they don't have to sit down and write an entire comedy set in get paid a bunch of money or original ideas, they can just get mad and kind of throw a tantrum which ultimately i don't think really helps their side. i do think dave chapelle brings up a tough points which to me as a woman having birth children, there's something special about being a woman but i also have a

bunch of trans friend who are targeted and i feel protective of them. >> i agree but i don't think jokes or hate crimes and i think they are being completed as such, for a lot of people, comedy is a coping mechanism, you joke about things that are controversy to take about the controversy and that's why nobody is everybody like to be at a party insight i can't wait until they show up because backlight doesn't get invited to the party with all due respect to him and the mob, of course i empathize with birding persons such as yourself. kennedy: a lot of chest meetings.
