the economy it's the government spending is the printing of money it's the fact we have supply chain problem. it's the fact we have a labor shortage. congress will when you tell your constituents? works the world has gone crazy and this administration does not make any sense. let's use a quote you just talked about. thinking the problem is people are spending too much of money does he therefore want consumers to quit spending? and he thanks that is the answer to this problem? it's clearly been indicated already by both events the debt, the spending cuts in government spending is the federal reserve. but i've got to go back to this quote by the white house chief of staff. if you are making a million dollars a year end you're worried about the price of your tesla going up that's one problem they can sit inside a big deal. but if you are a working family, if you are like my children young families just starting out for if you aren't in the inner city single mom

1970s under jimmy carter. through that time was a distant memory at this point for those who didn't these discussions about inflation have kind of been academic up until now. it will be very bad especially for the poor, the middle class and people on a fixed income they still have to put gas in their cars. this people on fixed income they get hurt by most by the inflation rate. >> final point i wish jason was here we could school him a little bit of economics as well. bierce and the sore right now. and wages are not going up. people are feeling the pinch here. they are moving up a little bit but not in lockstep with the inflation we are feeling. that is a bit will start to notice it because the money doesn't stick to their bones. >> some democrats are not so

with the brooklyn dumpling shop i had one 100% contactless restaurant in 2019. an eerily enough i hate to use these words it was pretty good timing but we actually did this before covid. when culvert hit even before we opened were like the first restaurant that sold over 50 franchises before we even opened. now we are past 100 franchises sold around the nation but we are in every city and state from texas, austin, dallas, florida, atlanta georgia at about 50 locations in the tri-state area. and it has been overwhelming. the timing was perfect for the automat to bring back the automat that is overdue 13. jackie: timing is everything you could not control the pandemic it happens paired but you had a business model that essentially sounds to me it was set to thrive in this environment. sometimes that happens. you still wanted to see some of the same pressures other

restaurants efface, inflation, rising cost of good, labor shortages. so how did you navigate the challenges? >> listen we are the only industry that's been attacked from washington down to mayor to blush his office. there been mandates put out by our interest you'll never find a cvs or big tail it's always been unfair out restaurants i believe it's the safest place for consumer as in a restaurant. we have always been attacked. now our biggest challenge as we are growing the brooklyn dumpling shop brand is supply chain. the supply chain is completely broken. shipping containers were $6000 now they are 22000. and government, washington has to step in for the supply chain is broken across not just hospitality, across all businesses. washington needs to step up. jackie: they are stepping up but some folks are saying too little too late.

damage has been done at this point. how soon can we see this implemented to make a difference? your thoughts. >> it is too little too late for the reason is they did not started back on august 24 with the supreme court said they needed -- rank that they had to implement judge order to reimplement the route remain and mexico program but that is the problem, we have already allowed the single business immigration event and the history of the united states without implementing remain in mexico. now we have over 60000 people from haiti working their way up through panama. it is way too little, way too late because they waited too long. and now it's going to be dependent upon mexico. it is mexico actually going to sit down at the table and re- implement the program? they do not have the will to get it done. jackie: may not have to re-

implemented they have to enforce it also. it takes two sides to make this thing happen. but i want to switch gears for a moment. things are getting more dangerous at the border as well. texas saying shots were fired from across the border and national guard soldiers in texas yesterday. the belief is these were cartel gunmen. thankfully no injuries there. but you are literally sitting back and thinking to yourself my god, this is happening in broad daylight. >> this should not surprise anybody pray when you look at what is currently going on, the cartels are emboldened ditch the policies we have here in the united states. they no good and well people are not going too. [inaudible] so the cartels or recognize and understand that right now they have complete and total control of the border. that again is a problem because as we put on uniforms as i go out to patrol the

50 pounds of fentanyl was a very good friend of mine 26 year veteran of the border patrol. he is seeing an awful lot what is going on the ebbs and flows. when you just do not enforce the laws we have the cartels that are dictating to us what our operations are going to be, we are going to continue to see the criminality escalate. when that happens more drugs make it onto our streets but it kills our children in all parts of the country the rule, the inner city and the suburbs. you have to wonder why president biden is not stepping up to the plate? why is he not doing what is best for the american citizens and set up allowing the cartels and you look at the amount of profit the cartels are making, they are making a minimum of $400,000 a month and human smuggling alone that does not include the judge returned drugs. $400million per. >> part of the humanitarian problem as well as you see these kids abandoned at the

border. maria has been down there multiple times you seen her talking with the children. it is heartbreaking. literally heartbreaking at some of the children are being used to smuggle groups of there being used in other ways. >> the cartel do not care about life. i have chased groups across the border at the cartels will drop children on the trails that we then have to fight in the cartels are able to get their groups are crossed and through. if we do not find those children they will die in the desert. that is a dangerous apart about this. when you look at this its policy that allowing these cartels to operate in the fashion that they are. this to be a really simple fix if we just had the political will to do what is right for the american public. >> real quick there is an agenda here. there's a reason they're not acting. >> while of course there is one and one always equals two and people can put it together.
