vaccinated. what do you say? >> you certainly could see the bottleneck during the busiest travel season of the year. here's the thing. remember a year ago we were longing for a single vaccine that might be 40 to 50% effective. then how fortunate we were that a few weeks later we got not one, but two, but three vaccines with much higher efficiency. here's the problem. while the vaccines have been helpful mandates are not. in fact mandates have been destructiontive. they drive oppositional behavior. we know this because of previous history when other vaccines have been mandated. it has not worked as intended. good for southwest. they did the right thing to back off. some of their most valuable and experienced employees were going to be put at risk. they did the right thing. liz: people are, the issue people say what about antibodies? people are scared of the vaccine. we have an annual flu vaccine. health pros say get vaccinated others say listen to us. why isn't the white house,

jason, pushing for testing of antibodies? that shows powerful effectiveness too. because now, jason chaffetz, senator jim inhofe, sent a letter to the pentagon, the hasty biden vac vax mandate, tens of thousands of soldiers could leave. worried about the nation's readiness and security. what do you say about that? >> these are all deep concerns because this administration has failed time and time again to put out the science first. let the scientific community rally behind it. then put out their policy. they put out their policy yet they haven't had the science behind it. what if you're a pregnant woman working for the tsa and border patrol are you going to take the vaccine? my understanding they haven't tested on people who are pregnant? why are they doing this? it is about control, power and

they can look to themselves for the low participation rate. it was kamala harris who said if trump is involved she will have gait hesitancy, she will not do it. consequently they got off to a very poor start, the biden harris administration made it worse, not better. liz: across the country, congressman, thousand of first-responders could walk out, cops, firefighters, doctors, nurses, prison guards. they don't want to get vaccinated. san francisco, seattle, portland, oregon, chicago. we're in the middle of a cop shortage and a crime wave. instead of bullying these individuals are saying is happening to them where is the sit-down and convincing them? we understand vaccines work but there is a lot of hesitancy. what do you say to that? >> its the old show don't tell. this is the sad thing is you have got to relearn this again in the middle of a pandemic and my former colleague, mr. chaffetz is exactly right. the administration did take

$10,000 worth of transactions. you don't become a millionaire or billionaire in $10,000 transactions. they are creating a dragnet into everyone's finances. why aren't they looking at their own waste, fraud and abuse, why look at everyone else? >> liz, the announcement in the last couple days they dropped the 600-dollar snooping item on the irs it's a joke. it is trying to change perception because they knew that the american people were on to it and that the american people were not having it. think about this. if you make a minimum wage in the state of missouri, and you work 40 hours a week, in less than 24 weeks you would then be up to the irs auditors. one thing about it, the legislation that they have before congress right now still supplies $80 billion to hire 8thousand irs auditors to target all americans. 87,000.

especially working challenges families. liz: they act like they have a monopoly claim on taxpayers wallets when there is massive government waste, fraud and abuse. hundreds of billions of dollars in the waste in the u.s. government. why don't they go after that instead of going after taxpayers? >> liz, it is all about command-and-control. democrats love to control the american people and this is a way using the irs which is the most feared agency to target everyday americans to make sure that they monitor when they have any purchase over a couple hundred bucks. and when it adds up to a total of ten thousand dollars, there they go. or just having their income deposited, they will be monitored. liz: this is far left bullying. you're guilty until proven innocent before the irs. i testified twice before the u.s. congress about irs reform and tax reform. i covered the irs for decades. i know irs workers. they don't want to be politicized like this. they don't like it. the irs already leaked to

"propublica" tax returns for the wealthiest. so you know, this is now the tea party of the left as joe lieberman said of "the hill" newspaper. far left progressive are leading a movement that speaks for a tiny portion of the electorate. they don't have a mandate. where is the bipartisan pushback against that? because we sure have seen far lefter bullying, they tried to occupy the department of the interior this weekend. not a lot of media coverage of that, right? >> it is. you know what's scariest, what happened during the obama administration when the irs was targeting the tea party, this is, this is back to that same approach once again. the irs should never be used as a tool against american citizens. it is unacceptable. it is horrifying. it should be a bipartisan approach of folks being against it. liz: we're showing far left activists pushing against cops last thursday t happened through the weekend to as they tried to push their way into federal buildings in washington to

occupy them. democrat senator joe manchin is saying no to, he doesn't like the 150 billion-dollar clean electricity plan. this is the democrats signature piece in their spending bill. he says no to that. this could blow up both the 3 1/2 trillion and special spending infrastructure. is biden's agenda now dead in the water? >> nothing is ever dead in washington unfortunately. we're trying to save america by killing this bill. right now senator manchin is listening to the people of west virginia. the people of west virginia, what they already know about this tax-and-spending proposal, is that they're against it. it is trying to eliminate their way of life. west virginia is a very poor state and this piece of legislation targets working class families. it is unacceptable. has to stop. we have to kill the bill. liz: we've got misreporting by msnbc saying that manchin is putting his donors ahead of you know, of what they think needs

here they are jetting off to glascow at the very time they have a energy crisis they're ignoring on the home front. we have seen natural gas prices increase, seven-year high. gas prices are at a seven-year high, my home state, average gas price is $3.87 a gallon. 50 cents higher than the rest of the country. what i generally know we shouldn't be following the europe lead when they have been imposing these vaccine mandates, more government control, the rush to unreliable energy and what we're seeing as they embraced the green new deal that europe is facing an energy crisis. they have seen a 600% increase in their natural gas prices just this year and energy prices are expected to go up more than 300% as they're facing winter. liz: congresswoman, the hypocrisy of flying polluting airplanes, to talk about carbon taxes on everyone else and to be shamed like the likes of activist greta thornburg when china pumps out more green house

gases than the u.s. and developed world combined. india pumps out tons too, so does russia. they will not cut polluting of gases either. they will slam americans. you meets as well have better luck teaching a cat to bark then these guys to do teleconferences. why can't you just zoom call? >> i think you're making a very good point. they're ignoring that america is leading the world in bringing down carbon emissions. we v brought down our carbon emissions more than any other country in the world. we done it the american way, innovation and technology. you're seeing the shale revolution in the united states of america that has really helped bring down carbon emissions. yet the biden administration is shutting down american energy right now. liz: yeah. >> they know shutting down natural gas, keeping it in the ground at the very time we're heading into winter and we're seeing natural gas prices up, gasoline prices going up. there is a, there is a concern

about reliability, affordability, right here in the united states. american families are facing an increase in their winter heating bills. $746 per family is a 30% increase just to heat their homes this winter because of the policies that the biden administration is imposing in shutting down american energy. liz: now we'll have oil executives. they will testify before congress next week. we're seeing crazy bets in the options markets on 200-dollar oil. let's listen to the energy secretary saying that the you know, basically claiming weakness. the u.s. cannot stand up to china on china's polluting ways. watch this. >> you know we've got a global problem and china is a big contributor to that. we are too. and but we don't have much moral authority to say, you should be doing this if we're not taking action and deploying the technology that we need to deploy. liz: okay. what is she talking about

because president biden admitted in april, 85% of emissions come from outside of the u.s. but we don't have the moral authority? what is she talking about? >> it is just shameful. america absolutely has a the moral authority to call out the chinese communist party for its records of human rights abuses. americans must stand up to china and the biden administration unfortunately is not willing to do that. they're failing to criticize china. they're failing to recognize that this radical agenda that is being pushed here in the united states is actually going to make it more dependent upon china, more dependent upon china renewable supply chains. more dependent supply chains on slave labor. refuse to call it out on china. their policies make us more dependent upon china. they refuse to acknowledge that. >> now they have got senate democrats, leaked documents, carbon taxes on all manufacturing, not just oil and
