eat turkey work, you will have to be the same so grease your local grocery worker and ask when they get deliveries in effect every morning or the middle of the night adelbert and throw that in the deep-freeze now. it will thought in time, that's what a nice bryant is for. turkey smirky, it's just a snobby chicken. when in doubt, bust chicken out. don't worry about it. when you paint that stuffing, creamy garlic mashed petito, tart cranberry sauce, no one needs the overhyped november stable. there's pigeons. you can channel your inner frontiersman at soccer practice. no one will know the difference. cranberries are in short supply as well so here's my plan. you're going to want to remember this in a few weeks. get a giant jar of jam from ikea, mix it with raspberry jell-o. it will be 1000 times more delicious and hardly anyone eats

that cranberry garbage anyway. for my cup loving easter and palate, is a disaster. you will have to make regular mashed petito's and have an extra piece of pumpkin pie and not sweet petito pie. there's plenty to happy had but don't be a jerk and by cans. also, plenty of frozen pie you can store in your face and like it. don't forget to wash it down with hot apples cider. the piping a ministration neither understands nor has a plan for the real effect of the supply chain issue. the president wants to blame it on packers and truckers for empty shelves but why soil the reputations of long-suffering? everything is going to be an short supply and it's more expensive because the axiom of basic economics still holds when the economic government is in a stranglehold.

>> that is true and i like your tips for the thanksgiving meal. i'm having antelope i went hunting for in october for thanksgiving. if there's not a turkey available, that's what i'll be doing. in terms of the biden administration, they've always have this strategy prepending a problem doesn't happen and hoping that it just disappears. they said inflation is transitory and told americans fourth of july they saved 16 cents even though it was an expensive fourth of july meal and they tried the same with thanksgiving. a couple of weeks ago when jen psaki joked about people not being able to get their treadmills, i'm overthinking you can joke about that but wait until they can't get the food they want and need. wait until pantries at food kitchens run out which we are starting to see, then we will have a real problem on their hands outside of starkey comment on treadmills so issues with

regulation and trucking the administration hasn't looked at and problems with california law the governor there hasn't decided to look at and change so it's not going away anytime soon especially in time for the holiday. kennedy: they are fast approaching, i married worried about wound three flour but that's another monologue for another day. i have a good feeling you're going to run for president, harold, in three years. let's say you are the guy in charge because you have to be watching this busting everything fall apart, what with the harold plan b right now? >> first, it's good to be on and i'm glad to be on for the first time and hope it's not the last. i think katie is right and your monologue opening mailed the frame of it. if i were president, someone in the white house advising the president, i'd have my transportation secretary and small business administration perhaps in the coast, the west

coast but a task force figuring out how we get the big cargo ships and, i have a team at the white house figuring out ways in which over the next three, six, nine months would prevent this from happening. in fairness to president biden, some of this was happening before, shortage of truck drivers and experiencing supply shortages before covid. largely our economy now is organized around efficiency and not having access up anything. coded happened and we found ourselves in a different situation. when it comes to gas, we should tap the oil reserve and reverse xl pipeline decision the president should rsp an effort to streamline and strengthen electrical grid forecasters are right, this will be tough this winter. electrical rate will be tested across the country so i think they've got to think not just in texas, they've got to think more ahead and they've got to be more

aggressive in their efforts. kennedy: people would like to see it and pulling shows people don't have faith in this administration so jeff, are they missing out on basic economics? what do you see here? >> magical thinking. we are poor than before covid. certainly poor then would we had covid not happen because we shut down half the world. less goods and services than before covid. this is the reality. we can talk about supply chain, that's fixable but bottom line, we produce less goods and services but government fiscal and monetary -wise produced about 13.5 trillion in new money so it's simple math. we have more money, less stuff in the equals inflation so the idea that not only is inflation transitory or manageable but a lot of people on the left say the good thing, it shows our economy is coming back and we are healthy, it's a good thing if you're getting 8% raise at

work consistently every year but for average people, people of low income. kennedy: also, their rent goes up more than 8% a year. gas 61st -- 62% this year end while the supply chain, people are judged, he's going to save the day, right? he says roads are racist. >> how you will deconstruct racism into the roadways. >> i'm surprised some people were surprised when i pointed to the fact that if a highway was built for the purpose of dividing white and black neighborhood or if an underpass was constructed such that a bus carrying mostly black and puerto rican kids or would have been new york was designed to low for

it to pass by but obviously that reflects racism that went into the design choices. kennedy: everything is racist. do you know there is actual racism and slave labor in china and fax how they have construction boom for things like pipe derail? is the ideal? >> and all the solar panels he wants us to buy from a many built by uighurs by the chinese communist party so that is also a problem. it would be nice if pete buttigieg stops focusing on this issue of what they call equity talk about how he's going to get the infrastructure bill put in place and get the project done for disenfranchised communities. for example, how will he work with the epa to make sure the environmental regulations on the books don't clog up bill for 20 years from now? part of infrastructure not getting done in this country for three decades isn't simply just because republicans and

democrats couldn't find something to agree on to spend a ton of money, the environmental regulations we have don't allow for us to build anything. there's no way today we could build the hoover dam, we have a hard time fixing anything because of the enormous number of the burdensome environmental relations not to say you can't be cautious of that. kennedy: try building a house in the middle of the county. >> exactly, that's going to be part of the problem here. kennedy: harold, there certainly were projects that were built on the backs of brown and black people and immigrants in this country and we do have a painful past that i think, it benefits us to acknowledge but let's stop acting, and 2021 it's still 1956. it's a great abdication of responsibility to fall back on that because it excuses someone like pete buttigieg whom i like that one time for doing actual

work. >> i don't think highways are necessarily racist. i think there may be some with the secretary is saying how roads some roads might be built and underpasses might be constructive but we need to realize is the reason we have to invest in infrastructure the next five to ten years i'm not satisfied with 1.2 trillion, isaac we need another 1.2 trillion next year because china has invested $10 trillion in the infrastructure in another ten around the globe trying to strengthen their own nation and here we are debating over a trillion dollar infrastructure built in with not spent this level of investment in over 50 -- 60 years in our country so thinking about race and equity something we should do as a nation and there are appropriate times for that conversation but infrastructure i don't see the

value of it. i see the value in we as america all americans going forward need the best parts. kennedy: privatize them. thank you, harold. privatize all of them. well said. >> how you built them to access any cargo ship and build more around the globe? kennedy: i don't know if. i think ships and trains are done. what you think, jeff? [laughter] you think this is ultimately inflationary? >> of course it is hurt poor people the most. infrastructure, do you think this will go to the hamptons? it will pull domain on this? no. it's phony, it's always been, the golden gate bridge was built anywhere. in terms of who got the contracts and construction nonetheless we've lost the will to do projects at the federal

level. at best, i cringe to say this but you're going to spend the money, kick it down at the state level or local level, then make coherent decisions there. kennedy: centralized planning is a great disservice to everybody especially some of those lesser privileged communities. party panel sticking around because they are that good, we've got a lot to get tonight. investors say only going up from here but could it be used as an actual currency? how could we do that and put it lower your taxes? miami mayor making that happen in his city. he is next. ♪♪

bandwagon. the first to usher in the crypto age new york city mayor elect and francis suarez promising to collect future paychecks in bitcoin. suarez is unveiling a plan to turn miami into premier crypto city which is fantastic because they are the premier city for lime green songs and cigars. all right, what will that mean for the people who live and visit better here with me now, mayor of miami was just reelected to his second term, francis suarez, welcome back. >> a pleasure to be with you. kennedy: what is your vision for crypto and miami specifically? how could it lower taxes for people in your city? >> a number of different ways. first of all, we've already spent the crypto b-uppercase-letter u.s., we got the big blind conference from a 50000 person conference. we've got ftx to do a $200 million deal naming the arena.

we got exchanges like you tomorrow to locate and headquarter the city of miami, hundreds of high-paying jobs created. that's on the industry side. we are also working with bitcoin miami wind generating $20 million. we are going to stake, it will provide bitcoin yield we are going to pass on to our residents. who will be the first city in america that will be returning in their investment to its residents so that's an incredible collaboration we've seen between the community that created miami in the bitcoin community on top of it and the fact that i decided to take my salary in bitcoin has set off another wave of mayors like the mayor of new york and tampa, i got calls from the mayor of johnsonville want to take their salaries in bitcoin also so it's

a new frontier for america an extremely exciting and will benefit our country and our citizens. kennedy: that all happens if bitcoin and various crypto currencies go up. a lot of people look at this and they are scared to given, they see the volatility, what happens if you're coin goes down? do people have to pay higher taxes? >> they don't because city going is voluntary so people mine.created a work just like a reward for mining bitcoin and a percentage is put into a digital wallet the city benefits from so we are going to cash out a percentage of what has been accumulated from 20 million accumulated in just three months and that's tax-free. people are not intervening to it, we lowered taxes the second lowest rate since the 1960s so miami, additional revenue a

nontax source. kennedy: i wish more people would discover the joy of lowering taxes. the country in so many cities would be a much better place and speaking of which, how could you encourage the fed to engage in crypto investment you have in miami? it lowers taxes for people in your city, isn't there a way of implementing this with the fed and irs? >> the fed has an issue and "the issue is" the fed as well as congress is controlled by people. they obviously have great policy whether to monitor or fiscal, it doesn't always necessarily benefit our citizens so what's happening with bitcoin, it's a beautiful program, somebody played by humans, you don't create more circulation or revenue stream so what we are seeing with the expansion of the money supply rapid inflation in

the lawsuits are piling up, multiple investigations are underway and families of the astro world concert victims are speaking out and they are understandably angry. among those entered, a 9-year-old boy who trampled in the stampede. he's in a medically induced, with organ damage and brain swelling. his grandfather is among those demanding accountability. >> this has altered our family. this has altered given the legacy of our family because we don't know if you will ever recover from this. this is my son, my only son so i'm angry because disrupted our family and this could have been avoided people in positions of power had done the right thing.

kennedy: awful. on top of that, the fire chief said travis scott should have stopped the show when he saw people were hurt. who is to blame for the deaths of this many people? in the injuries, many, many more. in the hundreds. party panel is back, katie pavlich, harold junior. katie, august the people are upset and pursuing. what are you hearing today about how this happened and how the show could happen stopped? >> travis scott is saying he would have stopped if he knew it was happening and people were being killed, they deny he knew that. lawsuits have been filed, hundreds of people injured it sounds like the concert was oversold and there were too many people so when the stampede occurred, it just turned out to be a complete disaster, a nightmare so i also heard they are investigating travis scott behavior at previous concert to

incite crowds to get crazy so there's a lot of legality here, lots of liability for him and the venue and security company that allowed this many people to go into the venue so it's one of those things a lot of wait and see and there will be liability for someone in this horrible situation. kennedy: harold ford junior, if this were one of my kids, i would hire whoever i could to send the loudest message possible i'm coming after you, i don't care if you have a team of lawyers, i don't care if you have your personal infrastructure, your -- is mine and you are going to pay travis scott. as a father and former congressman from what you see her? >> i think your instinct is one being pursued by the families in houston and others affected by this. my heart is broken and prayers go out to the families and loved

ones who lost loved ones and the grandfather talked about his grandson in that picture. i think katie is right, the legality and lawyers in court will help determine liability here and hopefully we get to the bottom of it. it won't bring back lives but i hope lessons can be learned and if it's a lesson learned by this young man travis scott, i think that's his stage name and for that matter, other artists who undertake concerts outdoors and bring lots of people together, perhaps this will develop and usher in a new standard for how the outdoor events take place but no amount of words obviously can bring back the lives and all of the heartbreak that obviously exists in houston and in texas and the country. kennedy: if this isn't the only

music festival. we see music festivals across the country and now there's a petition to get travis scott taken off lollapalooza. or coachella or whatever. they don't want him at one of these festivals inside the crowd because i understand there's a lot of competition, you have to be the biggest and loudest. i have motley crew a few weeks ago and a big part of his book was trying to figure out how could they be louder? how quickly have more pyrotechnics? you see that in these shows, it's a direct result of what motley crew was doing for years. having said that, you should know as a concert operator how to keep people from dying. >> it's interesting, lawsuits already been filed because normally the families affected would retain an attorney and the attorney would submit letters to the promoter, the artist and venue, probably some language on the back edge of each attendee ticket that basically says we are not liable if something terrible happens to you at the

show but the fact that they filed lawsuit already makes me wonder if it's not a smart pr tactic and the other thing, were they understaffed? right now $20 an hour is basically minimum wage in america. you get down to $18, $15, it's almost impossible to hire. if you go to mcdonald's and they are understaffed, you wait a little extra or maybe your burger is cold. at a concert like this, it's obviously tragic. kennedy: they will continue to work hard, go to in-and-out. the line still moves, the drive through is still rolling in my double double protein style is still delicious. gavin are -- governor? esther handsome, gavin newsom, two weeks disappearing act. october 27, he received a covid booster shot. the next day he suddenly canceled his trip to the un climate change conference and

to spend more time with his family, you know they are lying. have to look at the real reason. i got to push back on the handsomeness of this guy, but nonetheless, he is lying, it doesn't matter. a politician doesn't give up an opportunity to be a big shot at acclimate conference, being the governor of california is like being the president of one of the biggest countries in the world. this is a guy who likes to be on camera. kennedy: he got his shot like yeah, look at these guns. did one of your agents say i know you've got a yarn in here you are dying to share with the world, how did this come about? >> the literary agents and publishers want you to do cookie-cutter what you've done before so they can sell it again. when you want to take a right turn as you said, they get scared and nervous, i'm not scared or nervous. i know i had a great story in my head with great characters and the reviews so far have been phenomenal. kennedy: are you johnny or the cleaner? i know who i am. >> i'm a little bit of both. my personality is mark and johnny but the personality of the cleaner was based on a woman i've worked -- when i worked at wendy's flipping burgers. kennedy: i love that story so much and she was in charge of the salad bar, that would be my job. i love your dedication to your craft. the book is great, we are going
