follow that line so now that we get to this negotiation we should be getting ready to vote, for him to automatically say i'm going to vote no, it seems disingenuous when the whole time democrats are working on the redline and what you set up so the beginning of this debate, if he was going to be a no vote, he should have said that three months ago but instead he kept it going to come now days before christmas before the early income tax child credit runs out say i'm a no, that's disingenuous. kennedy: i'm sorry for the child care tax credit was disingenuous because what he's saying is it's cruel to include something like that that only exists for one year and then keep it advertised cost to take it away. he sat that's unfair, that's corporate if you keep it in there and it becomes a 3 trillion-dollar bill and that's what he cannot go back to his

voters and try to have them stomach. i don't have a problem with this, olivia, i don't. i don't care if he stays at democrat or becomes republican, what it shows to me is there are not two parties in this country. we need a multiparty system because you have people with obviously vastly different philosophies trying to shoehorn themselves into this two-party tent. >> exactly. this is what i hate about partisanship hyper polarized politics, people are acting like joe manchin is a stranger to the democratic party and leftist or liberal valleys when he's representing his people, his constituency about the people of west virginia do not want the build back better built, simple as that. he's not serving aoc or joe biden, he's not serving progressives in congress and the other democratic senators by

making this decision, he's serving the people who put him in office. west virginia is a conservative state and it's a miracle at democrat is in office in a conservative state in the first place so he's going to do what the people want and i've seen experts say he's basically saving america from financial economic disaster. we are trying to pass a trillion dollar bill when we are seeing massive inflation, massive spending, it's not the right move from anyway i look at it. kennedy: great points. the other thing the white house wasn't able to do is explain how the bill would stave off inflation, they can't because it's only going to exacerbated, that is obvious. jen psaki says 17 nobel prize-winning economist say this is great and it's actually going to be cheaper than nothing. if that's not true, it's false. the build back better -- that's right, paul can eat a sack of

then decided we are going to push build back better and then decided we're going to try and get infrastructure done which they did, good job and you earned your 40% approval i guess so people are dumb, they see he was elected kind of on this nations embassy incompetence and we haven't seen confidence uncovered or empathy with the afghanistan pullout and he hasn't recovered from that. if he had gotten more of covid under control at the beginning of his term, that he probably could have pushed build back better or whatever but they decided not to do that, they decided to use it to their advantage to get all of this shipped through and here we are today we implement think mask mandate, schools are shutting down, a new variant that's complete panic outside in places like new york and d.c. and there's a lot of responsibility for that. kennedy: he does, he said he would get a handle on the virus and he's going to defeat the virus with his their bony hands.

people and trying to pretend everything is great, olivia, when people walk around and yet again are in masks and kids aren't going to school, they are going back to remote learning and a lot of places like new york city and meat, gas and bananas and everything is costing way more, that's more important to people than messaging from the white house so what do we do to fix it? >> that's way more important and for vaccination, we are seeing as an outcast all have covid and double vaccinated, probably have their 15th booster and they still got the new variant so my view is we should be worrying about things we can change or fix about the build back better is not one thing we should be using to improve the situation. like you said, there are supply chain issues and inflation, cross gas has gone up, chicken, a whole chicken is $20 now. there's so many more important

haven't given the hostages back. it's time for parents to reclaim the right to educate the parents children as they see fit. if you haven't woken up, now is the time to do so. without parents would have the right to send their kids in person instruction full-time five days a week after two weeks, we thought it would just be a couple of months, just a year, where -- it's over a year end a half and they are still playing the same games because parents get the short end of the stick over and over with k-12 education. there is one way to fix it, the only way to fix it with freedom rather than force is to fund student directly, empower families to finally hold the unions and government school monopoly accountable. kennedy: and that's exactly what corey and other school choice advocates are doing.

they are terrified they've got something that's going to kill them so how do you alleviate your own fear? >> the programming has been successful, there's no reason children should be hearing catching covid, it's not dangerous for small children, it's not proven especially risky for small children in elementary, it's not that much of a risk to the fact that kids are crying want to wear a mask to quilt and forced to wear a mask to school, i doesn't sit right with me. what happened to the healthy people? i'm proud to say i've never had the flu or the flu shot. i got covid once a year ago and had called like symptoms for a week or two and recovered quickly and easily, a lot of people are young and healthy able bodied and not much at risk. if you are in fact at risk category, get your vaccine but i feel we are forgetting people are just healthy. kennedy: they are.
