break there in talks with the teachers union. parents in chicago considering pulling their children out of public schools. grady trimble has a story, grady. >> hey liz, public schools in chicago were closed again today as a chicago teachers union walkout continues. more and more parents are intrigued too because so many public schools have gone virtual in a new type of schooling called micro- school. they have smaller class sizes and fewer students. you can see that parents are interested in this type of education because public school enrollment has dropped off by about 3% and the u.s. from 2019, 22020. kristin is the director here at humboldt park we have kids in the school it yourself. why do you think parents are interested in this? especially during code they have in person in classroom interaction. >> this pandemic really gave parents the opportunity to look for something that might be different as far as education for their children. we are able to offer things
